Jeremías 2

Und es geschah an mich Jehovahs Wort sprechend:

Y FUÉ á mí palabra de Jehová, diciendo:

Moreover the word of the LORD came to me, saying,

The LORD’s word came to me, saying,

Gehe hin und rufe vor den Ohren Jerusalems und sprich: So spricht Jehovah: Ich habe dir gedacht der Barmherzigkeit deiner Jugend, der Liebe deiner Bräutlichkeit, da du gingst Mir nach in der Wüste, in einem Land, das nicht besät wird.

Anda, y clama á los oídos de Jerusalem, diciendo: Así dice Jehová: Heme acordado de ti, de la misericordia de tu mocedad, del amor de tu desposorio, cuando andabas en pos de mí en el desierto, en tierra no sembrada.

Go and cry in the ears of Jerusalem, saying, Thus saith the LORD; I remember thee, the kindness of thy youth, the love of thine espousals, when thou wentest after me in the wilderness, in a land that was not sown.

“Go and proclaim in the ears of Jerusalem, saying, ‘The LORD says, “I remember for you the kindness of your youth, your love as a bride, how you went after me in the wilderness, in a land that was not sown.

Dem Jehovah heilig war Israel, der Erstling des Ertrages. Jeder, der sie auffressen wollte, verschuldete sich; Böses kam über sie, spricht Jehovah.

Santidad era Israel á Jehová, primicias de sus nuevos frutos. Todos los que le devoran pecarán; mal vendrá sobre ellos, dice Jehová.

Israel was holiness unto the LORD, and the firstfruits of his increase: all that devour him shall offend; evil shall come upon them, saith the LORD.

Israel was holiness to the LORD, the first fruits of his increase. All who devour him will be held guilty. Evil will come on them,”’ says the LORD.”

Höret das Wort Jehovahs, ihr vom Hause Jakobs und alle ihr Familien vom Hause Israels.

Oid la palabra de Jehová, casa de Jacob, y todas las familias de la casa de Israel.

Hear ye the word of the LORD, O house of Jacob, and all the families of the house of Israel:

Hear the LORD’s word, O house of Jacob, and all the families of the house of Israel!

So spricht Jehovah: Was haben eure Väter Verkehrtes an Mir gefunden, daß sie sich von Mir entfernten und der Nichtigkeit nachgingen und nichtig wurden?

Así dijo Jehová: ¿Qué maldad hallaron en mí vuestros padres, que se alejaron de mí, y se fueron tras la vanidad, y tornáronse vanos?

Thus saith the LORD, What iniquity have your fathers found in me, that they are gone far from me, and have walked after vanity, and are become vain?

The LORD says, “What unrighteousness have your fathers found in me, that they have gone far from me, and have walked after worthless vanity, and have become worthless?

Und sie sagten nicht: Wo ist Jehovah, Der uns aus dem Land Ägypten hat heraufgebracht, Der uns in der Wüste gehen ließ, in dem Land der Einöde und der Fallgruben, im Land der Dürre und des Todesschattens, im Land, da kein Mann hindurchgeht, und kein Mensch darin wohnt?

Y no dijeron: ¿Dónde está Jehová, que nos hizo subir de tierra de Egipto, que nos hizo andar por el desierto, por una tierra desierta y despoblada, por tierra seca y de sombra de muerte, por una tierra por la cual no pasó varón, ni allí habitó hombre?

Neither said they, Where is the LORD that brought us up out of the land of Egypt, that led us through the wilderness, through a land of deserts and of pits, through a land of drought, and of the shadow of death, through a land that no man passed through, and where no man dwelt?

They didn’t say, ‘Where is the LORD who brought us up out of the land of Egypt, who led us through the wilderness, through a land of deserts and of pits, through a land of drought and of the shadow of death, through a land that no one passed through, and where no man lived?’

Und Ich brachte euch in ein Land der Fruchtgefilde, damit ihr äßet seine Frucht und sein Gut; ihr aber kamt und verunreinigtet Mein Land und machtet Mein Erbe zum Greuel.

Y os metí en tierra de Carmelo, para que comieseis su fruto y su bien: mas entrasteis, y contaminasteis mi tierra, é hicisteis mi heredad abominable.

And I brought you into a plentiful country, to eat the fruit thereof and the goodness thereof; but when ye entered, ye defiled my land, and made mine heritage an abomination.

