Jeremías 25

Egli ha abbandonato il suo tabernacolo, a guisa di un leoncello che abbandonasse il suo ricetto; perciocchè il lor paese è stato messo in desolazione per lo furor dello sforzatore, e per l'ardor dell'ira di esso.

Dejó cual leoncillo su guarida; pues asolada fué la tierra de ellos por la ira del opresor, y por el furor de su saña.

He hath forsaken his covert, as the lion: for their land is desolate because of the fierceness of the oppressor, and because of his fierce anger.

He has left his covert, as the lion; for their land has become an astonishment because of the fierceness of the oppression, and because of his fierce anger.
