Jeremías 20

Or Pashur, figliuolo d’Immer, sacerdote e capo-soprintendente della casa dell’Eterno, udì Geremia che profetizzava queste cose.

Y PASHUR sacerdote, hijo de Immer, que presidía por príncipe en la casa de Jehová, oyó á Jeremías que profetizaba estas palabras.

Now Pashur the son of Immer the priest, who was also chief governor in the house of the LORD, heard that Jeremiah prophesied these things.

Now Pashhur, the son of Immer the priest, who was chief officer in the LORD’s house, heard Jeremiah prophesying these things.

E Pashur percosse il profeta Geremia, e lo mise nei ceppi nella prigione ch’era nella porta superiore di Beniamino, nella casa dell’Eterno.

E hirió Pashur á Jeremías profeta, y púsole en el cepo que estaba á la puerta de Benjamín en lo alto, la cual conducía á la casa de Jehová.

Then Pashur smote Jeremiah the prophet, and put him in the stocks that were in the high gate of Benjamin, which was by the house of the LORD.

Then Pashhur struck Jeremiah the prophet and put him in the stocks that were in the upper gate of Benjamin, which was in the LORD’s house.

E il giorno seguente, Pashur fe’ uscire Geremia di carcere. E Geremia gli disse: “L’Eterno non ti chiama più Pashur, ma Magor-Missabib.

Y el día siguiente Pashur sacó á Jeremías del cepo. Díjole entonces Jeremías: Jehová no ha llamado tu nombre Pashur, sino Magor-missabib.

And it came to pass on the morrow, that Pashur brought forth Jeremiah out of the stocks. Then said Jeremiah unto him, The LORD hath not called thy name Pashur, but Magor-missabib.

On the next day, Pashhur released Jeremiah out of the stocks. Then Jeremiah said to him, “The LORD has not called your name Pashhur, but Magormissabib.

Poiché così parla l’Eterno: Io ti renderò un oggetto di terrore a te stesso e a tutti i tuoi amici; essi cadranno per la spada dei loro nemici, e i tuoi occhi lo vedranno; e darò tutto Giuda in mano del re di Babilonia, che li menerà in cattività in Babilonia, e li colpirà con la spada.

Porque así ha dicho Jehová: He aquí yo te pondré en espanto á ti, y á todos los que bien te quieren, y caerán por el cuchillo de sus enemigos, y tus ojos lo verán: y á todo Judá entregaré en mano del rey de Babilonia, y los trasportará á Babilonia, y herirálos á cuchillo.

For thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will make thee a terror to thyself, and to all thy friends: and they shall fall by the sword of their enemies, and thine eyes shall behold it: and I will give all Judah into the hand of the king of Babylon, and he shall carry them captive into Babylon, and shall slay them with the sword.

For the LORD says, ‘Behold, I will make you a terror to yourself and to all your friends. They will fall by the sword of their enemies, and your eyes will see it. I will give all Judah into the hand of the king of Babylon, and he will carry them captive to Babylon, and will kill them with the sword.

E darò tutte le ricchezze di questa città e tutto il suo guadagno e tutte le sue cose preziose, darò tutti i tesori dei re di Giuda in mano dei loro nemici che ne faranno lor preda, li piglieranno, e li porteranno via a Babilonia.

Entregaré asimismo toda la sustancia de esta ciudad, y todo su trabajo, y todas sus cosas preciosas; y daré todos los tesoros de los reyes de Judá en manos de sus enemigos, y los saquearán, y los tomarán, y llevaránlos á Babilonia.

Moreover I will deliver all the strength of this city, and all the labours thereof, and all the precious things thereof, and all the treasures of the kings of Judah will I give into the hand of their enemies, which shall spoil them, and take them, and carry them to Babylon.

Moreover I will give all the riches of this city, and all its gains, and all its precious things, yes, I will give all the treasures of the kings of Judah into the hand of their enemies. They will make them captives, take them, and carry them to Babylon.

