Jeremías 26

Au commencement du règne de Jéhojakim, fils de Josias, Roi de Juda, cette parole fut adressée à Jérémie par l’Eternel, en disant :

EN el principio del reinado de Joacim hijo de Josías, rey de Judá, fué esta palabra de Jehová, diciendo:

In the beginning of the reign of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah came this word from the LORD, saying,

Ainsi a dit l’Eternel : tiens-toi debout au parvis de la maison de l’Eternel, et prononce à toutes les villes de Juda qui viennent pour se prosterner dans la maison de l’Eternel, toutes les paroles que je t’ai commandé de leur prononcer ; n’en retranche pas une parole.

Así ha dicho Jehová: Ponte en el atrio de la casa de Jehová, y habla á todas las ciudades de Judá, que vienen para adorar en la casa de Jehová, todas las palabras que yo te mandé les hablases; no retengas palabra.

Thus saith the LORD; Stand in the court of the LORD’s house, and speak unto all the cities of Judah, which come to worship in the LORD’s house, all the words that I command thee to speak unto them; diminish not a word:

“The LORD says: ‘Stand in the court of the LORD’s house, and speak to all the cities of Judah which come to worship in the LORD’s house, all the words that I command you to speak to them. Don’t omit a word.

Peut-être qu’ils écouteront, et qu’ils se détourneront chacun de son mauvais train ; et je me repentirai du mal que je pense de leur faire à cause de la malice de leurs actions.

Quizá oirán, y se tornarán cada uno de su mal camino; y arrepentiréme yo del mal que pienso hacerles por la maldad de sus obras.

If so be they will hearken, and turn every man from his evil way, that I may repent me of the evil, which I purpose to do unto them because of the evil of their doings.

It may be they will listen, and every man turn from his evil way, that I may relent from the evil which I intend to do to them because of the evil of their doings.’”

Tu leur diras donc : ainsi a dit l’Eternel : si vous ne m’écoutez point pour marcher dans ma Loi, laquelle je vous ai proposée,

Les dirás pues: Así ha dicho Jehová: Si no me oyereis para andar en mi ley, la cual dí delante de vosotros,

And thou shalt say unto them, Thus saith the LORD; If ye will not hearken to me, to walk in my law, which I have set before you,

You shall tell them, “The LORD says: ‘If you will not listen to me, to walk in my law which I have set before you,

Pour obéir aux paroles des Prophètes mes serviteurs que je vous envoie, me levant dès le matin, et les envoyant, lesquels vous n’avez point écoutés :

Para atender á las palabras de mis siervos los profetas que yo os envío, madrugando en enviarlos, á los cuales no habéis oído;

To hearken to the words of my servants the prophets, whom I sent unto you, both rising up early, and sending them, but ye have not hearkened;

to listen to the words of my servants the prophets whom I send to you, even rising up early and sending them—but you have not listened—

Je mettrai cette maison en même état que Silo, et je livrerai cette ville en malédiction à toutes les nations de la terre.

Yo pondré esta casa como Silo, y daré esta ciudad en maldición á todas las gentes de la tierra.

Then will I make this house like Shiloh, and will make this city a curse to all the nations of the earth.

then I will make this house like Shiloh, and will make this city a curse to all the nations of the earth.’”

Or les Sacrificateurs et les Prophètes, et tout le peuple entendirent Jérémie prononçant ces paroles dans la maison de l’Eternel.

Y los sacerdotes, los profetas, y todo el pueblo, oyeron á Jeremías hablar estas palabras en la casa de Jehová.

So the priests and the prophets and all the people heard Jeremiah speaking these words in the house of the LORD.

Et il arriva qu’aussitôt que Jérémie eut achevé de prononcer tout ce que l’Eternel lui avait commandé de prononcer à tout le peuple, les Sacrificateurs et les Prophètes et tout le peuple le saisirent, en disant : tu mourras de mort.

Y fué que, acabando de hablar Jeremías todo lo que Jehová le había mandado que hablase á todo el pueblo, los sacerdotes y los profetas y todo el pueblo le echaron mano, diciendo: De cierto morirás.

Now it came to pass, when Jeremiah had made an end of speaking all that the LORD had commanded him to speak unto all the people, that the priests and the prophets and all the people took him, saying, Thou shalt surely die.

When Jeremiah had finished speaking all that the LORD had commanded him to speak to all the people, the priests and the prophets and all the people seized him, saying, “You shall surely die!

Pourquoi as-tu prophétisé au Nom de l’Eternel, disant : cette maison sera comme Silo, et cette ville sera déserte, tellement que personne n’y habitera ? Et tout le peuple s’assembla vers Jérémie dans la maison de l’Eternel.

¿Por qué has profetizado en nombre de Jehová, diciendo: Esta casa será como Silo, y esta ciudad será asolada hasta no quedar morador? Y juntóse todo el pueblo contra Jeremías en la casa de Jehová.

Why hast thou prophesied in the name of the LORD, saying, This house shall be like Shiloh, and this city shall be desolate without an inhabitant? And all the people were gathered against Jeremiah in the house of the LORD.

