Paroles de Jérémie, fils de Hilkiyyahou, l'un des prêtres demeurant à Anatot, sur le territoire de Benjamin,

LAS palabras de Jeremías hijo de Hilcías, de los sacerdotes que estuvieron en Anathoth, en tierra de Benjamín.

The words of Jeremiah the son of Hilkiah, of the priests that were in Anathoth in the land of Benjamin:

à qui la parole de l'Eternel fut adressée au temps de Josias, fils d'Amon, roi de Juda, dans la treizième année de son règne,

La palabra de Jehová que fué á él en los días de Josías hijo de Amón, rey de Judá, en el año décimotercio de su reinado.

To whom the word of the LORD came in the days of Josiah the son of Amon king of Judah, in the thirteenth year of his reign.

et encore au temps de Joïakim, fils de Josias, roi de Juda, jusqu'à la fin de la onzième année de Sédécias, fils de Josias, roi de Juda, jusqu'à l'exil des habitants de Jérusalem, au cinquième mois. ?

Fué asimismo en días de Joacim hijo de Josías, rey de Judá, hasta el fin del año undécimo de Sedechîas hijo de Josías, rey de Judá, hasta la cautividad de Jerusalem en el mes quinto.

It came also in the days of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah, unto the end of the eleventh year of Zedekiah the son of Josiah king of Judah, unto the carrying away of Jerusalem captive in the fifth month.

La parole de l'Eternel me fut adressée en ces termes:

Fué pues palabra de Jehová á mí, diciendo:

Then the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

Now the LORD’s word came to me, saying,

"Avant que je t'eusse formé dans le sein de ta mère, je te connaissais; avant que tu fusses sorti de ses entrailles, je t'avais consacré, je t'avais désigné comme prophète des nations."

Antes que te formase en el vientre te conocí, y antes que salieses de la matriz te santifiqué, te dí por profeta á las gentes.

Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.

“Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you. Before you were born, I sanctified you. I have appointed you a prophet to the nations.”

Et je m'écriai: "Eh quoi! Eternel, Dieu, je ne sais point parler, car je suis un enfant!"

Y yo dije: ¡Ah! ¡ah! ¡Señor Jehová! He aquí, no sé hablar, porque soy niño.

Then said I, Ah, Lord GOD! behold, I cannot speak: for I am a child.

Then I said, “Ah, Lord GOD! Behold, I don’t know how to speak; for I am a child.”

Et l'Eternel me répondit: "Ne dis pas: Je suis un enfant. Mais tous ceux où je t'enverrai, tu iras les trouver, et tout ce que je t'ordonnerai, tu le diras.

Y díjome Jehová: No digas, soy niño; porque á todo lo que te enviaré irás tú, y dirás todo lo que te mandaré.

But the LORD said unto me, Say not, I am a child: for thou shalt go to all that I shall send thee, and whatsoever I command thee thou shalt speak.

But the LORD said to me, “Don’t say, ‘I am a child;’ for you must go to whomever I send you, and you must say whatever I command you.

Ne les crains point, car je serai avec toi pour te protéger, dit l'Eternel."

No temas delante de ellos, porque contigo soy para librarte, dice Jehová.

Be not afraid of their faces: for I am with thee to deliver thee, saith the LORD.

Don’t be afraid because of them, for I am with you to rescue you,” says the LORD.

Alors l'Eternel étendit la main et en effleura ma bouche; puis l'Eternel me dit: "Voici, je mets mes paroles dans ta bouche.

Y extendió Jehová su mano, y tocó sobre mi boca; y díjome Jehová: He aquí he puesto mis palabras en tu boca.

Then the LORD put forth his hand, and touched my mouth. And the LORD said unto me, Behold, I have put my words in thy mouth.

Then the LORD stretched out his hand and touched my mouth. Then the LORD said to me, “Behold, I have put my words in your mouth.

Vois que je te donne mission en ce jour auprès des peuples et des royaumes, pour arracher et pour démolir, pour détruire et pour renverser, pour bâtir et pour planter."

Mira que te he puesto en este día sobre gentes y sobre reinos, para arrancar y para destruir, y para arruinar y para derribar, y para edificar y para plantar.

See, I have this day set thee over the nations and over the kingdoms, to root out, and to pull down, and to destroy, and to throw down, to build, and to plant.

Behold, I have today set you over the nations and over the kingdoms, to uproot and to tear down, to destroy and to overthrow, to build and to plant.”

La parole de l'Eternel me fut adressée en ces termes "Que vois-tu, Jérémie?" Je répondis: "Je vois un rameau de l'arbre hâtif.

Y la palabra de Jehová fué á mí, diciendo: ¿Qué ves tú, Jeremías? Y dije: Yo veo una vara de almendro.

Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, Jeremiah, what seest thou? And I said, I see a rod of an almond tree.

