Jeremías 21

La parole qui fut adressée à Jérémie de par l’Eternel, lorsque le Roi Sédécias envoya vers lui Pashur fils de Malkija, et Sophonie fils de Mahaséja Sacrificateur, pour lui dire :

PALABRA que fué á Jeremías de Jehová, cuando el rey Sedechîas envió á él á Pashur hijo de Malchîas, y á Sephanías sacerdote, hijo de Maasías, que le dijesen:

The word which came unto Jeremiah from the LORD, when king Zedekiah sent unto him Pashur the son of Melchiah, and Zephaniah the son of Maaseiah the priest, saying,

The word which came to Jeremiah from the LORD, when King Zedekiah sent to him Pashhur the son of Malchijah, and Zephaniah the son of Maaseiah, the priest, saying,

Enquiers-toi maintenant de l’Eternel pour nous ; car Nébucadnetsar Roi de Babylone combat contre nous ; peut-être que l’Eternel agira pour nous selon toutes ses merveilles, et le fera retirer de nous.

Pregunta ahora por nosotros á Jehová; porque Nabucodonosor rey de Babilonia hace guerra contra nosotros: quizá Jehová hará con nosotros según todas sus maravillas, y aquél se irá de sobre nosotros.

Enquire, I pray thee, of the LORD for us; for Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon maketh war against us; if so be that the LORD will deal with us according to all his wondrous works, that he may go up from us.

“Please inquire of the LORD for us; for Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon makes war against us. Perhaps the LORD will deal with us according to all his wondrous works, that he may withdraw from us.”

Et Jérémie leur dit : vous direz ainsi à Sédécias :

Y Jeremías les dijo: Diréis así á Sedechîas:

Then said Jeremiah unto them, Thus shall ye say to Zedekiah:

Then Jeremiah said to them, “Tell Zedekiah:

Ainsi a dit l’Eternel, le Dieu d’Israël : voici, je m’en vais faire retourner de dehors la muraille les instruments de guerre qui sont en vos mains, avec lesquels vous combattez contre le Roi de Babylone et contre les Caldéens qui vous assiègent, et je les ramasserai au milieu de cette ville.

Así ha dicho Jehová Dios de Israel: He aquí yo vuelvo las armas de guerra que están en vuestras manos, y con que vosotros peleáis con el rey de Babilonia; y los Caldeos que os tienen cercados fuera de la muralla, yo los juntaré en medio de esta ciudad.

Thus saith the LORD God of Israel; Behold, I will turn back the weapons of war that are in your hands, wherewith ye fight against the king of Babylon, and against the Chaldeans, which besiege you without the walls, and I will assemble them into the midst of this city.

‘The LORD, the God of Israel says, “Behold, I will turn back the weapons of war that are in your hands, with which you fight against the king of Babylon, and against the Chaldeans who besiege you outside the walls; and I will gather them into the middle of this city.

Et je combattrai contre vous avec une main étendue, et avec un bras puissant, avec colère, avec ardeur, et avec une grande indignation.

Y pelearé contra vosotros con mano alzada y con brazo fuerte, y con furor, y enojo, é ira grande:

And I myself will fight against you with an outstretched hand and with a strong arm, even in anger, and in fury, and in great wrath.

Et je frapperai les habitants de cette ville, les hommes, et les bêtes ; et ils mourront d’une grande mortalité.

Y heriré los moradores de esta ciudad; y los hombres y las bestias morirán de pestilencia grande.

And I will smite the inhabitants of this city, both man and beast: they shall die of a great pestilence.

I will strike the inhabitants of this city, both man and animal. They will die of a great pestilence.

Et après cela, dit l’Eternel, je livrerai Sédécias Roi de Juda, et ses serviteurs, et le peuple, et ceux qui seront demeurés de reste en cette ville de la mortalité, de l’épée, et de la famine, en la main de Nébucadnetsar Roi de Babylone, et en la main de leurs ennemis, et en la main de ceux qui cherchent leur vie ; et il les frappera au tranchant de l’épée, il ne les épargnera point, il n’en aura point de compassion, il n’en aura point de pitié.

Y después, así dice Jehová, entregaré á Sedechîas rey de Judá, y á sus criados, y al pueblo, y á los que quedaren en la ciudad de la pestilencia, y del cuchillo, y del hambre, en mano de Nabucodonosor rey de Babilonia, y en mano de sus enemigos, y en mano de los que buscan sus almas; y él los herirá á filo de espada; no los perdonará, ni los recibirá á merced, ni tendrá de ellos misericordia.

And afterward, saith the LORD, I will deliver Zedekiah king of Judah, and his servants, and the people, and such as are left in this city from the pestilence, from the sword, and from the famine, into the hand of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon, and into the hand of their enemies, and into the hand of those that seek their life: and he shall smite them with the edge of the sword; he shall not spare them, neither have pity, nor have mercy.

