"Va proclamer aux oreilles de Jérusalem ce qui suit: Ainsi parle l'Eternel: je te garde le souvenir de l'affection de ta jeunesse, de ton amour au temps de tes fiançailles, quand tu me suivais dans le désert, dans une région inculte.
Anda, y clama á los oídos de Jerusalem, diciendo: Así dice Jehová: Heme acordado de ti, de la misericordia de tu mocedad, del amor de tu desposorio, cuando andabas en pos de mí en el desierto, en tierra no sembrada.
Go and cry in the ears of Jerusalem, saying, Thus saith the LORD; I remember thee, the kindness of thy youth, the love of thine espousals, when thou wentest after me in the wilderness, in a land that was not sown.
“Go and proclaim in the ears of Jerusalem, saying, ‘The LORD says, “I remember for you the kindness of your youth, your love as a bride, how you went after me in the wilderness, in a land that was not sown.
lsraël est une chose sainte, appartenant à l'Eternel, les prémices de sa récolte: ceux qui en font leur nourriture sont en faute; il leur arrivera malheur," dit l'Eternel.
Santidad era Israel á Jehová, primicias de sus nuevos frutos. Todos los que le devoran pecarán; mal vendrá sobre ellos, dice Jehová.
Israel was holiness unto the LORD, and the firstfruits of his increase: all that devour him shall offend; evil shall come upon them, saith the LORD.

Voici ce que dit l'Eternel: "Quelle injustice vos pères avaient-ils découverte chez moi pour me fuir, pour s'attacher à des choses vaines et se complaire au néant?
Así dijo Jehová: ¿Qué maldad hallaron en mí vuestros padres, que se alejaron de mí, y se fueron tras la vanidad, y tornáronse vanos?
Thus saith the LORD, What iniquity have your fathers found in me, that they are gone far from me, and have walked after vanity, and are become vain?
The LORD says, “What unrighteousness have your fathers found in me, that they have gone far from me, and have walked after worthless vanity, and have become worthless?
Ils n'ont pas dit: Où est l'Eternel qui nous a fait monter du pays d'Egypte, qui nous a guidés à travers le désert, pays de solitude et de précipices, pays de sécheresse et d'ombres mortelles, pays où nul être humain n'avait passé, où nul fils d'Adam n'a séjourné?
Y no dijeron: ¿Dónde está Jehová, que nos hizo subir de tierra de Egipto, que nos hizo andar por el desierto, por una tierra desierta y despoblada, por tierra seca y de sombra de muerte, por una tierra por la cual no pasó varón, ni allí habitó hombre?
Neither said they, Where is the LORD that brought us up out of the land of Egypt, that led us through the wilderness, through a land of deserts and of pits, through a land of drought, and of the shadow of death, through a land that no man passed through, and where no man dwelt?

Je vous avais amenés dans un pays de vergers pour jouir de ses fruits et de ses richesses; mais une fois arrivés, vous avez souillé mon pays, et de mon domaine vous avez fait un objet d'horreur.
Y os metí en tierra de Carmelo, para que comieseis su fruto y su bien: mas entrasteis, y contaminasteis mi tierra, é hicisteis mi heredad abominable.
And I brought you into a plentiful country, to eat the fruit thereof and the goodness thereof; but when ye entered, ye defiled my land, and made mine heritage an abomination.

Les prêtres ne se sont pas demandé où est Dieu, les dépositaires de la Loi ne m'ont plus connu, les pasteurs me sont devenus infidèles, et les prophètes ont prophétisé au nom de Baal et suivi des êtres incapables de secourir.
Los sacerdotes no dijeron: ¿Dónde está Jehová? y los que tenían la ley no me conocieron; y los pastores se rebelaron contra mí, y los profetas profetizaron en Baal, y anduvieron tras lo que no aprovecha.
The priests said not, Where is the LORD? and they that handle the law knew me not: the pastors also transgressed against me, and the prophets prophesied by Baal, and walked after things that do not profit.
The priests didn’t say, ‘Where is the LORD?’ and those who handle the law didn’t know me. The rulers also transgressed against me, and the prophets prophesied by Baal and followed things that do not profit.
Aussi ne cesserai-je de m'élever contre vous, dit l'Eternel, et encore contre vos descendants je m'élèverai.
Por tanto entraré aún en juicio con vosotros, dijo Jehová, y con los hijos de vuestros hijos pleitearé.
Wherefore I will yet plead with you, saith the LORD, and with your children’s children will I plead.
“Therefore I will yet contend with you,” says the LORD, “and I will contend with your children’s children.
Car passez aux îles des Kittéens et regardez! Envoyez à Kêdar et observez attentivement! Voyez si pareille chose est jamais arrivée,
Porque pasad á las islas de Chîttim y mirad; y enviad á Cedar, y considerad cuidadosamente, y ved si se ha hecho cosa semejante á ésta:
For pass over the isles of Chittim, and see; and send unto Kedar, and consider diligently, and see if there be such a thing.

si un peuple a changé ses dieux (et encore ces dieux n'en sont pas! ) tandis que mon peuple a troqué sa gloire contre des objets sans valeur!
Si alguna gente ha mudado sus dioses, bien que ellos no son dioses. Pero mi pueblo ha trocado su gloria por lo que no aprovecha.
Hath a nation changed their gods, which are yet no gods? but my people have changed their glory for that which doth not profit.

