Jeremías 20

Alors Pashur, fils d’Immer Sacrificateur, qui était prévôt et conducteur dans la maison de l’Eternel, entendit Jérémie qui prophétisait ces choses.

Y PASHUR sacerdote, hijo de Immer, que presidía por príncipe en la casa de Jehová, oyó á Jeremías que profetizaba estas palabras.

Now Pashur the son of Immer the priest, who was also chief governor in the house of the LORD, heard that Jeremiah prophesied these things.

Now Pashhur, the son of Immer the priest, who was chief officer in the LORD’s house, heard Jeremiah prophesying these things.

Et Pashur frappa le Prophète Jérémie, et le mit dans la prison qui est à la haute porte de Benjamin, en la maison de l’Eternel.

E hirió Pashur á Jeremías profeta, y púsole en el cepo que estaba á la puerta de Benjamín en lo alto, la cual conducía á la casa de Jehová.

Then Pashur smote Jeremiah the prophet, and put him in the stocks that were in the high gate of Benjamin, which was by the house of the LORD.

Then Pashhur struck Jeremiah the prophet and put him in the stocks that were in the upper gate of Benjamin, which was in the LORD’s house.

Et il arriva dès le lendemain, que Pashur tira Jérémie hors de la prison, et Jérémie lui dit : l’Eternel n’a pas appelé ton Nom Pashur, mais Magor-missabib.

Y el día siguiente Pashur sacó á Jeremías del cepo. Díjole entonces Jeremías: Jehová no ha llamado tu nombre Pashur, sino Magor-missabib.

And it came to pass on the morrow, that Pashur brought forth Jeremiah out of the stocks. Then said Jeremiah unto him, The LORD hath not called thy name Pashur, but Magor-missabib.

On the next day, Pashhur released Jeremiah out of the stocks. Then Jeremiah said to him, “The LORD has not called your name Pashhur, but Magormissabib.

Car ainsi a dit l’Eternel : voici, je vais te livrer à la frayeur, toi, et tous tes amis, qui tomberont par l’épée de leurs ennemis, et tes yeux le verront ; je livrerai tous ceux de Juda entre les mains du Roi de Babylone, qui les transportera à Babylone, et les frappera avec l’épée.

Porque así ha dicho Jehová: He aquí yo te pondré en espanto á ti, y á todos los que bien te quieren, y caerán por el cuchillo de sus enemigos, y tus ojos lo verán: y á todo Judá entregaré en mano del rey de Babilonia, y los trasportará á Babilonia, y herirálos á cuchillo.

For thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will make thee a terror to thyself, and to all thy friends: and they shall fall by the sword of their enemies, and thine eyes shall behold it: and I will give all Judah into the hand of the king of Babylon, and he shall carry them captive into Babylon, and shall slay them with the sword.

For the LORD says, ‘Behold, I will make you a terror to yourself and to all your friends. They will fall by the sword of their enemies, and your eyes will see it. I will give all Judah into the hand of the king of Babylon, and he will carry them captive to Babylon, and will kill them with the sword.

Et je livrerai toutes les richesses de cette ville, et tout son travail, et tout ce qu’elle a de précieux, je livrerai, dis-je, tous les trésors des Rois de Juda, entre les mains de leurs ennemis, qui les pilleront, les enlèveront, et les emporteront à Babylone.

Entregaré asimismo toda la sustancia de esta ciudad, y todo su trabajo, y todas sus cosas preciosas; y daré todos los tesoros de los reyes de Judá en manos de sus enemigos, y los saquearán, y los tomarán, y llevaránlos á Babilonia.

Moreover I will deliver all the strength of this city, and all the labours thereof, and all the precious things thereof, and all the treasures of the kings of Judah will I give into the hand of their enemies, which shall spoil them, and take them, and carry them to Babylon.

Moreover I will give all the riches of this city, and all its gains, and all its precious things, yes, I will give all the treasures of the kings of Judah into the hand of their enemies. They will make them captives, take them, and carry them to Babylon.