E tu, Pashur, e tutti quelli che abitano in casa tua, andrete in cattività; tu andrai a Babilonia, e quivi morrai, e quivi sarai sepolto, tu, con tutti i tuoi amici, ai quali hai profetizzato menzogne”.

Y tú, Pashur, y todos los moradores de tu casa iréis cautivos, y entrarás en Babilonia, y allí morirás, y serás allá enterrado, tú, y todos los que bien te quieren, á los cuales has profetizado con mentira.

And thou, Pashur, and all that dwell in thine house shall go into captivity: and thou shalt come to Babylon, and there thou shalt die, and shalt be buried there, thou, and all thy friends, to whom thou hast prophesied lies.

You, Pashhur, and all who dwell in your house will go into captivity. You will come to Babylon, and there you will die, and there you will be buried, you, and all your friends, to whom you have prophesied falsely.’”

Tu m’hai persuaso, o Eterno, e io mi son lasciato persuadere, tu m’hai fatto forza, e m’hai vinto; io son diventato ogni giorno un oggetto di scherno, ognuno si fa beffe di me.

Alucinásteme, oh Jehová, y hállome frustrado: más fuerte fuiste que yo, y vencísteme: cada día he sido escarnecido; cada cual se burla de mí.

O LORD, thou hast deceived me, and I was deceived: thou art stronger than I, and hast prevailed: I am in derision daily, every one mocketh me.

LORD, you have persuaded me, and I was persuaded. You are stronger than I, and have prevailed. I have become a laughingstock all day. Everyone mocks me.

Poiché ogni volta ch’io parlo, grido, grido: “Violenza e saccheggio!” Sì, la parola dell’Eterno è per me un obbrobrio, uno scherno d’ogni giorno.

Porque desde que hablo, doy voces, grito, Violencia y destrucción: porque la palabra de Jehová me ha sido para afrenta y escarnio cada día.

For since I spake, I cried out, I cried violence and spoil; because the word of the LORD was made a reproach unto me, and a derision, daily.

For as often as I speak, I cry out; I cry, “Violence and destruction!” because the LORD’s word has been made a reproach to me, and a derision, all day.

E s’io dico: “Io non lo mentoverò più, non parlerò più nel suo nome”, v’è nel mio cuore come un fuoco ardente, chiuso nelle mie ossa; e mi sforzo di contenerlo, ma non posso.

Y dije: No me acordaré más de él, ni hablaré más en su nombre: empero fué en mi corazón como un fuego ardiente metido en mis huesos, trabajé por sufrirlo, y no pude.

Then I said, I will not make mention of him, nor speak any more in his name. But his word was in mine heart as a burning fire shut up in my bones, and I was weary with forbearing, and I could not stay.

If I say that I will not make mention of him, or speak any more in his name, then there is in my heart as it were a burning fire shut up in my bones. I am weary with holding it in. I can’t.

Poiché odo le diffamazioni di molti, lo spavento mi vien da ogni lato: “Denunziatelo, e noi lo denunzieremo”. Tutti quelli coi quali vivevo in pace spiano s’io inciampo, e dicono: “Forse si lascerà sedurre, e noi prevarremo contro di lui, e ci vendicheremo di lui”.

Porque oí la murmuración de muchos, temor de todas partes: Denunciad, y denunciaremos. Todos mis amigos miraban si claudicaría. Quizá se engañará, decían, y prevaleceremos contra él, y tomaremos de él nuestra venganza.

For I heard the defaming of many, fear on every side. Report, say they, and we will report it. All my familiars watched for my halting, saying, Peradventure he will be enticed, and we shall prevail against him, and we shall take our revenge on him.

For I have heard the defaming of many: “Terror on every side! Denounce, and we will denounce him!” say all my familiar friends, those who watch for my fall. “Perhaps he will be persuaded, and we will prevail against him, and we will take our revenge on him.”

Ma l’Eterno è meco, come un potente eroe; perciò i miei persecutori inciamperanno e non prevarranno; saranno coperti di confusione, perché non sono riusciti; l’onta loro sarà eterna, non sarà dimenticata.

