Assim diz o Senhor: “Vá ao palácio real e, na presença do rei, anuncie esta mensagem:
ASÍ dijo Jehová: Desciende á la casa del rey de Judá, y habla allí esta palabra,
Thus saith the LORD; Go down to the house of the king of Judah, and speak there this word,
The LORD said, “Go down to the house of the king of Judah, and speak this word there:
‘Escute bem as palavras do Senhor, ó rei de Judá, que está assentado no trono de Davi! Escutem todos vocês, servos do rei! Escute você também, povo que passa por estas portas’ ”.
Y di: Oye palabra de Jehová, oh rey de Judá que estás sentado sobre el trono de David, tú, y tus criados, y tu pueblo que entran por estas puertas.
And say, Hear the word of the LORD, O king of Judah, that sittest upon the throne of David, thou, and thy servants, and thy people that enter in by these gates:
‘Hear the LORD’s word, king of Judah, who sits on David’s throne—you, your servants, and your people who enter in by these gates.
Assim diz o Senhor: “Sejam honestos e justos! Não deixem o pobre ser explorado pelo rico! Não maltratem os estrangeiros, cuidem dos órfãos e das viúvas! Parem imediatamente de derramar sangue inocente neste lugar!
Así ha dicho Jehová: Haced juicio y justicia, y librad al oprimido de mano del opresor, y no engañéis ni robéis al extranjero, ni al huérfano, ni á la viuda, ni derraméis sangre inocente en este lugar.
Thus saith the LORD; Execute ye judgment and righteousness, and deliver the spoiled out of the hand of the oppressor: and do no wrong, do no violence to the stranger, the fatherless, nor the widow, neither shed innocent blood in this place.
The LORD says: “Execute justice and righteousness, and deliver him who is robbed out of the hand of the oppressor. Do no wrong. Do no violence to the foreigner, the fatherless, or the widow. Don’t shed innocent blood in this place.
Se vocês cumprirem minha ordem, então os reis que se assentarem no trono de Davi entrarão pelas portas deste palácio com suas belas carruagens e cavalos, junto com seus oficiais e com o povo.
Porque si efectivamente hiciereis esta palabra, los reyes que en lugar de David se sientan sobre su trono, entrarán montados en carros y en caballos por las puertas de esta casa, ellos, y sus criados, y su pueblo.
For if ye do this thing indeed, then shall there enter in by the gates of this house kings sitting upon the throne of David, riding in chariots and on horses, he, and his servants, and his people.
For if you do this thing indeed, then kings sitting on David’s throne will enter in by the gates of this house, riding in chariots and on horses—they, their servants, and their people.
Mas, se vocês não me obedecerem, juro por mim mesmo”, diz o Senhor, “que este palácio será transformado num monte de ruínas”.
Mas si no oyereis estas palabras, por mí he jurado, dice Jehová, que esta casa será desierta.
But if ye will not hear these words, I swear by myself, saith the LORD, that this house shall become a desolation.
But if you will not hear these words, I swear by myself,” says the LORD, “that this house will become a desolation.”’”
E esta é a mensagem do Senhor a respeito do palácio do rei de Judá: “Para mim, você é belo e precioso como os campos de Gileade e as florestas do Líbano, mas eu o destruirei; você ficará reduzido a um monte de ruínas desertas e vazias.
Porque así ha dicho Jehová sobre la casa del rey de Judá: Galaad eres tú para mí, y cabeza del Líbano: empero de cierto te pondré en soledad, y ciudades deshabitadas.
For thus saith the LORD unto the king’s house of Judah; Thou art Gilead unto me, and the head of Lebanon: yet surely I will make thee a wilderness, and cities which are not inhabited.
For the LORD says concerning the house of the king of Judah: “You are Gilead to me, the head of Lebanon. Yet surely I will make you a wilderness, cities which are not inhabited.
Já escolhi os homens que vão destruir você; eles trarão as ferramentas, arrancarão as belas tábuas de cedro e as lançarão no fogo.
Y señalaré contra ti disipadores, cada uno con sus armas; y cortarán tus cedros escogidos, y los echarán en el fuego.
And I will prepare destroyers against thee, every one with his weapons: and they shall cut down thy choice cedars, and cast them into the fire.
I will prepare destroyers against you, everyone with his weapons, and they will cut down your choice cedars, and cast them into the fire.
“Pessoas de vários povos passarão por aqui e perguntarão uns aos outros: ‘Por que o Senhor fez isso? Por que destruiu completamente esta grande cidade?’