I brought you into a plentiful land to eat its fruit and its goodness; but when you entered, you defiled my land, and made my heritage an abomination.

Die Priester sagen nicht: Wo ist Jehovah? Und die das Gesetz handhaben, kennen Mich nicht, und die Hirten sind von Mir abgefallen, und die Propheten weissagen durch Baal, und gehen denen nach, die nichts nützen.

Los sacerdotes no dijeron: ¿Dónde está Jehová? y los que tenían la ley no me conocieron; y los pastores se rebelaron contra mí, y los profetas profetizaron en Baal, y anduvieron tras lo que no aprovecha.

The priests said not, Where is the LORD? and they that handle the law knew me not: the pastors also transgressed against me, and the prophets prophesied by Baal, and walked after things that do not profit.

The priests didn’t say, ‘Where is the LORD?’ and those who handle the law didn’t know me. The rulers also transgressed against me, and the prophets prophesied by Baal and followed things that do not profit.

Darum muß Ich noch mit euch hadern, spricht Jehovah, und mit den Söhnen eurer Söhne muß Ich hadern.

Por tanto entraré aún en juicio con vosotros, dijo Jehová, y con los hijos de vuestros hijos pleitearé.

Wherefore I will yet plead with you, saith the LORD, and with your children’s children will I plead.

“Therefore I will yet contend with you,” says the LORD, “and I will contend with your children’s children.

Denn geht hinüber nach den Inseln der Kittäer und sehet, und sendet nach Kedar und merket sehr darauf, und sehet, ob dergleichen geschieht.

Porque pasad á las islas de Chîttim y mirad; y enviad á Cedar, y considerad cuidadosamente, y ved si se ha hecho cosa semejante á ésta:

For pass over the isles of Chittim, and see; and send unto Kedar, and consider diligently, and see if there be such a thing.

For pass over to the islands of Kittim, and see. Send to Kedar, and consider diligently, and see if there has been such a thing.

Hat je eine Völkerschaft die Götter vertauscht, obschon sie keine Götter sind? Aber Mein Volk hat seine Herrlichkeit vertauscht mit etwas, das kein nütze ist.

Si alguna gente ha mudado sus dioses, bien que ellos no son dioses. Pero mi pueblo ha trocado su gloria por lo que no aprovecha.

Hath a nation changed their gods, which are yet no gods? but my people have changed their glory for that which doth not profit.

Has a nation changed its gods, which really are no gods? But my people have changed their glory for that which doesn’t profit.

Erstaunt darob, ihr Himmel und schaudert, werdet sehr öde, spricht Jehovah.

Espantaos, cielos, sobre esto, y horrorizaos; desolaos en gran manera, dijo Jehová.

Be astonished, O ye heavens, at this, and be horribly afraid, be ye very desolate, saith the LORD.

“Be astonished, you heavens, at this and be horribly afraid. Be very desolate,” says the LORD.

Denn zweifach Böses hat Mein Volk getan: sie haben Mich verlassen, den Born lebendiger Wasser, um sich Gruben auszuhauen, zerbrochene Gruben, die kein Wasser fassen.

Porque dos males ha hecho mi pueblo: dejáronme á mí, fuente de agua viva, por cavar para sí cisternas, cisternas rotas que no detienen aguas.

For my people have committed two evils; they have forsaken me the fountain of living waters, and hewed them out cisterns, broken cisterns, that can hold no water.

“For my people have committed two evils: they have forsaken me, the spring of living waters, and cut out cisterns for themselves: broken cisterns that can’t hold water.

Ist Israel ein Knecht, ist er ein Kind des Hauses? Warum ist er zum Raub geworden?

¿Es Israel siervo? ¿es esclavo? ¿por qué ha sido dado en presa?

Is Israel a servant? is he a homeborn slave? why is he spoiled?

Is Israel a slave? Is he born into slavery? Why has he become a captive?

Wider ihn brüllen die jungen Löwen, sie geben ihre Stimme hervor und machen sein Land zur Verwüstung, seine Städte werden angezündet, ohne Bewohner.

Los cachorros de los leones bramaron sobre él, dieron su voz; y pusieron su tierra en soledad; quemadas están sus ciudades, sin morador.

The young lions roared upon him, and yelled, and they made his land waste: his cities are burned without inhabitant.

The young lions have roared at him and raised their voices. They have made his land waste. His cities are burned up, without inhabitant.

Auch die Söhne von Noph und Thachpanches weiden ab dir den Scheitel.