Why have you prophesied in the LORD’s name, saying, ‘This house will be like Shiloh, and this city will be desolate, without inhabitant’?” All the people were crowded around Jeremiah in the LORD’s house.

Et les principaux de Juda ayant ouï toutes ces choses montèrent de la maison du Roi à la maison de l’Eternel, et s’assirent à l’entrée de la porte neuve de la maison de l’Eternel.

Y los príncipes de Judá oyeron estas cosas, y subieron de casa del rey á la casa de Jehová; y sentáronse en la entrada de la puerta nueva de Jehová.

When the princes of Judah heard these things, then they came up from the king’s house unto the house of the LORD, and sat down in the entry of the new gate of the LORD’s house.

Et les Sacrificateurs et les Prophètes parlèrent aux principaux, et à tout le peuple, en disant : cet homme mérite d’être condamné à la mort, car il a prophétisé contre cette ville, comme vous l’avez entendu de vos oreilles.

Entonces hablaron los sacerdotes y los profetas á los príncipes y á todo el pueblo, diciendo: En pena de muerte ha incurrido este hombre; porque profetizó contra esta ciudad, como vosotros habéis oído con vuestros oídos.

Then spake the priests and the prophets unto the princes and to all the people, saying, This man is worthy to die; for he hath prophesied against this city, as ye have heard with your ears.

Then the priests and the prophets spoke to the princes and to all the people, saying, “This man is worthy of death, for he has prophesied against this city, as you have heard with your ears.”

Et Jérémie parla à tous les principaux, et à tout le peuple, en disant : l’Eternel m’a envoyé pour prophétiser contre cette maison, et contre cette ville, selon toutes les paroles que vous avez ouïes.

Y habló Jeremías á todos los príncipes y á todo el pueblo, diciendo: Jehová me envió á que profetizase contra esta casa y contra esta ciudad, todas las palabras que habéis oído.

Then spake Jeremiah unto all the princes and to all the people, saying, The LORD sent me to prophesy against this house and against this city all the words that ye have heard.

Then Jeremiah spoke to all the princes and to all the people, saying, “The LORD sent me to prophesy against this house and against this city all the words that you have heard.

Maintenant donc, corrigez votre conduite et vos actions ; et écoutez la voix de l’Eternel votre Dieu, et l’Eternel se repentira du mal qu’il a prononcé contre vous.

Y ahora, mejorad vuestros caminos y vuestras obras, y oid la voz de Jehová vuestro Dios, y arrepentiráse Jehová del mal que ha hablado contra vosotros.

Therefore now amend your ways and your doings, and obey the voice of the LORD your God; and the LORD will repent him of the evil that he hath pronounced against you.

Now therefore amend your ways and your doings, and obey the LORD your God’s voice; then the LORD will relent from the evil that he has pronounced against you.

Pour moi, me voici entre vos mains, faites de moi comme il vous semblera bon et juste.

En lo que á mí toca, he aquí estoy en vuestras manos: haced de mí como mejor y más recto os pareciere.

As for me, behold, I am in your hand: do with me as seemeth good and meet unto you.

But as for me, behold, I am in your hand. Do with me what is good and right in your eyes.

Mais sachez comme une chose certaine, que si vous me faites mourir, vous mettrez du sang innocent sur vous, et sur cette ville, et sur ses habitants ; car en vérité l’Eternel m’a envoyé vers vous, afin de prononcer toutes ces paroles, vous l’entendant.

Mas sabed de cierto que, si me matareis, sangre inocente echaréis sobre vosotros, y sobre esta ciudad, y sobre sus moradores: porque en verdad Jehová me envió á vosotros para que dijese todas estas palabras en vuestros oídos.

But know ye for certain, that if ye put me to death, ye shall surely bring innocent blood upon yourselves, and upon this city, and upon the inhabitants thereof: for of a truth the LORD hath sent me unto you to speak all these words in your ears.

Only know for certain that if you put me to death, you will bring innocent blood on yourselves, on this city, and on its inhabitants; for in truth the LORD has sent me to you to speak all these words in your ears.”

Alors les principaux et tout le peuple dirent aux Sacrificateurs et aux Prophètes : cet homme ne mérite pas d’être condamné à la mort ; car il nous a parlé au Nom de l’Eternel notre Dieu.

Y dijeron los príncipes y todo el pueblo á los sacerdotes y profetas. No ha incurrido este hombre en pena de muerte, porque en nombre de Jehová nuestro Dios nos ha hablado.

Then said the princes and all the people unto the priests and to the prophets; This man is not worthy to die: for he hath spoken to us in the name of the LORD our God.

Then the princes and all the people said to the priests and to the prophets: “This man is not worthy of death; for he has spoken to us in the name of the LORD our God.”

Et quelques-uns des Anciens du pays se levèrent, et parlèrent à toute l’assemblée du peuple, en disant :

Entonces se levantaron ciertos de los ancianos de la tierra, y hablaron á toda la junta del pueblo, diciendo:

Then rose up certain of the elders of the land, and spake to all the assembly of the people, saying,

Then certain of the elders of the land rose up, and spoke to all the assembly of the people, saying,

Michée Morastite a prophétisé aux jours d’Ezéchias Roi de Juda, et a parlé à tout le peuple de Juda, en disant : ainsi a dit l’Eternel des armées, Sion sera labourée comme un champ, et Jérusalem sera réduite en monceaux de pierres, et la montagne du Temple en de hauts lieux d’une forêt.

