Ma la mano di Ahicam, figliuolo di Safan, fu con Geremia, acciocchè non fosse messo in man del popolo, per farlo morire.

La mano empero de Ahicam hijo de Saphán era con Jeremías, porque no lo entregasen en las manos del pueblo para matarlo.

Nevertheless the hand of Ahikam the son of Shaphan was with Jeremiah, that they should not give him into the hand of the people to put him to death.