Y muchas gentes pasarán junto á esta ciudad, y dirán cada uno á su compañero: ¿Por qué lo hizo así Jehová con esta grande ciudad?
And many nations shall pass by this city, and they shall say every man to his neighbour, Wherefore hath the LORD done thus unto this great city?
“Many nations will pass by this city, and they will each ask his neighbor, ‘Why has the LORD done this to this great city?’
E a resposta será: ‘Porque os moradores desta cidade não cumpriram a aliança que tinham feito com o Senhor, o seu Deus, e adoraram e serviram outros deuses’ ”.
Y dirán: Porque dejaron el pacto de Jehová su Dios, y adoraron dioses ajenos, y les sirvieron.
Then they shall answer, Because they have forsaken the covenant of the LORD their God, and worshipped other gods, and served them.
Then they will answer, ‘Because they abandoned the covenant of the LORD their God, worshiped other gods, and served them.’”
Não chorem pelo rei morto, nem lamentem a sua perda! Chorem amargamente, porém, pelo rei que está sendo levado prisioneiro para o exílio, porque ele nunca mais verá o seu país, não voltará jamais à sua terra natal.
No lloréis al muerto, ni de él os condolezcáis: llorad amargamente por el que va; porque no volverá jamás, ni verá la tierra donde nació.
Weep ye not for the dead, neither bemoan him: but weep sore for him that goeth away: for he shall return no more, nor see his native country.
Don’t weep for the dead. Don’t bemoan him; but weep bitterly for him who goes away, for he will return no more, and not see his native country.
Isto é o que o Senhor diz a respeito de Jeoacaz, que se tornou rei em lugar de seu pai, Josias, e foi arrancado do trono: “Ele nunca mais voltará.
Porque así ha dicho Jehová, de Sallum hijo de Josías, rey de Judá, que reina por Josías su padre, que salió de este lugar: No volverá acá más;
For thus saith the LORD touching Shallum the son of Josiah king of Judah, which reigned instead of Josiah his father, which went forth out of this place; He shall not return thither any more:
For the LORD says touching Shallum the son of Josiah, king of Judah, who reigned instead of Josiah his father, and who went out of this place: “He won’t return there any more.
Morrerá na terra para onde foi levado como escravo; nunca mais verá esta terra.
Antes morirá en el lugar adonde lo trasportaren, y no verá más esta tierra.
But he shall die in the place whither they have led him captive, and shall see this land no more.
But he will die in the place where they have led him captive. He will see this land no more.”
“Ai daquele que constrói o seu belo palácio e está obrigando homens a trabalhar como escravos. Você não dá aos trabalhadores o salário, e assim cada parede está cheia de injustiça, cada quarto está cheio de violência e exploração.
¡Ay del que edifica su casa y no en justicia, y sus salas y no en juicio, sirviéndose de su prójimo de balde, y no dándole el salario de su trabajo!
Woe unto him that buildeth his house by unrighteousness, and his chambers by wrong; that useth his neighbour’s service without wages, and giveth him not for his work;
“Woe to him who builds his house by unrighteousness, and his rooms by injustice; who uses his neighbor’s service without wages, and doesn’t give him his hire;
Ele pensa consigo mesmo: ‘Vou construir um palácio magnífico, com salas espaçosas e janelas amplas. Vou revestir as paredes com tábua de cedro e pintar as salas de vermelho’.
Que dice: Edificaré para mí casa espaciosa, y airosas salas; y le abre ventanas, y la cubre de cedro, y la pinta de bermellón.
That saith, I will build me a wide house and large chambers, and cutteth him out windows; and it is cieled with cedar, and painted with vermilion.
who says, ‘I will build myself a wide house and spacious rooms,’ and cuts out windows for himself, with a cedar ceiling, and painted with red.
“Mas um belo palácio não faz um bom rei! Sua nova casa pode ter tanto cedro quanto o antigo palácio, mas isso não vai firmar o seu reino. Você sabe por que seu pai teve um reinado longo e abençoado por Deus? Porque foi um rei justo e bondoso!
¿Reinarás porque te cercas de cedro? ¿no comió y bebió tu padre, é hizo juicio y justicia, y entonces le fué bien?
Shalt thou reign, because thou closest thyself in cedar? did not thy father eat and drink, and do judgment and justice, and then it was well with him?
“Should you reign because you strive to excel in cedar? Didn’t your father eat and drink, and do justice and righteousness? Then it was well with him.
