Indarno ho percossi i vostri figliuoli; non hanno ricevuta correzione; la vostra spada ha divorati i vostri profeti, a guisa d'un leone guastatore.

Por demás he azotado vuestros hijos; no han recibido corrección. Cuchillo devoró vuestros profetas como león destrozador.

In vain have I smitten your children; they received no correction: your own sword hath devoured your prophets, like a destroying lion.
