Jeremías 22

¡Ah!, no lloréis al difunto rey Josías, ni hagáis por él duelo; llorad sí por el que se va, por Joacaz; que no volverá ya del cautiverio, ni verá más la tierra de su nacimiento .

No lloréis al muerto, ni de él os condolezcáis: llorad amargamente por el que va; porque no volverá jamás, ni verá la tierra donde nació.

Weep ye not for the dead, neither bemoan him: but weep sore for him that goeth away: for he shall return no more, nor see his native country.

Don’t weep for the dead. Don’t bemoan him; but weep bitterly for him who goes away, for he will return no more, and not see his native country.