Aun los hijos de Noph y de Taphnes te quebrantaron la mollera.

Also the children of Noph and Tahapanes have broken the crown of thy head.

The children also of Memphis and Tahpanhes have broken the crown of your head.

Hast du nicht selbst dir dies damit getan, daß du Jehovah, deinen Gott, verließest zur Zeit, da Er dich auf dem Wege gehen ließ?

¿No te acarreó esto tu dejar á Jehová tu Dios, cuando te hacía andar por camino?

Hast thou not procured this unto thyself, in that thou hast forsaken the LORD thy God, when he led thee by the way?

“Haven’t you brought this on yourself, in that you have forsaken the LORD your God, when he led you by the way?

Und nun, was hast du mit dem Weg Ägyptens, daß du Schichors Wasser trinkst, und was hast du mit dem Wege Aschurs, daß du des Flusses Wasser trinkst?

Ahora pues, ¿qué tienes tú en el camino de Egipto, para que bebas agua del Nilo? ¿y qué tienes tú en el camino de Asiria, para que bebas agua del río?

And now what hast thou to do in the way of Egypt, to drink the waters of Sihor? or what hast thou to do in the way of Assyria, to drink the waters of the river?

Now what do you gain by going to Egypt, to drink the waters of the Shihor? Or why do you go on the way to Assyria, to drink the waters of the River?

Züchtigen wird dich deine Bosheit und dein Zurückwenden dich rügen, und wisse und siehe, daß es böse und bitter ist, daß du Jehovah, deinen Gott, verließest, und keine Scheu vor Mir in dir ist, spricht der Herr Jehovah der Heerscharen.

Tu maldad te castigará, y tu apartamiento te condenará: sabe pues y ve cuán malo y amargo es tu dejar á Jehová tu Dios, y faltar mi temor en ti, dice el Señor Jehová de los ejércitos.

Thine own wickedness shall correct thee, and thy backslidings shall reprove thee: know therefore and see that it is an evil thing and bitter, that thou hast forsaken the LORD thy God, and that my fear is not in thee, saith the Lord GOD of hosts.

“Your own wickedness will correct you, and your backsliding will rebuke you. Know therefore and see that it is an evil and bitter thing, that you have forsaken the LORD your God, and that my fear is not in you,” says the Lord, GOD of Armies.

Denn du hast von Ewigkeit her dein Joch zerbrochen, abgerissen deine Bande und gesagt: Ich will nicht dienen; aber auf jedem hohen Hügel und unter jedem grünen Baum hast du als Buhlerin dich gelagert.

Porque desde muy atrás he quebrado tu yugo, y roto tus ataduras; y dijiste: No serviré. Con todo eso, sobre todo collado alto y debajo de todo árbol umbroso, corrías tú, oh ramera.

For of old time I have broken thy yoke, and burst thy bands; and thou saidst, I will not transgress; when upon every high hill and under every green tree thou wanderest, playing the harlot.

“For long ago I broke off your yoke, and burst your bonds. You said, ‘I will not serve;’ for on every high hill and under every green tree you bowed yourself, playing the prostitute.

Und Ich hatte dich gepflanzt ganz als Edelrebe, einen Samen der Wahrheit, und wie hast du dich Mir in einen ausgearteten ausländischen Weinstock verwandelt!

Y yo te planté de buen vidueño, simiente verdadera toda ella: ¿cómo pues te me has tornado sarmientos de vid extraña?

Yet I had planted thee a noble vine, wholly a right seed: how then art thou turned into the degenerate plant of a strange vine unto me?

Yet I had planted you a noble vine, a pure and faithful seed. How then have you turned into the degenerate branches of a foreign vine to me?

Ja, wüschest du mit Lauge dich und mehrtest dir die Seife, ist deine Missetat doch vor Mir besudelt, spricht der Herr Jehovah.

Aunque te laves con lejía, y amontones jabón sobre ti, tu pecado está sellado delante de mí, dijo el Señor Jehová.

For though thou wash thee with nitre, and take thee much soap, yet thine iniquity is marked before me, saith the Lord GOD.

For though you wash yourself with lye, and use much soap, yet your iniquity is marked before me,” says the Lord GOD.

