Paroles de Jérémie, fils de Hilkija, un des sacrificateurs habitant à Anathoth, au pays de Benjamin.

LAS palabras de Jeremías hijo de Hilcías, de los sacerdotes que estuvieron en Anathoth, en tierra de Benjamín.

The words of Jeremiah the son of Hilkiah, of the priests that were in Anathoth in the land of Benjamin:

La parole de l'Eternel lui fut adressée au temps de Josias, fils d'Amon, roi de Juda, la treizième année de son règne ;

La palabra de Jehová que fué á él en los días de Josías hijo de Amón, rey de Judá, en el año décimotercio de su reinado.

To whom the word of the LORD came in the days of Josiah the son of Amon king of Judah, in the thirteenth year of his reign.

The LORD’s word came to him in the days of Josiah the son of Amon, king of Judah, in the thirteenth year of his reign.

puis au temps de Jéhojakim, fils de Josias, roi de Juda, jusqu'à la fin de la onzième année de Sédécias, fils de Josias, roi de Juda, jusqu'à la déportation de Jérusalem au cinquième mois.

Fué asimismo en días de Joacim hijo de Josías, rey de Judá, hasta el fin del año undécimo de Sedechîas hijo de Josías, rey de Judá, hasta la cautividad de Jerusalem en el mes quinto.

It came also in the days of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah, unto the end of the eleventh year of Zedekiah the son of Josiah king of Judah, unto the carrying away of Jerusalem captive in the fifth month.

La parole de l'Eternel me fut adressée en ces mots :

Fué pues palabra de Jehová á mí, diciendo:

Then the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

Now the LORD’s word came to me, saying,

Avant de te former dans les flancs de ta mère, je te connaissais ; et avant que tu sortisses de son sein, je t'ai consacré, je t'ai établi prophète des nations.

Antes que te formase en el vientre te conocí, y antes que salieses de la matriz te santifiqué, te dí por profeta á las gentes.

Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.

“Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you. Before you were born, I sanctified you. I have appointed you a prophet to the nations.”

Et je dis : Ah ! Seigneur Eternel, voici, je ne sais point parler, car je suis un enfant.

Y yo dije: ¡Ah! ¡ah! ¡Señor Jehová! He aquí, no sé hablar, porque soy niño.

Then said I, Ah, Lord GOD! behold, I cannot speak: for I am a child.

Then I said, “Ah, Lord GOD! Behold, I don’t know how to speak; for I am a child.”

Et l'Eternel me répondit : Ne dis pas : Je suis un enfant ! car tu iras vers tous ceux à qui je t'enverrai, et tu diras tout ce que je t'ordonnerai.

Y díjome Jehová: No digas, soy niño; porque á todo lo que te enviaré irás tú, y dirás todo lo que te mandaré.

But the LORD said unto me, Say not, I am a child: for thou shalt go to all that I shall send thee, and whatsoever I command thee thou shalt speak.

But the LORD said to me, “Don’t say, ‘I am a child;’ for you must go to whomever I send you, and you must say whatever I command you.

Sois sans peur devant eux, car je suis avec toi pour te délivrer, dit l'Eternel.

No temas delante de ellos, porque contigo soy para librarte, dice Jehová.

Be not afraid of their faces: for I am with thee to deliver thee, saith the LORD.

Don’t be afraid because of them, for I am with you to rescue you,” says the LORD.

Puis l'Eternel avança la main, et toucha ma bouche, et l'Eternel me dit : Voici, je mets mes paroles dans ta bouche ;

Y extendió Jehová su mano, y tocó sobre mi boca; y díjome Jehová: He aquí he puesto mis palabras en tu boca.

Then the LORD put forth his hand, and touched my mouth. And the LORD said unto me, Behold, I have put my words in thy mouth.

Then the LORD stretched out his hand and touched my mouth. Then the LORD said to me, “Behold, I have put my words in your mouth.

vois, je t'établis en ce jour sur les nations et sur les royaumes, pour arracher et pour abattre, pour ruiner et pour détruire, pour bâtir et pour planter.

Mira que te he puesto en este día sobre gentes y sobre reinos, para arrancar y para destruir, y para arruinar y para derribar, y para edificar y para plantar.

See, I have this day set thee over the nations and over the kingdoms, to root out, and to pull down, and to destroy, and to throw down, to build, and to plant.

Behold, I have today set you over the nations and over the kingdoms, to uproot and to tear down, to destroy and to overthrow, to build and to plant.”

Et la parole de l'Eternel me fut adressée en ces mots : Que vois-tu, Jérémie ? Et je répondis : Je vois une branche d'amandier.

Y la palabra de Jehová fué á mí, diciendo: ¿Qué ves tú, Jeremías? Y dije: Yo veo una vara de almendro.

Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, Jeremiah, what seest thou? And I said, I see a rod of an almond tree.

