Der HERR ließ mich schauen, und siehe, da standen zwei Körbe mit Feigen vor dem Tempel des HERRN (nachdem der babylonische König Nebukadnezar den Jechonja, den Sohn Jojakims, den König von Juda, gefangen weggeführt und ihn samt den Fürsten Judas und den Schmieden und den Schlossern gen Babel gebracht hatte):
MOSTRÓME Jehová, y he aquí dos cestas de higos puestas delante del templo de Jehová, después de haber trasportado Nabucodonosor rey de Babilonia á Jechônías hijo de Joacim, rey de Judá, y á los príncipes de Judá, y á los oficiales y herreros de Jerusalem, y haberlos llevado á Babilonia.
The LORD shewed me, and, behold, two baskets of figs were set before the temple of the LORD, after that Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon had carried away captive Jeconiah the son of Jehoiakim king of Judah, and the princes of Judah, with the carpenters and smiths, from Jerusalem, and had brought them to Babylon.

Da sprach der HERR zu mir: Jeremia, was siehst du? Feigen, antwortete ich; die guten Feigen sind sehr gut, und die schlechten Feigen sind sehr schlecht, daß man sie vor Schlechtigkeit nicht genießen kann.
Y díjome Jehová: ¿Qué ves tú, Jeremías? Y dije: Higos, higos buenos, muy buenos; y malos, muy malos, que de malos no se pueden comer.
Then said the LORD unto me, What seest thou, Jeremiah? And I said, Figs; the good figs, very good; and the evil, very evil, that cannot be eaten, they are so evil.
Then the LORD asked me, “What do you see, Jeremiah?” I said, “Figs. The good figs are very good, and the bad are very bad, so bad that they can’t be eaten.”
Da erging das Wort des HERRN an mich also:

So spricht der HERR, der Gott Israels: Wie diese guten Feigen hier, so will ich die Gefangenen Judas, welche ich von diesem Orte weg ins Land der Chaldäer geschickt habe, für gut erkennen,
Así ha dicho Jehová Dios de Israel: Como á estos buenos higos, así conoceré la trasportación de Judá al cual eché de este lugar á tierra de Caldeos, para bien.
Thus saith the LORD, the God of Israel; Like these good figs, so will I acknowledge them that are carried away captive of Judah, whom I have sent out of this place into the land of the Chaldeans for their good.
“The LORD, the God of Israel says: ‘Like these good figs, so I will regard the captives of Judah, whom I have sent out of this place into the land of the Chaldeans, as good.
und ich will mein Auge auf sie richten zum Guten und will sie wieder in dieses Land zurückbringen und will sie bauen und nicht niederreißen, pflanzen und nicht ausreuten;
Porque pondré mis ojos sobre ellos para bien, y volverélos á esta tierra; y los edificaré, y no los destruiré: plantarélos, y no los arrancaré.
For I will set mine eyes upon them for good, and I will bring them again to this land: and I will build them, and not pull them down; and I will plant them, and not pluck them up.

und ich will ihnen ein Herz geben, daß sie mich erkennen sollen, daß ich der HERR bin, und sie sollen mein Volk sein, und ich will ihr Gott sein; denn sie werden sich von ganzem Herzen zu mir bekehren.
Y les daré corazón para que me conozcan, que yo soy Jehová: y me serán por pueblo, y yo les seré á ellos por Dios; porque se volverán á mí de todo su corazón.
And I will give them an heart to know me, that I am the LORD: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God: for they shall return unto me with their whole heart.

Aber wie die schlechten Feigen so schlecht sind, daß man sie nicht genießen kann, so will ich, spricht der HERR, Zedekia, den König von Juda, behandeln und seine Fürsten und den Überrest von Jerusalem, sowohl die, welche in diesem Lande übriggeblieben sind, als auch die, welche in Ägyptenland wohnen.
Y como los malos higos, que de malos no se pueden comer, así, ha dicho Jehová, daré á Sedechîas rey de Judá, y á sus príncipes, y al resto de Jerusalem que quedaron en esta tierra, y que moran en la tierra de Egipto.
And as the evil figs, which cannot be eaten, they are so evil; surely thus saith the LORD, So will I give Zedekiah the king of Judah, and his princes, and the residue of Jerusalem, that remain in this land, and them that dwell in the land of Egypt:
“‘As the bad figs, which can’t be eaten, they are so bad,’ surely the LORD says, ‘So I will give up Zedekiah the king of Judah, and his princes, and the remnant of Jerusalem who remain in this land, and those who dwell in the land of Egypt.
Und ich will sie zum abschreckenden Beispiel des Unglücks machen für alle Königreiche der Erde, zum Schimpfwort und zum Sprichwort, zum Stichelwort und zum Fluch an allen Orten, dahin ich sie verstoßen werde;
Y darélos por escarnio, por mal á todos los reinos de la tierra: por infamia, y por ejemplo, y por refrán, y por maldición á todos los lugares adonde yo los arrojaré.
And I will deliver them to be removed into all the kingdoms of the earth for their hurt, to be a reproach and a proverb, a taunt and a curse, in all places whither I shall drive them.

und will gegen sie das Schwert, die Hungersnot und die Pest loslassen, bis sie gänzlich aus dem Lande vertilgt sind, das ich ihnen und ihren Vätern gegeben habe!
