Jeremías 2

So spricht JHWH: Was fanden eure Väter an mir †für Unrecht, dass sie sich fernhielten von mir und gingen hinter den Nichtsen (Nichtigkeit, Hauch; Götzen) †her und wurden †selbst nichtig?

Así dijo Jehová: ¿Qué maldad hallaron en mí vuestros padres, que se alejaron de mí, y se fueron tras la vanidad, y tornáronse vanos?

Thus saith the LORD, What iniquity have your fathers found in me, that they are gone far from me, and have walked after vanity, and are become vain?

The LORD says, “What unrighteousness have your fathers found in me, that they have gone far from me, and have walked after worthless vanity, and have become worthless?