Et toi, Pashur, et tous les habitants de ta maison, vous irez en captivité, tu iras à Babylone, tu y mourras, et y seras enseveli, toi et tous tes amis, auxquels tu as prophétisé le mensonge.

Y tú, Pashur, y todos los moradores de tu casa iréis cautivos, y entrarás en Babilonia, y allí morirás, y serás allá enterrado, tú, y todos los que bien te quieren, á los cuales has profetizado con mentira.

And thou, Pashur, and all that dwell in thine house shall go into captivity: and thou shalt come to Babylon, and there thou shalt die, and shalt be buried there, thou, and all thy friends, to whom thou hast prophesied lies.

You, Pashhur, and all who dwell in your house will go into captivity. You will come to Babylon, and there you will die, and there you will be buried, you, and all your friends, to whom you have prophesied falsely.’”

Ô Eternel ! tu m’as sollicité, et j’ai été attiré ; tu as été plus fort que moi, et tu as eu le dessus ; je suis un objet de moquerie tout le jour, chacun se moque de moi.

Alucinásteme, oh Jehová, y hállome frustrado: más fuerte fuiste que yo, y vencísteme: cada día he sido escarnecido; cada cual se burla de mí.

O LORD, thou hast deceived me, and I was deceived: thou art stronger than I, and hast prevailed: I am in derision daily, every one mocketh me.

LORD, you have persuaded me, and I was persuaded. You are stronger than I, and have prevailed. I have become a laughingstock all day. Everyone mocks me.

Car depuis que je parle je n’ai fait que jeter des cris, que crier violence et pillerie, parce que la parole de l’Eternel m’est tournée en opprobre et en moquerie tout le jour.

Porque desde que hablo, doy voces, grito, Violencia y destrucción: porque la palabra de Jehová me ha sido para afrenta y escarnio cada día.

For since I spake, I cried out, I cried violence and spoil; because the word of the LORD was made a reproach unto me, and a derision, daily.

For as often as I speak, I cry out; I cry, “Violence and destruction!” because the LORD’s word has been made a reproach to me, and a derision, all day.

C’est pourquoi j’ai dit : je ne ferai plus mention de lui, et je ne parlerai plus en son Nom ; mais il y a eu dans mon coeur comme un feu ardent, renfermé dans mes os ; je suis las de le porter, et je n’en puis plus.

Y dije: No me acordaré más de él, ni hablaré más en su nombre: empero fué en mi corazón como un fuego ardiente metido en mis huesos, trabajé por sufrirlo, y no pude.

Then I said, I will not make mention of him, nor speak any more in his name. But his word was in mine heart as a burning fire shut up in my bones, and I was weary with forbearing, and I could not stay.

If I say that I will not make mention of him, or speak any more in his name, then there is in my heart as it were a burning fire shut up in my bones. I am weary with holding it in. I can’t.

Car j’ai ouï les insultes de plusieurs, la frayeur m’a saisi de tous côtés. Rapportez, disent-ils, et nous le rapporterons. Tous ceux qui ont paix avec moi épient si je bronche, et disent : peut- être qu’il sera abusé ; alors nous aurons le dessus, et nous nous vengerons de lui.

Porque oí la murmuración de muchos, temor de todas partes: Denunciad, y denunciaremos. Todos mis amigos miraban si claudicaría. Quizá se engañará, decían, y prevaleceremos contra él, y tomaremos de él nuestra venganza.

For I heard the defaming of many, fear on every side. Report, say they, and we will report it. All my familiars watched for my halting, saying, Peradventure he will be enticed, and we shall prevail against him, and we shall take our revenge on him.

For I have heard the defaming of many: “Terror on every side! Denounce, and we will denounce him!” say all my familiar friends, those who watch for my fall. “Perhaps he will be persuaded, and we will prevail against him, and we will take our revenge on him.”

Mais l’Eternel est avec moi comme un homme fort et terrible ; c’est pourquoi ceux qui me persécutent seront renversés, ils n’auront point le dessus, ils seront honteux ; car ils n’ont pas été prudents ; ce sera une confusion éternelle, qui ne s’oubliera jamais.

