Jeremías 18

Das Wort, welches an Jeremia vonseiten des HERRN erging, lautet also:

LA palabra que fué á Jeremías de Jehová, diciendo:

Mache dich auf und gehe in das Haus des Töpfers hinab, daselbst will ich dich meine Worte hören lassen!

Levántate, y vete á casa del alfarero, y allí te haré oir mis palabras.

Arise, and go down to the potter’s house, and there I will cause thee to hear my words.

Und ich ging in das Haus des Töpfers hinab und siehe, da machte er gerade eine Arbeit auf der Scheibe.

Y descendí á casa del alfarero, y he aquí que él hacía obra sobre la rueda.

Then I went down to the potter’s house, and, behold, he wrought a work on the wheels.

Das Gefäß, welches er aus Ton machte, mißlang dem Töpfer unter den Händen. Da fing er von neuem an und machte daraus ein anderes Gefäß, wie es in den Augen des Töpfers richtig war.

Y el vaso que él hacía de barro se quebró en la mano del alfarero; y tornó é hízolo otro vaso, según que al alfarero pareció mejor hacerlo.

And the vessel that he made of clay was marred in the hand of the potter: so he made it again another vessel, as seemed good to the potter to make it.

Da sprach der HERR zu mir:

Entonces fué á mí palabra de Jehová, diciendo:

Kann ich mit euch nicht tun wie dieser Töpfer, du Haus Israel? spricht der HERR. Siehe, wie der Ton in der Hand des Töpfers, also seid ihr in meiner Hand, Haus Israel!

¿No podré yo hacer de vosotros como este alfarero, oh casa de Israel, dice Jehová? He aquí que como el barro en la mano del alfarero, así sois vosotros en mi mano, oh casa de Israel.

O house of Israel, cannot I do with you as this potter? saith the LORD. Behold, as the clay is in the potter’s hand, so are ye in mine hand, O house of Israel.

“House of Israel, can’t I do with you as this potter?” says the LORD. “Behold, as the clay in the potter’s hand, so are you in my hand, house of Israel.

Plötzlich rede ich wider ein Volk oder ein Königreich, dasselbe auszurotten, zu verderben und zugrunde zu richten;

En un instante hablaré contra gentes y contra reinos, para arrancar, y disipar, y destruir.

At what instant I shall speak concerning a nation, and concerning a kingdom, to pluck up, and to pull down, and to destroy it;

kehrt aber jenes Volk, über welches ich geredet habe, von seiner Bosheit um, so lasse auch ich mich des Unglücks gereuen, das ich über sie zu bringen gedachte.

Empero si esas gentes se convirtieren de su maldad, de que habré hablado, yo me arrepentiré del mal que había pensado hacerles.

If that nation, against whom I have pronounced, turn from their evil, I will repent of the evil that I thought to do unto them.

Ebenso plötzlich aber, wenn ich rede von einem Volk oder Königreich, es zu bauen oder zu pflanzen,

Y en un instante hablaré de la gente y del reino, para edificar y para plantar;

And at what instant I shall speak concerning a nation, and concerning a kingdom, to build and to plant it;

und jenes Volk übeltut vor mir und meiner Stimme nicht gehorcht, so lasse auch ich mich des Guten gereuen, das ich mir vorgenommen hatte, ihnen zu tun.

Pero si hiciere lo malo delante de mis ojos, no oyendo mi voz, arrepentiréme del bien que había determinado hacerle.

If it do evil in my sight, that it obey not my voice, then I will repent of the good, wherewith I said I would benefit them.

Darum sage nun den Männern Judas und den Einwohnern Jerusalems: So spricht der HERR: Sehet, ich bereite Unglück wider euch und nehme mir gegen euch etwas vor. Darum kehret um, ein jeder von seinem bösen Weg, und bessert eure Wege und eure Taten!