Cieux, soyez stupéfaits de ceci, frissonnez, saisis d'une horreur profonde, dit l'Eternel.
Espantaos, cielos, sobre esto, y horrorizaos; desolaos en gran manera, dijo Jehová.
Be astonished, O ye heavens, at this, and be horribly afraid, be ye very desolate, saith the LORD.

Car il est double, le méfait commis par mon peuple: ils m'ont abandonné, moi, la source d'eau vive, pour se creuser des citernes, des citernes crevassées, qui ne peuvent retenir les eaux.
Porque dos males ha hecho mi pueblo: dejáronme á mí, fuente de agua viva, por cavar para sí cisternas, cisternas rotas que no detienen aguas.
For my people have committed two evils; they have forsaken me the fountain of living waters, and hewed them out cisterns, broken cisterns, that can hold no water.
“For my people have committed two evils: they have forsaken me, the spring of living waters, and cut out cisterns for themselves: broken cisterns that can’t hold water.
Israël est-il un esclave? Est-il, par sa naissance, voué à la servitude? Pourquoi donc est-il livré au pillage?
¿Es Israel siervo? ¿es esclavo? ¿por qué ha sido dado en presa?
Is Israel a servant? is he a homeborn slave? why is he spoiled?
Is Israel a slave? Is he born into slavery? Why has he become a captive?
Contre lui des lionceaux rugissent, poussent leurs cris; ils réduisent son pays en solitude, ses villes en cendres n'ont plus d'habitants.
Los cachorros de los leones bramaron sobre él, dieron su voz; y pusieron su tierra en soledad; quemadas están sus ciudades, sin morador.
The young lions roared upon him, and yelled, and they made his land waste: his cities are burned without inhabitant.
The young lions have roared at him and raised their voices. They have made his land waste. His cities are burned up, without inhabitant.
Jusqu'aux fils de Nof et de Tahpanhès qui te meurtrissent la tête.
Aun los hijos de Noph y de Taphnes te quebrantaron la mollera.
Also the children of Noph and Tahapanes have broken the crown of thy head.

