Jeremías 29

Estas são as palavras da carta que o profeta Jeremias enviou de Jerusalém ao restante dos anciãos levados cativos, como também aos sacerdotes e aos profetas, e a todo o povo, que Nabucodonosor havia transportado de Jerusalém para a Babilônia,

Y ESTAS son las palabras de la carta que Jeremías profeta envió de Jerusalem á los ancianos que habían quedado de los trasportados, y á los sacerdotes y profetas, y á todo el pueblo que Nabucodonosor llevó cautivo de Jerusalem á Babilonia:

Now these are the words of the letter that Jeremiah the prophet sent from Jerusalem unto the residue of the elders which were carried away captives, and to the priests, and to the prophets, and to all the people whom Nebuchadnezzar had carried away captive from Jerusalem to Babylon;

Now these are the words of the letter that Jeremiah the prophet sent from Jerusalem to the residue of the elders of the captivity, and to the priests, to the prophets, and to all the people whom Nebuchadnezzar had carried away captive from Jerusalem to Babylon,

Depois da saída do rei Jeconias, da rainha-mãe, dos príncipes de Judá e Jerusalém, e dos carpinteiros e ferreiros de Jerusalém,

(Después que salió el rey Jechônías y la reina, y los de palacio, y los príncipes de Judá y de Jerusalem, y los artífices, y los ingenieros de Jerusalem;)

(After that Jeconiah the king, and the queen, and the eunuchs, the princes of Judah and Jerusalem, and the carpenters, and the smiths, were departed from Jerusalem;)

(after Jeconiah the king, the queen mother, the eunuchs, the princes of Judah and Jerusalem, the craftsmen, and the smiths had departed from Jerusalem),

Enviada pela mão de Elasá, filho de Safã, e de Gemarias, filho de Hilquias, os quais Zedequias rei de Judá enviou a Nabucodonosor rei da Babilônia, dizendo:

Por mano de Elasa hijo de Saphán, y de Jemarías hijo de Hilcías, (los cuales envió Sedechîas rey de Judá á Babilonia, á Nabucodonosor rey de Babilonia,) diciendo:

By the hand of Elasah the son of Shaphan, and Gemariah the son of Hilkiah, (whom Zedekiah king of Judah sent unto Babylon to Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon) saying,

by the hand of Elasah the son of Shaphan and Gemariah the son of Hilkiah, (whom Zedekiah king of Judah sent to Babylon to Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon). It said:

Assim diz o SENHOR dos exércitos, Deus de Israel, a todos os levados cativos, os quais fiz transportar de Jerusalém à Babilônia:

Así ha dicho Jehová de los ejércitos, Dios de Israel, á todos los de la cautividad que hice trasportar de Jerusalem á Babilonia:

Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, unto all that are carried away captives, whom I have caused to be carried away from Jerusalem unto Babylon;

The LORD of Armies, the God of Israel, says to all the captives whom I have caused to be carried away captive from Jerusalem to Babylon:

Edificai casas, e nelas habitai; plantai hortas, e comei o fruto delas.

Edificad casas, y morad; y plantad huertos, y comed del fruto de ellos;

Build ye houses, and dwell in them; and plant gardens, and eat the fruit of them;

“Build houses and dwell in them. Plant gardens and eat their fruit.

Tomai esposas, e gerai filhos e filhas, e tomai esposas para vossos filhos, e dai vossas filhas a homens, para que gerem filhos e filhas; e ali multiplicai-vos, e não vos diminuais.

Casaos, y engendrad hijos é hijas; dad mujeres á vuestros hijos, y dad maridos á vuestras hijas, para que paran hijos é hijas; y multiplicaos ahí, y no os hagáis pocos.

Take ye wives, and beget sons and daughters; and take wives for your sons, and give your daughters to husbands, that they may bear sons and daughters; that ye may be increased there, and not diminished.

Take wives and father sons and daughters. Take wives for your sons, and give your daughters to husbands, that they may bear sons and daughters. Multiply there, and don’t be diminished.