Ahora pues habla luego á todo hombre de Judá, y á los moradores de Jerusalem, diciendo: Así ha dicho Jehová: He aquí que yo dispongo mal contra vosotros, y trazo contra vosotros designios: conviértase ahora cada uno de su mal camino, y mejorad vuestros caminos y vuestras obras.

Now therefore go to, speak to the men of Judah, and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, saying, Thus saith the LORD; Behold, I frame evil against you, and devise a device against you: return ye now every one from his evil way, and make your ways and your doings good.

“Now therefore, speak to the men of Judah, and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, saying, ‘The LORD says: “Behold, I frame evil against you, and devise a plan against you. Everyone return from his evil way now, and amend your ways and your doings.”’

Aber sie sagen: «Daraus wird nichts, denn nach unsern Ratschlägen wollen wir wandeln und wollen ein jeder nach der Verstocktheit seines bösen Herzens handeln!»

Y dijeron: Es por demás: porque en pos de nuestras imaginaciones hemos de ir, y hemos de hacer cada uno el pensamiento de su malvado corazón.

And they said, There is no hope: but we will walk after our own devices, and we will every one do the imagination of his evil heart.

But they say, ‘It is in vain; for we will walk after our own plans, and we will each follow the stubbornness of his evil heart.’”

Darum spricht der HERR also: Fraget doch unter den Heiden; wer hat dergleichen gehört? Gar abscheulich hat die Jungfrau Israel gehandelt.

Por tanto, así dijo Jehová: Preguntad ahora á las gentes, quién tal haya oído. Gran fealdad ha hecho la virgen de Israel.

Therefore thus saith the LORD; Ask ye now among the heathen, who hath heard such things: the virgin of Israel hath done a very horrible thing.

Therefore the LORD says: “Ask now among the nations, ‘Who has heard such things?’ The virgin of Israel has done a very horrible thing.

Verläßt auch der Schnee des Libanon den Fels des Gefildes, oder versiegen die quellenden, kühlen, fließenden Wasser? Aber mein Volk hat meiner vergessen.

¿Faltará la nieve del Líbano de la piedra del campo? ¿faltarán las aguas frías que corren de lejanas tierras?

Will a man leave the snow of Lebanon which cometh from the rock of the field? or shall the cold flowing waters that come from another place be forsaken?

Will the snow of Lebanon fail from the rock of the field? Will the cold waters that flow down from afar be dried up?

Sie haben den eiteln Götzen geräuchert und sind auf ihren Wegen, den ewigen Pfaden, gestrauchelt, um auf Steigen ungebahnter Wege zu wandeln,

Porque mi pueblo me ha olvidado, incensando á la vanidad, y hácenles tropezar en sus caminos, en las sendas antiguas, para que caminen por sendas, por camino no hollado;

Because my people hath forgotten me, they have burned incense to vanity, and they have caused them to stumble in their ways from the ancient paths, to walk in paths, in a way not cast up;

For my people have forgotten me. They have burned incense to false gods. They have been made to stumble in their ways in the ancient paths, to walk in byways, in a way not built up,

um also ihr Land zum Entsetzen und ewigen Gespött zu machen, daß jeder Vorübergehende sich entsetzen und sein Haupt schütteln wird.

Para poner su tierra en desolación, y en silbos perpetuos; todo aquel que pasare por ella se maravillará, y meneará su cabeza.

To make their land desolate, and a perpetual hissing; every one that passeth thereby shall be astonished, and wag his head.

Wie durch den Ostwind will ich sie vor dem Feinde zerstreuen; den Rücken und nicht das Angesicht will ich ihnen zeigen am Tage ihres Unglücks!

Como viento solano los esparciré delante del enemigo; mostraréles las espaldas, y no el rostro, en el día de su perdición.

I will scatter them as with an east wind before the enemy; I will shew them the back, and not the face, in the day of their calamity.