Wie sagst du: Ich bin nicht verunreinigt, gehe den Baalen nicht nach? Siehe deinen Weg in der Schlucht und erkenne, was du getan! Ein schnelles Dromedar bist du, das seine Wege kreuzt;

¿Cómo dices: No soy inmunda, nunca anduve tras los Baales? Mira tu proceder en el valle, conoce lo que has hecho, dromedaria ligera que frecuentas sus carreras;

How canst thou say, I am not polluted, I have not gone after Baalim? see thy way in the valley, know what thou hast done: thou art a swift dromedary traversing her ways;

“How can you say, ‘I am not defiled. I have not gone after the Baals’? See your way in the valley. Know what you have done. You are a swift dromedary traversing her ways,

Eine Waldeselin, der Wüste gewohnt, schnappt sie in ihrer Seele Gelüste nach dem Winde; wer hält ihre Brunst zurück? Alle, so sie suchen, werden nicht matt, in ihrem Monat finden sie sie.

Asna montés acostumbrada al desierto, que respira como quiere; ¿de su ocasión quién la detendrá? Todos los que la buscaren no se cansarán; hallaránla en su mes.

A wild ass used to the wilderness, that snuffeth up the wind at her pleasure; in her occasion who can turn her away? all they that seek her will not weary themselves; in her month they shall find her.

a wild donkey used to the wilderness, that sniffs the wind in her craving. When she is in heat, who can turn her away? All those who seek her will not weary themselves. In her month, they will find her.

Halt ab deinen Fuß von der Blöße, und deine Kehle von dem Durst! Du sprichst aber: Es ist verzweifelt! Nein! denn Fremde liebe ich und gehe ihnen nach.

Defiende tus pies de andar descalzos, y tu garganta de la sed. Mas dijiste: Hase perdido la esperanza; en ninguna manera: porque extraños he amado, y tras ellos tengo de ir.

Withhold thy foot from being unshod, and thy throat from thirst: but thou saidst, There is no hope: no; for I have loved strangers, and after them will I go.

“Keep your feet from being bare, and your throat from thirst. But you said, ‘It is in vain. No, for I have loved strangers, and I will go after them.’

Wie die Scham des Diebes, wenn er ausgefunden wird, so werden beschämt die vom Hause Israel, sie, ihre Könige, ihre Obersten und ihre Priester und ihre Propheten.

Como se avergüenza el ladrón cuando es tomado, así se avergonzarán la casa de Israel, ellos, sus reyes, sus príncipes, sus sacerdotes, y sus profetas;

As the thief is ashamed when he is found, so is the house of Israel ashamed; they, their kings, their princes, and their priests, and their prophets,

Zum Holze sagten sie: Du bist mein Vater, und zum Steine: Du hast mich gezeugt! Mir aber wandten sie den Rücken zu, und nicht das Angesicht. Aber zur Zeit ihres Übels sprechen sie: Stehe auf und rette uns!

Que dicen al leño: Mi padre eres tú; y á la piedra: Tú me has engendrado: pues me volvieron la cerviz, y no el rostro; y en el tiempo de su trabajo dicen: Levántate, y líbranos.

Saying to a stock, Thou art my father; and to a stone, Thou hast brought me forth: for they have turned their back unto me, and not their face: but in the time of their trouble they will say, Arise, and save us.

who tell wood, ‘You are my father,’ and a stone, ‘You have given birth to me,’ for they have turned their back to me, and not their face, but in the time of their trouble they will say, ‘Arise, and save us!’

Und wo sind deine Götter, die du dir gemacht? Laß sie aufstehen, ob sie zur Zeit deines Übels dich retten können? Denn wie die Zahl deiner Städte, so waren deine Götter, Judah!

¿Y dónde están tus dioses que hiciste para ti? Levántense, á ver si te podrán librar en el tiempo de tu aflicción: porque según el número de tus ciudades, oh Judá, fueron tus dioses.

But where are thy gods that thou hast made thee? let them arise, if they can save thee in the time of thy trouble: for according to the number of thy cities are thy gods, O Judah.

“But where are your gods that you have made for yourselves? Let them arise, if they can save you in the time of your trouble, for you have as many gods as you have towns, O Judah.

Warum wollt ihr mit Mir hadern? Ihr alle seid von Mir abgefallen, spricht Jehovah.

¿Por qué porfías conmigo? Todos vosotros prevaricasteis contra mí, dice Jehová.

Wherefore will ye plead with me? ye all have transgressed against me, saith the LORD.

“Why will you contend with me? You all have transgressed against me,” says the LORD.