Moreover the LORD’s word came to me, saying, “Jeremiah, what do you see?” I said, “I see a branch of an almond tree.”

Et l'Eternel me dit : Tu as bien vu, car je veille sur ma parole pour l'accomplir.

Y díjome Jehová: Bien has visto; porque yo apresuro mi palabra para ponerla por obra.

Then said the LORD unto me, Thou hast well seen: for I will hasten my word to perform it.

Then the LORD said to me, “You have seen well; for I watch over my word to perform it.”

Et la parole de l'Eternel me fut adressée pour la seconde fois en ces mots : Que vois-tu ? Et je répondis : Je vois une chaudière qui bout, et elle est du côté du septentrion.

Y fué á mí palabra de Jehová segunda vez, diciendo: ¿Qué ves tú? Y dije: Yo veo una olla que hierve; y su haz está de la parte del aquilón.

And the word of the LORD came unto me the second time, saying, What seest thou? And I said, I see a seething pot; and the face thereof is toward the north.

The LORD’s word came to me the second time, saying, “What do you see?” I said, “I see a boiling cauldron; and it is tipping away from the north.”

Et l'Eternel me dit : C'est du septentrion que le malheur éclatera sur tous les habitants du pays.

Y díjome Jehová: Del aquilón se soltará el mal sobre todos los moradores de la tierra.

Then the LORD said unto me, Out of the north an evil shall break forth upon all the inhabitants of the land.

Then the LORD said to me, “Out of the north, evil will break out on all the inhabitants of the land.

Car je vais appeler toutes les familles des royaumes du septentrion, dit l'Eternel, et elles viendront et placeront chacune leur siège à l'entrée des portes de Jérusalem et contre toutes ses murailles à l'entour et contre toutes les villes de Juda.

Porque he aquí que yo convoco todas las familias de los reinos del aquilón, dice Jehová; y vendrán, y pondrá cada uno su asiento á la entrada de las puertas de Jerusalem, y junto á todos sus muros en derredor, y en todas las ciudades de Judá.

For, lo, I will call all the families of the kingdoms of the north, saith the LORD; and they shall come, and they shall set every one his throne at the entering of the gates of Jerusalem, and against all the walls thereof round about, and against all the cities of Judah.

For behold, I will call all the families of the kingdoms of the north,” says the LORD. “They will come, and they will each set his throne at the entrance of the gates of Jerusalem, and against all its walls all around, and against all the cities of Judah.

Et je prononcerai mes sentences contre eux pour toute leur méchanceté, parce qu'ils m'ont abandonné et ont encensé d'autres dieux et adoré l'ouvrage de leurs mains.

Y á causa de toda su malicia, proferiré mis juicios contra los que me dejaron, é incensaron á dioses extraños, y á hechuras de sus manos se encorvaron.

And I will utter my judgments against them touching all their wickedness, who have forsaken me, and have burned incense unto other gods, and worshipped the works of their own hands.

Et toi, ceins tes reins et lève-toi, et dis-leur tout ce que je t'ordonnerai ; ne t'abats pas à cause d'eux, de peur que je ne t'abatte devant eux ;

Tú pues, ciñe tus lomos, y te levantarás, y les hablarás todo lo que te mandaré: no temas delante de ellos, porque no te haga yo quebrantar delante de ellos.

Thou therefore gird up thy loins, and arise, and speak unto them all that I command thee: be not dismayed at their faces, lest I confound thee before them.

“You therefore put your belt on your waist, arise, and say to them all that I command you. Don’t be dismayed at them, lest I dismay you before them.

et voici, moi je t'établis en ce jour comme une ville forte et une colonne de fer et une muraille d'airain contre tout le pays, contre les rois du pays de Juda, contre ses princes, contre ses sacrificateurs et contre le peuple.

Porque he aquí que yo te he puesto en este día como ciudad fortalecida, y como columna de hierro, y como muro de bronce sobre toda la tierra, á los reyes de Judá, á sus príncipes, á sus sacerdotes, y al pueblo de la tierra.

For, behold, I have made thee this day a defenced city, and an iron pillar, and brasen walls against the whole land, against the kings of Judah, against the princes thereof, against the priests thereof, and against the people of the land.

For behold, I have made you today a fortified city, an iron pillar, and bronze walls against the whole land—against the kings of Judah, against its princes, against its priests, and against the people of the land.

Et ils te feront la guerre, mais ils ne te pourront rien ; car je suis avec toi, dit l'Eternel, pour te délivrer.

Y pelearán contra ti, mas no te vencerán; porque yo soy contigo, dice Jehová, para librarte.

And they shall fight against thee; but they shall not prevail against thee; for I am with thee, saith the LORD, to deliver thee.

They will fight against you, but they will not prevail against you; for I am with you”, says the LORD, “to rescue you.”