Mas Jehová está conmigo como poderoso gigante; por tanto los que me persiguen tropezarán, y no prevalecerán; serán avergonzados en gran manera, porque no prosperarán; tendrán perpetua confusión que jamás será olvidada.

But the LORD is with me as a mighty terrible one: therefore my persecutors shall stumble, and they shall not prevail: they shall be greatly ashamed; for they shall not prosper: their everlasting confusion shall never be forgotten.

But the LORD is with me as an awesome mighty one. Therefore my persecutors will stumble, and they won’t prevail. They will be utterly disappointed because they have not dealt wisely, even with an everlasting dishonor which will never be forgotten.

C’est pourquoi, Eternel des armées, qui sondes les justes, qui vois les reins et le coeur, fais que je voie la vengeance que tu en feras ; car je t’ai découvert ma cause.

Oh Jehová de los ejércitos, que sondas los justos, que ves los riñones y el corazón, vea yo tu venganza de ellos; porque á ti he descubierto mi causa.

But, O LORD of hosts, that triest the righteous, and seest the reins and the heart, let me see thy vengeance on them: for unto thee have I opened my cause.

But the LORD of Armies, who tests the righteous, who sees the heart and the mind, let me see your vengeance on them, for I have revealed my cause to you.

Chantez à l’Eternel, louez l’Eternel ; car il a délivré l’âme des pauvres de la main des méchants.

Cantad á Jehová, load á Jehová: porque librado ha el alma del pobre de mano de los malignos.

Sing unto the LORD, praise ye the LORD: for he hath delivered the soul of the poor from the hand of evildoers.

Sing to the LORD! Praise the LORD, for he has delivered the soul of the needy from the hand of evildoers.

Maudit soit le jour auquel je naquis ; que le jour auquel ma mère m’enfanta ne soit point béni.

Maldito el día en que nací: el día en que mi madre me parió no sea bendito.

Cursed be the day wherein I was born: let not the day wherein my mother bare me be blessed.

Cursed is the day in which I was born. Don’t let the day in which my mother bore me be blessed.

Maudit soit l’homme qui apporta de bonnes nouvelles à mon père, en lui disant : un enfant mâle t’est né ; et qui le réjouit si bien.

Maldito el hombre que dió nuevas á mi padre, diciendo, Hijo varón te ha nacido, haciéndole alegrarse así mucho.

Cursed be the man who brought tidings to my father, saying, A man child is born unto thee; making him very glad.

Cursed is the man who brought news to my father, saying, “A boy is born to you,” making him very glad.

Que cet homme-là soit comme les villes que l’Eternel a renversées sans s’en repentir, qu’il entende le cri au matin, et le retentissement bruyant au temps du Midi.

Y sea el tal hombre como las ciudades que asoló Jehová, y no se arrepintió: y oiga gritos de mañana, y voces al medio día;

And let that man be as the cities which the LORD overthrew, and repented not: and let him hear the cry in the morning, and the shouting at noontide;

Let that man be as the cities which the LORD overthrew, and didn’t repent. Let him hear a cry in the morning, and shouting at noontime,

Que ne m’a-t-on fait mourir dans le sein de ma mère ? pourquoi ma mère ne m’a-t-elle été mon sépulcre, et pourquoi son sein n’a-t-il conçu sans jamais enfanter.

Porque no me mató en el vientre, y mi madre me hubiera sido mi sepulcro, y su vientre concebimiento perpetuo.

Because he slew me not from the womb; or that my mother might have been my grave, and her womb to be always great with me.

because he didn’t kill me from the womb. So my mother would have been my grave, and her womb always great.

Pourquoi suis-je né pour ne voir que peine et qu’ennui, et afin que mes jours fussent consumés avec honte ?

¿Para qué salí del vientre? ¿para ver trabajo y dolor, y que mis días se gastasen en afrenta?

Wherefore came I forth out of the womb to see labour and sorrow, that my days should be consumed with shame?

Why did I come out of the womb to see labor and sorrow, that my days should be consumed with shame?