Afterward,” says the LORD, “I will deliver Zedekiah king of Judah, his servants, and the people, even those who are left in this city from the pestilence, from the sword, and from the famine, into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, and into the hand of their enemies, and into the hand of those who seek their life. He will strike them with the edge of the sword. He will not spare them, have pity, or have mercy.”’

Tu diras aussi à ce peuple : ainsi a dit l’Eternel : voici, je mets devant vous le chemin de la vie, et le chemin de la mort.

Y á este pueblo dirás: Así ha dicho Jehová: He aquí pongo delante de vosotros camino de vida y camino de muerte.

And unto this people thou shalt say, Thus saith the LORD; Behold, I set before you the way of life, and the way of death.

“You shall say to this people, ‘The LORD says: “Behold, I set before you the way of life and the way of death.

Quiconque se tiendra dans cette ville mourra par l’épée, ou par la famine, ou par la mortalité, mais celui qui en sortira, et se rendra aux Caldéens qui vous assiègent, vivra, et sa vie lui sera pour butin.

El que se quedare en esta ciudad, morirá á cuchillo, ó de hambre, ó pestilencia: mas el que saliere, y se pasare á los Caldeos que os tienen cercados, vivirá, y su vida le será por despojo.

He that abideth in this city shall die by the sword, and by the famine, and by the pestilence: but he that goeth out, and falleth to the Chaldeans that besiege you, he shall live, and his life shall be unto him for a prey.

He who remains in this city will die by the sword, by the famine, and by the pestilence, but he who goes out and passes over to the Chaldeans who besiege you, he will live, and he will escape with his life.

Car j’ai dressé ma face en mal et non en bien contre cette ville, dit l’Eternel, elle sera livrée en la main du Roi de Babylone, et il la brûlera par le feu.

Porque mi rostro he puesto contra esta ciudad para mal, y no para bien, dice Jehová: en mano del rey de Babilonia será entregada, y quemarála á fuego.

For I have set my face against this city for evil, and not for good, saith the LORD: it shall be given into the hand of the king of Babylon, and he shall burn it with fire.

For I have set my face on this city for evil, and not for good,” says the LORD. “It will be given into the hand of the king of Babylon, and he will burn it with fire.”’

Et quant à la maison du Roi de Juda, écoutez la parole de l’Eternel.

Y á la casa del rey de Judá dirás: Oid palabra de Jehová.

And touching the house of the king of Judah, say, Hear ye the word of the LORD;

“Concerning the house of the king of Judah, hear the LORD’s word:

Maison de David, ainsi a dit l’Eternel : faites justice dès le matin, et délivrez celui qui aura été pillé, d’entre les mains de celui qui lui fait tort, de peur que ma fureur ne sorte comme un feu, et qu’elle ne s’embrase, et qu’il n’y ait personne qui l’éteigne, à cause de la malice de vos actions.

Casa de David, así dijo Jehová: Juzgad de mañana juicio, y librad al oprimido de mano del opresor; porque mi ira no salga como fuego, y se encienda, y no haya quien apague, por la maldad de vuestras obras.

O house of David, thus saith the LORD; Execute judgment in the morning, and deliver him that is spoiled out of the hand of the oppressor, lest my fury go out like fire, and burn that none can quench it, because of the evil of your doings.

House of David, the LORD says, ‘Execute justice in the morning, and deliver him who is robbed out of the hand of the oppressor, lest my wrath go out like fire, and burn so that no one can quench it, because of the evil of your doings.

Voici, j’en veux à toi, qui habites dans la vallée, et qui es le rocher du plat pays, dit l’Eternel ; à vous qui dites : qui est-ce qui descendra contre nous, et qui entrera dans nos demeures ?

He aquí yo contra ti, moradora del valle de la piedra de la llanura, dice Jehová: los que decís: ¿Quién subirá contra nosotros? ¿y quién entrará en nuestras moradas?

Behold, I am against thee, O inhabitant of the valley, and rock of the plain, saith the LORD; which say, Who shall come down against us? or who shall enter into our habitations?

Behold, I am against you, O inhabitant of the valley, and of the rock of the plain,’ says the LORD. ‘You that say, “Who would come down against us?” or, “Who would enter into our homes?”

Et je vous punirai selon le fruit de vos actions, dit l’Eternel ; et j’allumerai le feu dans sa forêt, lequel consumera tout ce qui est à l’entour d’elle.

Yo os visitaré conforme al fruto de vuestras obras, dice Jehová, y haré encender fuego en su breña, y consumirá todo lo que está alrededor de ella.

But I will punish you according to the fruit of your doings, saith the LORD: and I will kindle a fire in the forest thereof, and it shall devour all things round about it.

I will punish you according to the fruit of your doings,’ says the LORD; ‘and I will kindle a fire in her forest, and it will devour all that is around her.’”
