Jeremías 22

Io ti ho parlato nelle tue prosperità; ma tu hai detto: Io non ascolterò; questa è stata la tua usanza fin dalla tua fanciullezza, che tu non hai giammai ascoltata la mia voce.

Hete hablado en tus prosperidades; mas dijiste: No oiré. Este fué tu camino desde tu juventud, que nunca oiste mi voz.

I spake unto thee in thy prosperity; but thou saidst, I will not hear. This hath been thy manner from thy youth, that thou obeyedst not my voice.

I spoke to you in your prosperity, but you said, ‘I will not listen.’ This has been your way from your youth, that you didn’t obey my voice.