E buscai a paz da cidade para onde eu vos levei, e orai por ela ao SENHOR; porque na paz dela vós tereis paz.

Y procurad la paz de la ciudad á la cual os hice traspasar, y rogad por ella á Jehová; porque en su paz tendréis vosotros paz.

And seek the peace of the city whither I have caused you to be carried away captives, and pray unto the LORD for it: for in the peace thereof shall ye have peace.

Seek the peace of the city where I have caused you to be carried away captive, and pray to the LORD for it; for in its peace you will have peace.”

Porque assim diz o SENHOR dos exércitos, Deus de Israel: Os vossos profetas, que há entre vós, e vossos adivinhos não vos enganem; nem escutais a vossos sonhos, que vós sonhais.

Porque así ha dicho Jehová de los ejércitos, Dios de Israel: No os engañen vuestros profetas que están entre vosotros, ni vuestros adivinos; ni miréis á vuestros sueños que soñáis.

For thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Let not your prophets and your diviners, that be in the midst of you, deceive you, neither hearken to your dreams which ye cause to be dreamed.

For the LORD of Armies, the God of Israel says: “Don’t let your prophets who are among you and your diviners deceive you. Don’t listen to your dreams which you cause to be dreamed.

Pois eles vos profetizam falsamente em meu nome; eu não os enviei, diz o SENHOR.

Porque falsamente os profetizan ellos en mi nombre: no los envié, ha dicho Jehová.

For they prophesy falsely unto you in my name: I have not sent them, saith the LORD.

For they prophesy falsely to you in my name. I have not sent them,” says the LORD.

Porque assim diz o SENHOR: Certamente que, quando se cumprirem setenta anos na Babilônia, eu vos visitarei; e cumprirei sobre vós minha boa palavra, trazendo-vos de volta a este lugar.

Porque así dijo Jehová: Cuando en Babilonia se cumplieren los setenta años, yo os visitaré, y despertaré sobre vosotros mi buena palabra, para tornaros á este lugar.

For thus saith the LORD, That after seventy years be accomplished at Babylon I will visit you, and perform my good word toward you, in causing you to return to this place.

For the LORD says, “After seventy years are accomplished for Babylon, I will visit you and perform my good word toward you, in causing you to return to this place.

Porque eu sei os pensamentos que penso quanto a vós, diz o SENHOR, pensamentos de paz, e não de mal, para vos dar um futuro com esperança.

Porque yo sé los pensamientos que tengo acerca de vosotros, dice Jehová, pensamientos de paz, y no de mal, para daros el fin que esperáis.

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,” says the LORD, “thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future.

Então me invocareis, e ireis, e orareis a mim, e eu vos ouvirei;

Entonces me invocaréis, é iréis y oraréis á mí, y yo os oiré:

Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you.

You shall call on me, and you shall go and pray to me, and I will listen to you.

E vós me buscareis e achareis, quando me buscardes de todo o vosso coração.

Y me buscaréis y hallaréis, porque me buscaréis de todo vuestro corazón.

And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.

You shall seek me and find me, when you search for me with all your heart.

E serei achado por vós, diz o SENHOR, e vos restauarei de vosso infortúnio, e vos ajuntarei de todas as nações, e de todos os lugares para onde eu vos lancei, diz o SENHOR; e vos farei voltar ao lugar de onde vos fiz serdes levados cativos.

Y seré hallado de vosotros, dice Jehová, y tornaré vuestra cautividad, y os juntaré de todas las gentes, y de todos los lugares adonde os arrojé, dice Jehová; y os haré volver al lugar de donde os hice ser llevados.

And I will be found of you, saith the LORD: and I will turn away your captivity, and I will gather you from all the nations, and from all the places whither I have driven you, saith the LORD; and I will bring you again into the place whence I caused you to be carried away captive.