Da sprachen sie: «Kommt, laßt uns wider Jeremia Anschläge ersinnen! Denn es wird weder das Gesetz dem Priester, noch der Rat dem Weisen, noch das Wort dem Propheten verlorengehen. Wohlan, laßt uns ihn mit der Zunge niederschlagen, daß wir auf keines seiner Worte merken müssen!»

Y dijeron: Venid, y tracemos maquinaciones contra Jeremías; porque la ley no faltará del sacerdote, ni consejo del sabio, ni palabra del profeta. Venid é hirámoslo de lengua, y no miremos á todas sus palabras.

Then said they, Come, and let us devise devices against Jeremiah; for the law shall not perish from the priest, nor counsel from the wise, nor the word from the prophet. Come, and let us smite him with the tongue, and let us not give heed to any of his words.

Then they said, “Come! Let’s devise plans against Jeremiah; for the law won’t perish from the priest, nor counsel from the wise, nor the word from the prophet. Come, and let’s strike him with the tongue, and let’s not give heed to any of his words.”

Merke du auf mich, o HERR, und horche auf die Stimme meiner Widersacher!

Oh Jehová, mira por mí, y oye la voz de los que contienden conmigo.

Give heed to me, O LORD, and hearken to the voice of them that contend with me.

Give heed to me, LORD, and listen to the voice of those who contend with me.

Soll Gutes mit Bösem vergolten werden, da sie meiner Seele eine Grube gegraben haben? Gedenke, wie ich vor dir gestanden habe, zu ihrem Besten zu reden, um deinen Zorn von ihnen abzuwenden!

¿Dase mal por bien, para que hayan cavado hoyo á mi alma? Acuérdate que me puse delante de ti para hablar bien por ellos, para apartar de ellos tu ira.

Shall evil be recompensed for good? for they have digged a pit for my soul. Remember that I stood before thee to speak good for them, and to turn away thy wrath from them.

So übergib nun ihre Söhne dem Hunger und liefere sie dem Schwerte aus! Ihre Weiber sollen der Kinder beraubt und Witwen werden; ihre Männer sollen von der Pest getötet, ihre Jünglinge im Krieg mit dem Schwert erschlagen werden!

Por tanto, entrega sus hijos á hambre, y hazlos derramar por medio de la espada; y queden sus mujeres sin hijos, y viudas; y sus maridos sean puestos á muerte, y sus jóvenes heridos á cuchillo en la guerra.

Therefore deliver up their children to the famine, and pour out their blood by the force of the sword; and let their wives be bereaved of their children, and be widows; and let their men be put to death; let their young men be slain by the sword in battle.

Wehgeschrei erhebe sich aus ihren Häusern, wenn du unversehens ein Kriegsheer über sie führen wirst; denn sie haben eine Grube gegraben, um mich zu fangen, und haben meinen Füßen Fallstricke gelegt.

Oigase clamor de sus casas, cuando trajeres sobre ellos ejército de repente: porque cavaron hoyo para prenderme, y á mis pies han escondido lazos.

Let a cry be heard from their houses, when thou shalt bring a troop suddenly upon them: for they have digged a pit to take me, and hid snares for my feet.

Du aber weißt, o HERR, alle ihre Ratschläge, die sie gefaßt haben, um mich zu töten; decke ihre Missetat nicht zu, und tilge ihre Sünden nicht vor deinem Angesicht! Als Gestürzte laß sie vor deinem Angesicht liegen! Zur Zeit deines Zorns handle wider sie!

Mas tú, oh Jehová, conoces todo su consejo contra mí para muerte; no perdones su maldad, ni borres su pecado de delante de tu rostro: y tropiecen delante de ti; haz así con ellos en el tiempo de tu furor.

Yet, LORD, thou knowest all their counsel against me to slay me: forgive not their iniquity, neither blot out their sin from thy sight, but let them be overthrown before thee; deal thus with them in the time of thine anger.

Yet, LORD, you know all their counsel against me to kill me. Don’t forgive their iniquity. Don’t blot out their sin from your sight, Let them be overthrown before you. Deal with them in the time of your anger.