Ele cuidou dos pobres e resolveu os problemas dos necessitados. Por isso, tudo correu bem para ele. Não é isso que significa conhecer-me?”, diz o Senhor.
El juzgó la causa del afligido y del menesteroso, y entonces estuvo bien. ¿No es esto conocerme á mí? dice Jehová.
He judged the cause of the poor and needy; then it was well with him: was not this to know me? saith the LORD.
He judged the cause of the poor and needy; so then it was well. Wasn’t this to know me?” says the LORD.
“Mas você só pensa em ajuntar riquezas e para isso faz planos desonestos. Você derrama sangue inocente, explora os pobres e arranca dinheiro de quem já não tem mais nada para dar”.
Mas tus ojos y tu corazón no son sino á tu avaricia, y á derramar la sangre inocente, y á opresión, y á hacer agravio.
But thine eyes and thine heart are not but for thy covetousness, and for to shed innocent blood, and for oppression, and for violence, to do it.
But your eyes and your heart are only for your covetousness, for shedding innocent blood, for oppression, and for doing violence.”
Por causa disso, esta é a ordem do Senhor acerca de Jeoaquim, filho de Josias, rei de Judá: “Ninguém vai chorar de tristeza quando ele morrer. Não clamarão: ‘Ah, meu irmão’ ou ‘Ah, minha irmã!’ Nem lamentarão, dizendo: ‘Ah, meu senhor!’ ou ‘Ah, meu rei!’
Por tanto así ha dicho Jehová, de Joacim hijo de Josías, rey de Judá: No lo llorarán, diciendo: ¡Ay hermano mío! y ¡ay hermana! ni lo lamentarán, diciendo: ¡Ay señor! ¡ay su grandeza!
Therefore thus saith the LORD concerning Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah; They shall not lament for him, saying, Ah my brother! or, Ah sister! they shall not lament for him, saying, Ah lord! or, Ah his glory!
Therefore the LORD says concerning Jehoiakim the son of Josiah, king of Judah: “They won’t lament for him, saying, ‘Ah my brother!’ or, ‘Ah sister!’ They won’t lament for him, saying ‘Ah lord!’ or, ‘Ah his glory!’
Ele será enterrado como se enterra um jumento: Seu corpo será arrastado pelas ruas de Jerusalém e jogado fora dos portões de Jerusalém.
En sepultura de asno será enterrado, arrastrándole y echándole fuera de las puertas de Jerusalem.
He shall be buried with the burial of an ass, drawn and cast forth beyond the gates of Jerusalem.
He will be buried with the burial of a donkey, drawn and cast out beyond the gates of Jerusalem.”
“Jerusalém, chore de desespero porque todos os seus antigos aliados desapareceram! Suba as montanhas do Líbano e grite por eles! Seja ouvida a sua voz em Basã! Vá às montanhas de Abarim e chame seus amigos! Todos eles foram esmagados!
Sube al Líbano, y clama, y en Basán da tu voz, y grita hacia todas partes; porque todos tus enamorados son quebrantados.
Go up to Lebanon, and cry; and lift up thy voice in Bashan, and cry from the passages: for all thy lovers are destroyed.
“Go up to Lebanon, and cry out. Lift up your voice in Bashan, and cry from Abarim; for all your lovers have been destroyed.
Quando você era rica e vivia em paz, eu a adverti dos perigos, mas você respondeu: ‘Não me aborreça!’ Esse sempre foi seu procedimento desde que você ainda era uma cidade jovem; você nunca quis me ouvir.
Hete hablado en tus prosperidades; mas dijiste: No oiré. Este fué tu camino desde tu juventud, que nunca oiste mi voz.
I spake unto thee in thy prosperity; but thou saidst, I will not hear. This hath been thy manner from thy youth, that thou obeyedst not my voice.
I spoke to you in your prosperity, but you said, ‘I will not listen.’ This has been your way from your youth, that you didn’t obey my voice.
Agora, de repente, todos os seus governantes serão levados pelo vento; as nações aliadas irão para o exílio como escravas. Dentro em breve, com certeza, você também será envergonhada e humilhada por causa de toda a sua maldade!
A todos tus pastores pacerá el viento, y tus enamorados irán en cautiverio: entonces te avergonzarás y te confundirás á causa de toda tu malicia.
The wind shall eat up all thy pastors, and thy lovers shall go into captivity: surely then shalt thou be ashamed and confounded for all thy wickedness.
The wind will feed all your shepherds, and your lovers will go into captivity. Surely then you will be ashamed and confounded for all your wickedness.