I will be found by you,” says the LORD, “and I will turn again your captivity, and I will gather you from all the nations, and from all the places where I have driven you,” says the LORD. “I will bring you again to the place from where I caused you to be carried away captive.”

Visto que dizeis: “O SENHOR tem nos levantado profetas na Babilônia”,

Mas habéis dicho: Jehová nos ha suscitado profetas en Babilonia.

Because ye have said, The LORD hath raised us up prophets in Babylon;

Because you have said, “The LORD has raised us up prophets in Babylon,”

por isso assim diz o SENHOR acerca do rei que se assenta sobre o trono de Davi, e de todo o povo que mora nesta cidade, os vossos irmãos que não saíram convosco ao cativeiro;

Así empero ha dicho Jehová, del rey que está sentado sobre el trono de David, y de todo el pueblo que mora en esta ciudad, de vuestros hermanos que no salieron con vosotros en cautiverio;

Know that thus saith the LORD of the king that sitteth upon the throne of David, and of all the people that dwelleth in this city, and of your brethren that are not gone forth with you into captivity;

the LORD says concerning the king who sits on David’s throne, and concerning all the people who dwell in this city, your brothers who haven’t gone with you into captivity,

Assim diz o SENHOR dos exércitos: Eis que enviarei contra eles espada, fome, e pestilência; e farei deles como a figos podres, que de tão ruins não podem ser comidos.

Así ha dicho Jehová de los ejércitos: He aquí envío yo contra ellos cuchillo, hambre, y pestilencia, y pondrélos como los malos higos, que de malos no se pueden comer.

Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Behold, I will send upon them the sword, the famine, and the pestilence, and will make them like vile figs, that cannot be eaten, they are so evil.

the LORD of Armies says: “Behold, I will send on them the sword, the famine, and the pestilence, and will make them like rotten figs that can’t be eaten, they are so bad.

E os perseguirei com espada, com fome e com pestilência; e os farei de horror a todos os reinos da terra, de maldição e de espanto, e de assovio e de humilhação entre todas a nações às quais eu os tiver lançado;

Y perseguirélos con espada, con hambre y con pestilencia; y darélos por escarnio á todos los reinos de la tierra, por maldición y por espanto, y por silbo y por afrenta á todas la gentes á las cuales los habré arrojado;

And I will persecute them with the sword, with the famine, and with the pestilence, and will deliver them to be removed to all the kingdoms of the earth, to be a curse, and an astonishment, and an hissing, and a reproach, among all the nations whither I have driven them:

I will pursue after them with the sword, with the famine, and with the pestilence, and will deliver them to be tossed back and forth among all the kingdoms of the earth, to be an object of horror, an astonishment, a hissing, and a reproach among all the nations where I have driven them,

Porque não deram ouvidos às minhas palavras, diz o SENHOR, que lhes enviei por meus servos os profetas, insistindo em os enviar; próem não escutastes, diz o SENHOR.

Porque no oyeron mis palabras, dice Jehová, que les envié por mis siervos los profetas, madrugando en enviarlos; y no habéis escuchado, dice Jehová.

Because they have not hearkened to my words, saith the LORD, which I sent unto them by my servants the prophets, rising up early and sending them; but ye would not hear, saith the LORD.

because they have not listened to my words,” says the LORD, “with which I sent to them my servants the prophets, rising up early and sending them; but you would not hear,” says the LORD.

Vós, pois, ouvi a palavra do SENHOR, todos os do cativeiro que enviei de Jerusalém à Babilônia.

Oid pues palabra de Jehová, vosotros todos los trasportados que eché de Jerusalem á Babilonia.

Hear ye therefore the word of the LORD, all ye of the captivity, whom I have sent from Jerusalem to Babylon:

Hear therefore the LORD’s word, all you captives whom I have sent away from Jerusalem to Babylon.

Assim diz o SENHOR dos exércitos, Deus de Israel, quanto a Acabe filho de Colaías, e quanto a Zedequias filho de Maaseias, que vos profetizam falsamente em meu nome: Eis que os entregarei na mão de Nabucodonosor rei da Babilônia, e ele os ferirá diante de vossos olhos.