Miqueas de Morasti profetizó en tiempo de Ezechîas rey de Judá, diciendo: Así ha dicho Jehová de los ejércitos: Sión será arada como campo, y Jerusalem vendrá á ser montones, y el monte del templo en cumbres de bosque.

Micah the Morasthite prophesied in the days of Hezekiah king of Judah, and spake to all the people of Judah, saying, Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Zion shall be plowed like a field, and Jerusalem shall become heaps, and the mountain of the house as the high places of a forest.

“Micah the Morashtite prophesied in the days of Hezekiah king of Judah; and he spoke to all the people of Judah, saying, ‘The LORD of Armies says: “‘Zion will be plowed as a field, and Jerusalem will become heaps, and the mountain of the house as the high places of a forest.’

Ezéchias le Roi de Juda, et tous ceux de Juda le firent-ils mourir ? Ne craignit-il pas l’Eternel, et ne supplia-t-il pas l’Eternel ? et l’Eternel se repentit du mal qu’il avait prononcé contre eux ; nous faisons donc un grand mal contre nos âmes.

¿Matáronlo luego Ezechîas rey de Judá y todo Judá? ¿no temió á Jehová, y oró en presencia de Jehová, y Jehová se arrepintió del mal que había hablado contra ellos? ¿Haremos pues nosotros tan grande mal contra nuestras almas?

Did Hezekiah king of Judah and all Judah put him at all to death? did he not fear the LORD, and besought the LORD, and the LORD repented him of the evil which he had pronounced against them? Thus might we procure great evil against our souls.

Did Hezekiah king of Judah and all Judah put him to death? Didn’t he fear the LORD, and entreat the favor of the LORD, and the LORD relented of the disaster which he had pronounced against them? We would commit great evil against our own souls that way!”

Mais aussi, dirent les autres, il y eut un homme qui prophétisa au Nom de l’Eternel, savoir Urie, fils de Sémahia, de Kiriath- jéharim, lequel ayant prophétisé contre cette même ville, et contre ce même pays, en la même manière que Jérémie ;

Hubo también un hombre que profetizaba en nombre de Jehová, Urías, hijo de Semaías de Chîriath-jearim, el cual profetizó contra esta ciudad y contra esta tierra, conforme á todas las palabras de Jeremías:

And there was also a man that prophesied in the name of the LORD, Urijah the son of Shemaiah of Kirjath-jearim, who prophesied against this city and against this land according to all the words of Jeremiah:

There was also a man who prophesied in the LORD’s name, Uriah the son of Shemaiah of Kiriath Jearim; and he prophesied against this city and against this land according to all the words of Jeremiah.

Et le Roi Jéhojakim, avec tous ses officiers, et les principaux ayant entendu ses paroles, le Roi chercha à le faire mourir ; mais Urie l’ayant appris, et ayant craint, s’enfuit, et se retira en Egypte.

Y oyó sus palabras el rey Joacim, y todos sus grandes, y todos sus príncipes, y el rey procuró de matarle; lo cual entendiendo Urías, tuvo temor, y huyó, y metióse en Egipto:

And when Jehoiakim the king, with all his mighty men, and all the princes, heard his words, the king sought to put him to death: but when Urijah heard it, he was afraid, and fled, and went into Egypt;

Et le Roi Jéhojakim envoya des hommes en Egypte, savoir Elnathan, fils de Hacbor, et quelques gens avec lui, qui allèrent en Egypte,

Y el rey Joacim envió hombres á Egipto, á Elnathán hijo de Acbor, y otros hombres con él, á Egipto;

And Jehoiakim the king sent men into Egypt, namely, Elnathan the son of Achbor, and certain men with him into Egypt.

Then Jehoiakim the king sent Elnathan the son of Achbor and certain men with him into Egypt.

Et qui firent revenir Urie d’Egypte, et l’amenèrent au Roi Jéhojakim, qui le frappa avec l’épée, et jeta son corps mort aux sépulcres du peuple.

Los cuales sacaron á Urías de Egipto, y lo trajeron al rey Joacim, é hiriólo á cuchillo, y echó su cuerpo en los sepulcros del vulgo.

And they fetched forth Urijah out of Egypt, and brought him unto Jehoiakim the king; who slew him with the sword, and cast his dead body into the graves of the common people.

Toutefois la main d’Ahikam fils de Saphan fut pour Jérémie, afin qu’on ne le livrât point entre les mains du peuple, pour le faire mourir.

La mano empero de Ahicam hijo de Saphán era con Jeremías, porque no lo entregasen en las manos del pueblo para matarlo.

Nevertheless the hand of Ahikam the son of Shaphan was with Jeremiah, that they should not give him into the hand of the people to put him to death.

But the hand of Ahikam the son of Shaphan was with Jeremiah, so that they didn’t give him into the hand of the people to put him to death.