Você, que está entronizada no Líbano, que vive à vontade no luxo de um palácio coberto de cedro, vai gemer e gritar de sofrimento e de dor como uma mulher que está para dar à luz!
Habitaste en el Líbano, hiciste tu nido en los cedros: ¡cómo gemirás cuando te vinieren dolores, dolor como de mujer que está de parto!
O inhabitant of Lebanon, that makest thy nest in the cedars, how gracious shalt thou be when pangs come upon thee, the pain as of a woman in travail!
Inhabitant of Lebanon, who makes your nest in the cedars, how greatly to be pitied you will be when pangs come on you, the pain as of a woman in travail!
“Juro pelo meu nome”, diz o Senhor, “que ainda que você, Conias, filho de Jeoaquim, rei de Judá, fosse um anel com que eu selo as minhas ordens, eu o arrancaria e jogaria fora.
Vivo yo, dice Jehová, que si Conías hijo de Joacím rey de Judá fuese anillo en mi mano diestra, aun de allí te arrancaré;
As I live, saith the LORD, though Coniah the son of Jehoiakim king of Judah were the signet upon my right hand, yet would I pluck thee thence;
“As I live,” says the LORD, “though Coniah the son of Jehoiakim king of Judah were the signet on my right hand, I would still pluck you from there.
Ouça bem, Conias! Eu vou entregar você nas mãos daqueles que querem tirar a sua vida, daqueles que você teme, nas mãos de Nabucodonosor, rei da Babilônia, e dos exércitos caldeus.
Y te entregaré en mano de los que buscan tu alma, y en mano de aquellos cuya vista temes; sí, en mano de Nabucodonosor rey de Babilonia, y en mano de los Caldeos.
And I will give thee into the hand of them that seek thy life, and into the hand of them whose face thou fearest, even into the hand of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon, and into the hand of the Chaldeans.
I would give you into the hand of those who seek your life, and into the hand of them of whom you are afraid, even into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, and into the hand of the Chaldeans.
Você e sua mãe, a mulher que o deu à luz, serão expulsos para uma terra distante, onde vocês não nasceram, e lá morrerão.
Y hacerte he trasportar, á ti, y á tu madre que te parió, á tierra ajena en que no nacisteis; y allá moriréis.
And I will cast thee out, and thy mother that bare thee, into another country, where ye were not born; and there shall ye die.
I will cast you out with your mother who bore you into another country, where you were not born; and there you will die.
Jamais voltarão a esta terra, da qual tanto gostam”.
Y á la tierra á la cual levantan ellos su alma para tornar, allá no volverán.
But to the land whereunto they desire to return, thither shall they not return.
But to the land to which their soul longs to return, there they will not return.”
Conias não passa de um vaso desprezível e quebrado, jogado fora, que ninguém mais quer! Ele e seus descendentes serão expulsos e levados para longe, para uma terra que não conhecem.
¿Es este hombre Conías un ídolo vil quebrado? ¿es vaso con quien nadie se deleita? ¿Por qué fueron arrojados, él y su generación, y echados á tierra que no habían conocido?
Is this man Coniah a despised broken idol? is he a vessel wherein is no pleasure? wherefore are they cast out, he and his seed, and are cast into a land which they know not?
Is this man Coniah a despised broken vessel? Is he a vessel in which no one delights? Why are they cast out, he and his offspring, and cast into a land which they don’t know?
Ó terra, terra, terra, ouça a palavra do Senhor!
¡Tierra, tierra, tierra! oye palabra de Jehová.
O earth, earth, earth, hear the word of the LORD.
O earth, earth, earth, hear the LORD’s word!
Assim diz o Senhor: Quando for feita a contagem do povo de Judá, Conias deve ser registrado como um homem que não teve filhos. A sua vida não valeu nada, e a dos seus descendentes também não vai valer. Por isso, nenhum deles vai se assentar no trono de Davi, para reinar em Judá.
Así ha dicho Jehová: Escribid que será este hombre privado de generación, hombre á quien nada sucederá prósperamente en todos los días de su vida: porque ningún hombre de su simiente que se sentare sobre el trono de David, y que se enseñoreare sobre Judá, será jamás dichoso.
Thus saith the LORD, Write ye this man childless, a man that shall not prosper in his days: for no man of his seed shall prosper, sitting upon the throne of David, and ruling any more in Judah.
The LORD says, “Record this man as childless, a man who will not prosper in his days; for no more will a man of his offspring prosper, sitting on David’s throne and ruling in Judah.”