Así ha dicho Jehová de los ejércitos, Dios de Israel, acerca de Achâb hijo de Colías, y acerca de Sedechîas hijo de Maasías, quienes os profetizan en mi nombre falsamente: He aquí los entrego yo en mano de Nabucodonosor rey de Babilonia, y él los herirá delante de vuestro ojos;

Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, of Ahab the son of Kolaiah, and of Zedekiah the son of Maaseiah, which prophesy a lie unto you in my name; Behold, I will deliver them into the hand of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon; and he shall slay them before your eyes;

The LORD of Armies, the God of Israel, says concerning Ahab the son of Kolaiah, and concerning Zedekiah the son of Maaseiah, who prophesy a lie to you in my name: “Behold, I will deliver them into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon; and he will kill them before your eyes.

E todos os exilados de Judá que estão na Babilônia, os usarão como objeto de maldição, dizendo: Que o SENHOR faça a ti como a Zedequias e como a Acabe, aos quais o rei de Babilônia assou no fogo;

Y todos los trasportados de Judá que están en Babilonia, tomarán de ellos maldición, diciendo: Póngate Jehová como á Sedechîas y como á Achâb, los cuales asó al fuego el rey de Babilonia.

And of them shall be taken up a curse by all the captivity of Judah which are in Babylon, saying, The LORD make thee like Zedekiah and like Ahab, whom the king of Babylon roasted in the fire;

A curse will be taken up about them by all the captives of Judah who are in Babylon, saying, ‘The LORD make you like Zedekiah and like Ahab, whom the king of Babylon roasted in the fire;’

porque fizeram loucura em Israel, e cometeram adultério com as mulheres de seus próximos; e falaram falsamente em meu nome palavra que não lhes mandei; e disso eu sei, e sou testemunha, diz o SENHOR.

Porque hicieron maldad en Israel, y cometieron adulterio con las mujeres de sus prójimos, y falsamente hablaron en mi nombre palabra que no les mandé; lo cual yo sé, y soy testigo, dice Jehová.

Because they have committed villany in Israel, and have committed adultery with their neighbours’ wives, and have spoken lying words in my name, which I have not commanded them; even I know, and am a witness, saith the LORD.

because they have done foolish things in Israel, and have committed adultery with their neighbors’ wives, and have spoken words in my name falsely, which I didn’t command them. I am he who knows, and am witness,” says the LORD.

E a Semaías o neelamita falarás, dizendo:

Y á Semaías de Nehelam hablarás, diciendo:

Thus shalt thou also speak to Shemaiah the Nehelamite, saying,

Concerning Shemaiah the Nehelamite you shall speak, saying,

Assim diz o SENHOR dos exércitos, Deus de Israel, dizendo: Enviaste em teu nome cartas a todo o povo que está em Jerusalém, e a Sofonias, filho do sacerdote Maaseias, e a todos os sacerdotes, dizendo:

Así habló Jehová de los ejércitos, Dios de Israel, diciendo: Por cuanto enviaste letras en tu nombre á todo el pueblo que está en Jerusalem, y á Sophonías sacerdote hijo de Maasías, y á todos los sacerdotes, diciendo:

Thus speaketh the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, saying, Because thou hast sent letters in thy name unto all the people that are at Jerusalem, and to Zephaniah the son of Maaseiah the priest, and to all the priests, saying,

“The LORD of Armies, the God of Israel, says, ‘Because you have sent letters in your own name to all the people who are at Jerusalem, and to Zephaniah the son of Maaseiah, the priest, and to all the priests, saying,

O SENHOR te pôs por sacerdote em lugar do sacerdote Joiada, para que sejas supervisor na casa do SENHOR sobre todo homem furioso e profetizante, para o lançares na prisão e no tronco.