Vergeblich schlug Ich eure Söhne; sie nahmen keine Zucht an. Euer Schwert fraß eure Propheten, wie der Löwe, der verdirbt.

Por demás he azotado vuestros hijos; no han recibido corrección. Cuchillo devoró vuestros profetas como león destrozador.

In vain have I smitten your children; they received no correction: your own sword hath devoured your prophets, like a destroying lion.

“I have struck your children in vain. They received no correction. Your own sword has devoured your prophets, like a destroying lion.

O Geschlecht, ihr sehet das Wort Jehovahs! War eine Wüste Ich für Israel, ein Land des Dunkels? Warum spricht denn Mein Volk: Wir herrschen, wir kommen nicht mehr zu Dir?

¡Oh generación! ved vosotros la palabra de Jehová. ¿He sido yo á Israel soledad, ó tierra de tinieblas? ¿Por qué ha dicho mi pueblo: Señores somos; nunca más vendremos á ti?

O generation, see ye the word of the LORD. Have I been a wilderness unto Israel? a land of darkness? wherefore say my people, We are lords; we will come no more unto thee?

Generation, consider the LORD’s word. Have I been a wilderness to Israel? Or a land of thick darkness? Why do my people say, ‘We have broken loose. We will come to you no more’?

Vergißt denn die Jungfrau ihres Schmukkes, die Braut ihres Bandes? Aber Mein Volk hat Tage ohne Zahl Mein vergessen.

¿Olvídase la virgen de su atavío, ó la desposada de sus sartales? mas mi pueblo se ha olvidado de mí por días que no tienen número.

Can a maid forget her ornaments, or a bride her attire? yet my people have forgotten me days without number.

“Can a virgin forget her ornaments, or a bride her attire? Yet my people have forgotten me for days without number.

Was willst du deinen Weg gut machen, Liebe zu suchen? Darum hast du auch die Bosheiten deine Wege gelehrt.

¿Por qué abonas tu camino para hallar amor, pues aun á las malvadas enseñaste tus caminos?

Why trimmest thou thy way to seek love? therefore hast thou also taught the wicked ones thy ways.

How well you prepare your way to seek love! Therefore you have even taught the wicked women your ways.

Auch ist an deinen Fittichen gefunden worden das Blut der Seelen der Dürftigen, der Unschuldigen; nicht beim Einbruch fand Ich sie, sondern allüberall.

Aun en tus faldas se halló la sangre de las almas de los pobres, de los inocentes: no la hallé en excavación, sino en todas estas cosas.

Also in thy skirts is found the blood of the souls of the poor innocents: I have not found it by secret search, but upon all these.

Also the blood of the souls of the innocent poor is found in your skirts. You didn’t find them breaking in, but it is because of all these things.

Und du sprichst: Ich bin unschuldig, ja, Sein Zorn hat von mir sich zurückgewendet. Siehe, wir wollen rechten mit dir ob deiner Rede: Ich habe nicht gesündigt!

Y dices: Porque soy inocente, de cierto su ira se apartó de mí. He aquí yo entraré en juicio contigo, porque dijiste: No he pecado.

Yet thou sayest, Because I am innocent, surely his anger shall turn from me. Behold, I will plead with thee, because thou sayest, I have not sinned.

“Yet you said, ‘I am innocent. Surely his anger has turned away from me.’ “Behold, I will judge you, because you say, ‘I have not sinned.’

Was rennst du, so deinen Weg zu verändern? Auch Ägyptens wirst du dich schämen, wie du dich Aschurs schämtest.

¿Para qué discurres tanto, mudando tus caminos? También serás avergonzada de Egipto, como fuiste avergonzada de Asiria.

Why gaddest thou about so much to change thy way? thou also shalt be ashamed of Egypt, as thou wast ashamed of Assyria.

Why do you go about so much to change your ways? You will be ashamed of Egypt also, as you were ashamed of Assyria.

Von da auch wirst du ausgehen, und deine Hände auf deinem Haupte; denn Jehovah hat das verschmäht, worauf du vertraut hast, so daß dir mit ihnen nichts gelingen wird.

También saldrás de él con tus manos sobre tu cabeza: porque Jehová deshechó tus confianzas, y en ellas no tendrás buen suceso.

Yea, thou shalt go forth from him, and thine hands upon thine head: for the LORD hath rejected thy confidences, and thou shalt not prosper in them.

You will also leave that place with your hands on your head; for the LORD has rejected those in whom you trust, and you won’t prosper with them.