Moreover the LORD’s word came to me, saying, “Jeremiah, what do you see?” I said, “I see a branch of an almond tree.”

Tu as bien vu, me dit l'Eternel; car je vais me hâter d'accomplir ma parole."

Y díjome Jehová: Bien has visto; porque yo apresuro mi palabra para ponerla por obra.

Then said the LORD unto me, Thou hast well seen: for I will hasten my word to perform it.

Then the LORD said to me, “You have seen well; for I watch over my word to perform it.”

La parole de l'Eternel me fut adressée une seconde fois en ces termes: "Que vois-tu?" Je répondis: "Je vois une chaudière bouillonnante, dont la face antérieure est tournée vers le Nord."

Y fué á mí palabra de Jehová segunda vez, diciendo: ¿Qué ves tú? Y dije: Yo veo una olla que hierve; y su haz está de la parte del aquilón.

And the word of the LORD came unto me the second time, saying, What seest thou? And I said, I see a seething pot; and the face thereof is toward the north.

The LORD’s word came to me the second time, saying, “What do you see?” I said, “I see a boiling cauldron; and it is tipping away from the north.”

Et l'Eternel me dit: "C'est du Nord que le malheur doit éclater sur tous les habitants du pays.

Y díjome Jehová: Del aquilón se soltará el mal sobre todos los moradores de la tierra.

Then the LORD said unto me, Out of the north an evil shall break forth upon all the inhabitants of the land.

Then the LORD said to me, “Out of the north, evil will break out on all the inhabitants of the land.

Or je vais faire appel à tous les peuples des royaumes du Nord, dit l'Eternel, et ils viendront et établiront chacun son siège à l'entrée des portes de Jérusalem, campés tout autour de ses remparts et de toutes les villes de Juda.

Porque he aquí que yo convoco todas las familias de los reinos del aquilón, dice Jehová; y vendrán, y pondrá cada uno su asiento á la entrada de las puertas de Jerusalem, y junto á todos sus muros en derredor, y en todas las ciudades de Judá.

For, lo, I will call all the families of the kingdoms of the north, saith the LORD; and they shall come, and they shall set every one his throne at the entering of the gates of Jerusalem, and against all the walls thereof round about, and against all the cities of Judah.

For behold, I will call all the families of the kingdoms of the north,” says the LORD. “They will come, and they will each set his throne at the entrance of the gates of Jerusalem, and against all its walls all around, and against all the cities of Judah.

Et je ferai valoir mes griefs contre eux à propos de tous leurs méfaits; car ils m'ont délaissé pour encenser des divinités étrangères et se prosterner devant l'oeuvre de leurs mains.

Y á causa de toda su malicia, proferiré mis juicios contra los que me dejaron, é incensaron á dioses extraños, y á hechuras de sus manos se encorvaron.

And I will utter my judgments against them touching all their wickedness, who have forsaken me, and have burned incense unto other gods, and worshipped the works of their own hands.

Quant à toi, tu ceindras tes reins, tu iras leur dire tout ce que je te prescrirai: ne tremble pas à cause d'eux ou, moi, je te ferai trembler devant eux.

Tú pues, ciñe tus lomos, y te levantarás, y les hablarás todo lo que te mandaré: no temas delante de ellos, porque no te haga yo quebrantar delante de ellos.

Thou therefore gird up thy loins, and arise, and speak unto them all that I command thee: be not dismayed at their faces, lest I confound thee before them.

“You therefore put your belt on your waist, arise, and say to them all that I command you. Don’t be dismayed at them, lest I dismay you before them.

Or, dès aujourd'hui, je fais de toi une ville forte, une colonne de fer, une muraille d'airain à l'encontre de tout le pays, des rois de Juda, de ses princes, de ses prêtres et du peuple de la contrée.

Porque he aquí que yo te he puesto en este día como ciudad fortalecida, y como columna de hierro, y como muro de bronce sobre toda la tierra, á los reyes de Judá, á sus príncipes, á sus sacerdotes, y al pueblo de la tierra.

For, behold, I have made thee this day a defenced city, and an iron pillar, and brasen walls against the whole land, against the kings of Judah, against the princes thereof, against the priests thereof, and against the people of the land.

For behold, I have made you today a fortified city, an iron pillar, and bronze walls against the whole land—against the kings of Judah, against its princes, against its priests, and against the people of the land.

Et s'ils te combattent, ils ne prévaudront pas contre toi, car je serai avec toi, dit l'Eternel, pour te protéger."

Y pelearán contra ti, mas no te vencerán; porque yo soy contigo, dice Jehová, para librarte.

And they shall fight against thee; but they shall not prevail against thee; for I am with thee, saith the LORD, to deliver thee.

They will fight against you, but they will not prevail against you; for I am with you”, says the LORD, “to rescue you.”
