Denn zwei (zweifach) Übel (Böses) tut mein Volk: Mich verlassen sie,†die Quelle lebendigen Wassers, um sich †eigene Brunnen auszuhauen -Brunnen, die rissig werden, so dass sie das Wasser nicht halten können.

Porque dos males ha hecho mi pueblo: dejáronme á mí, fuente de agua viva, por cavar para sí cisternas, cisternas rotas que no detienen aguas.

For my people have committed two evils; they have forsaken me the fountain of living waters, and hewed them out cisterns, broken cisterns, that can hold no water.