Jehová te ha puesto por sacerdote en lugar de Joiada sacerdote, para que presidáis en la casa de Jehová sobre todo hombre furioso y profetizante, poniéndolo en el calabozo y en el cepo.

The LORD hath made thee priest in the stead of Jehoiada the priest, that ye should be officers in the house of the LORD, for every man that is mad, and maketh himself a prophet, that thou shouldest put him in prison, and in the stocks.

“The LORD has made you priest in the place of Jehoiada the priest, that there may be officers in the LORD’s house, for every man who is crazy and makes himself a prophet, that you should put him in the stocks and in shackles.

Agora, pois, por que não repreendeste a Jeremias de Anatote, que vos profetiza?

¿Por qué pues no has ahora reprendido á Jeremías de Anathoth, que os profetiza falsamente?

Now therefore why hast thou not reproved Jeremiah of Anathoth, which maketh himself a prophet to you?

Now therefore, why have you not rebuked Jeremiah of Anathoth, who makes himself a prophet to you,

Porque por isso ele nos mandou dizer na Babilônia: O cativeiro será duradouro; edificai casas, e nelas morai; plantai hortas, e comei o fruto delas.

Porque por eso nos envió á decir en Babilonia: Largo va el cautiverio: edificad casas, y morad; plantad huertos, y comed el fruto de ellos.

For therefore he sent unto us in Babylon, saying, This captivity is long: build ye houses, and dwell in them; and plant gardens, and eat the fruit of them.

because he has sent to us in Babylon, saying, The captivity is long. Build houses, and dwell in them. Plant gardens, and eat their fruit?”’”

E o sacerdote Sofonias leu esta carta aos ouvidos do profeta Jeremias.

Y Sophonías sacerdote había leído esta carta á oídos de Jeremías profeta.

And Zephaniah the priest read this letter in the ears of Jeremiah the prophet.

Zephaniah the priest read this letter in the hearing of Jeremiah the prophet.

Então veio a palavra do SENHOR a Jeremias, dizendo:

Y fué palabra de Jehová á Jeremías, diciendo:

Then came the word of the LORD unto Jeremiah, saying,

Then the LORD’s word came to Jeremiah, saying,

Manda dizer a todos os do cativeiro: Assim diz o SENHOR quanto a Semaías, o neelamita: Visto que Semaías vos profetizou, sem que eu tenha o enviado, e vos fez confiar em mentiras;

Envía á decir á toda la transmigración: Así ha dicho Jehová de Semaías de Nehelam: Porque os profetizó Semaías, y yo no lo envié, y os hizo confiar en mentira:

Send to all them of the captivity, saying, Thus saith the LORD concerning Shemaiah the Nehelamite; Because that Shemaiah hath prophesied unto you, and I sent him not, and he caused you to trust in a lie:

“Send to all of the captives, saying, ‘The LORD says concerning Shemaiah the Nehelamite: “Because Shemaiah has prophesied to you, and I didn’t send him, and he has caused you to trust in a lie,”

Portanto assim diz o SENHOR: Eis que castigarei Semaías o neelamita, e a sua descendência; ele não terá ninguém que habite entre este povo, nem verá o bem que eu farei a meu povo, diz o SENHOR; pois ele falou rebelião contra o SENHOR.

Por tanto, así ha dicho Jehová: He aquí que yo visito sobre Semaías de Nehelam, y sobre su generación: no tendrá varón que more entre este pueblo, ni verá aquel bien que haré yo á mi pueblo, dice Jehová: porque contra Jehová ha hablado rebelión.

Therefore thus saith the LORD; Behold, I will punish Shemaiah the Nehelamite, and his seed: he shall not have a man to dwell among this people; neither shall he behold the good that I will do for my people, saith the LORD; because he hath taught rebellion against the LORD.

therefore the LORD says, “Behold, I will punish Shemaiah the Nehelamite and his offspring. He will not have a man to dwell among this people. He won’t see the good that I will do to my people,” says the LORD, “because he has spoken rebellion against the LORD.”’”
