Jeremías 22

¡Pero no es la belleza del palacio lo que hace la grandeza del rey! ¿Por qué reinó tanto tiempo tu padre Josías? Porque fue justo e imparcial en todos sus actos. Por eso lo bendijo Dios.

¿Reinarás porque te cercas de cedro? ¿no comió y bebió tu padre, é hizo juicio y justicia, y entonces le fué bien?

Shalt thou reign, because thou closest thyself in cedar? did not thy father eat and drink, and do judgment and justice, and then it was well with him?

“Should you reign because you strive to excel in cedar? Didn’t your father eat and drink, and do justice and righteousness? Then it was well with him.