Mas Jehová está conmigo como poderoso gigante; por tanto los que me persiguen tropezarán, y no prevalecerán; serán avergonzados en gran manera, porque no prosperarán; tendrán perpetua confusión que jamás será olvidada.

But the LORD is with me as a mighty terrible one: therefore my persecutors shall stumble, and they shall not prevail: they shall be greatly ashamed; for they shall not prosper: their everlasting confusion shall never be forgotten.

But the LORD is with me as an awesome mighty one. Therefore my persecutors will stumble, and they won’t prevail. They will be utterly disappointed because they have not dealt wisely, even with an everlasting dishonor which will never be forgotten.

Ma, o Eterno degli eserciti, che provi il giusto, che vedi le reni e il cuore, io vedrò, sì, la vendetta che prenderai di loro, poiché a te io affido la mia causa!

Oh Jehová de los ejércitos, que sondas los justos, que ves los riñones y el corazón, vea yo tu venganza de ellos; porque á ti he descubierto mi causa.

But, O LORD of hosts, that triest the righteous, and seest the reins and the heart, let me see thy vengeance on them: for unto thee have I opened my cause.

But the LORD of Armies, who tests the righteous, who sees the heart and the mind, let me see your vengeance on them, for I have revealed my cause to you.

Cantate all’Eterno, lodate l’Eterno, poich’egli libera l’anima dell’infelice dalla mano dei malfattori!

Cantad á Jehová, load á Jehová: porque librado ha el alma del pobre de mano de los malignos.

Sing unto the LORD, praise ye the LORD: for he hath delivered the soul of the poor from the hand of evildoers.

Sing to the LORD! Praise the LORD, for he has delivered the soul of the needy from the hand of evildoers.

Maledetto sia il giorno ch’io nacqui! Il giorno che mia madre mi partorì non sia benedetto!

Maldito el día en que nací: el día en que mi madre me parió no sea bendito.

Cursed be the day wherein I was born: let not the day wherein my mother bare me be blessed.

Cursed is the day in which I was born. Don’t let the day in which my mother bore me be blessed.

Maledetto sia l’uomo che portò a mio padre la notizia: “T’è nato un maschio”, e lo colmò di gioia!

Maldito el hombre que dió nuevas á mi padre, diciendo, Hijo varón te ha nacido, haciéndole alegrarse así mucho.

Cursed be the man who brought tidings to my father, saying, A man child is born unto thee; making him very glad.

Cursed is the man who brought news to my father, saying, “A boy is born to you,” making him very glad.

Sia quell’uomo come le città che l’Eterno ha distrutte senza pentirsene! Oda egli delle grida il mattino, e clamori di guerra sul mezzodì;

Y sea el tal hombre como las ciudades que asoló Jehová, y no se arrepintió: y oiga gritos de mañana, y voces al medio día;

And let that man be as the cities which the LORD overthrew, and repented not: and let him hear the cry in the morning, and the shouting at noontide;

Let that man be as the cities which the LORD overthrew, and didn’t repent. Let him hear a cry in the morning, and shouting at noontime,

poich’egli non m’ha fatto morire fin dal seno materno. Così mia madre sarebbe stata la mia tomba, e la sua gravidanza, senza fine.

Porque no me mató en el vientre, y mi madre me hubiera sido mi sepulcro, y su vientre concebimiento perpetuo.

Because he slew me not from the womb; or that my mother might have been my grave, and her womb to be always great with me.

because he didn’t kill me from the womb. So my mother would have been my grave, and her womb always great.

Perché son io uscito dal seno materno per vedere tormento e dolore, e per finire i miei giorni nella vergogna?

¿Para qué salí del vientre? ¿para ver trabajo y dolor, y que mis días se gastasen en afrenta?

Wherefore came I forth out of the womb to see labour and sorrow, that my days should be consumed with shame?

Why did I come out of the womb to see labor and sorrow, that my days should be consumed with shame?