Ah! Ce qui t'arrive provient de ce que tu as délaissé l'Eternel, ton Dieu, au moment où il te servait de guide sur la route.
¿No te acarreó esto tu dejar á Jehová tu Dios, cuando te hacía andar por camino?
Hast thou not procured this unto thyself, in that thou hast forsaken the LORD thy God, when he led thee by the way?
“Haven’t you brought this on yourself, in that you have forsaken the LORD your God, when he led you by the way?
Et maintenant que te sert de prendre le chemin de l'Egypte pour boire l'eau du Nil? Et que te sert de prendre le chemin de l'Assyrie pour boire l'eau du fleuve?
Ahora pues, ¿qué tienes tú en el camino de Egipto, para que bebas agua del Nilo? ¿y qué tienes tú en el camino de Asiria, para que bebas agua del río?
And now what hast thou to do in the way of Egypt, to drink the waters of Sihor? or what hast thou to do in the way of Assyria, to drink the waters of the river?
Now what do you gain by going to Egypt, to drink the waters of the Shihor? Or why do you go on the way to Assyria, to drink the waters of the River?
Puissent tes fautes te corriger et tes désordres te devenir une leçon! Réfléchis et considère que c'est chose mauvaise et amère d'abandonner l'Eternel, ton Dieu, et de cesser de me craindre, dit le Seigneur, le Dieu-Cebaot.
Tu maldad te castigará, y tu apartamiento te condenará: sabe pues y ve cuán malo y amargo es tu dejar á Jehová tu Dios, y faltar mi temor en ti, dice el Señor Jehová de los ejércitos.
Thine own wickedness shall correct thee, and thy backslidings shall reprove thee: know therefore and see that it is an evil thing and bitter, that thou hast forsaken the LORD thy God, and that my fear is not in thee, saith the Lord GOD of hosts.
“Your own wickedness will correct you, and your backsliding will rebuke you. Know therefore and see that it is an evil and bitter thing, that you have forsaken the LORD your God, and that my fear is not in you,” says the Lord, GOD of Armies.
Car jadis j'avais brisé ton joug, rompu tes liens, et tu disais: "Je ne serai plus infidèle." Or, sur toute colline élevée, sous tout arbre verdoyant tu te comportes en courtisane.
Porque desde muy atrás he quebrado tu yugo, y roto tus ataduras; y dijiste: No serviré. Con todo eso, sobre todo collado alto y debajo de todo árbol umbroso, corrías tú, oh ramera.
For of old time I have broken thy yoke, and burst thy bands; and thou saidst, I will not transgress; when upon every high hill and under every green tree thou wanderest, playing the harlot.
“For long ago I broke off your yoke, and burst your bonds. You said, ‘I will not serve;’ for on every high hill and under every green tree you bowed yourself, playing the prostitute.
Et moi, je t'avais plantée comme une vigne de choix, d'une espèce tolite loyale; hélas! comme tu t'es changée pour moi en sarments d'une vigne bâtarde!
Y yo te planté de buen vidueño, simiente verdadera toda ella: ¿cómo pues te me has tornado sarmientos de vid extraña?
Yet I had planted thee a noble vine, wholly a right seed: how then art thou turned into the degenerate plant of a strange vine unto me?
Yet I had planted you a noble vine, a pure and faithful seed. How then have you turned into the degenerate branches of a foreign vine to me?
Quand même tu te laverais avec le nitre et que tu userais en abondance de potasse, ton crime resterait ineffaçable devant moi, dit le Seigneur, l'Eternel.
Aunque te laves con lejía, y amontones jabón sobre ti, tu pecado está sellado delante de mí, dijo el Señor Jehová.
For though thou wash thee with nitre, and take thee much soap, yet thine iniquity is marked before me, saith the Lord GOD.
For though you wash yourself with lye, and use much soap, yet your iniquity is marked before me,” says the Lord GOD.
Comment oses-tu dire: "Je ne suis point souillée, je n'ai pas suivi les Baal!" Regarde tes courses dans la vallée, songe à ce que tu as fait, ô chamelle légère, aux allures désordonnées!
¿Cómo dices: No soy inmunda, nunca anduve tras los Baales? Mira tu proceder en el valle, conoce lo que has hecho, dromedaria ligera que frecuentas sus carreras;
How canst thou say, I am not polluted, I have not gone after Baalim? see thy way in the valley, know what thou hast done: thou art a swift dromedary traversing her ways;
“How can you say, ‘I am not defiled. I have not gone after the Baals’? See your way in the valley. Know what you have done. You are a swift dromedary traversing her ways,
Anesse sauvage, habituée au désert, aspirant le vent dans la fougue de ses désirs, qui pourra refréner son ardeur? Ceux qui lia recherchent n'ont pas à se fatiguer, ils la trouvent dans le mois de ses amours?
Asna montés acostumbrada al desierto, que respira como quiere; ¿de su ocasión quién la detendrá? Todos los que la buscaren no se cansarán; hallaránla en su mes.
A wild ass used to the wilderness, that snuffeth up the wind at her pleasure; in her occasion who can turn her away? all they that seek her will not weary themselves; in her month they shall find her.
a wild donkey used to the wilderness, that sniffs the wind in her craving. When she is in heat, who can turn her away? All those who seek her will not weary themselves. In her month, they will find her.
Ne te condamne donc pas à marcher pieds nus, que ton gosier ne souffre plus de la soif! Mais tu as dit: "A quoi bon? Non, j'aime [es étrangers, c'est eux que je veux suivre."
Defiende tus pies de andar descalzos, y tu garganta de la sed. Mas dijiste: Hase perdido la esperanza; en ninguna manera: porque extraños he amado, y tras ellos tengo de ir.
Withhold thy foot from being unshod, and thy throat from thirst: but thou saidst, There is no hope: no; for I have loved strangers, and after them will I go.
“Keep your feet from being bare, and your throat from thirst. But you said, ‘It is in vain. No, for I have loved strangers, and I will go after them.’
Comme est confus le voleur quand il est surpris, ainsi seront confus les gens d'Israël, eux, leurs rois, leurs princes, leur prêtres et leurs prophètes.
Como se avergüenza el ladrón cuando es tomado, así se avergonzarán la casa de Israel, ellos, sus reyes, sus príncipes, sus sacerdotes, y sus profetas;
As the thief is ashamed when he is found, so is the house of Israel ashamed; they, their kings, their princes, and their priests, and their prophets,

Ils disent au bois: "Tu es mon père!" à la pierre: "C'est toi qui m'as donné la vie!" Oui, ils m'ont présenté la nuque et non la face; puis, à l'heure de leur détresse, ils s'écrient: "Lève-toi et viens à notre secours!"
Que dicen al leño: Mi padre eres tú; y á la piedra: Tú me has engendrado: pues me volvieron la cerviz, y no el rostro; y en el tiempo de su trabajo dicen: Levántate, y líbranos.
Saying to a stock, Thou art my father; and to a stone, Thou hast brought me forth: for they have turned their back unto me, and not their face: but in the time of their trouble they will say, Arise, and save us.
who tell wood, ‘You are my father,’ and a stone, ‘You have given birth to me,’ for they have turned their back to me, and not their face, but in the time of their trouble they will say, ‘Arise, and save us!’
Eh bien! Où sont-ils ces dieux que tu t'es fabriqués? Qu'ils se lèvent, s'ils sont capables de te prêter assistance dans les jours de détresse, puisque nombreux comme tes villes ont été tes dieux, ô Juda!
¿Y dónde están tus dioses que hiciste para ti? Levántense, á ver si te podrán librar en el tiempo de tu aflicción: porque según el número de tus ciudades, oh Judá, fueron tus dioses.
But where are thy gods that thou hast made thee? let them arise, if they can save thee in the time of thy trouble: for according to the number of thy cities are thy gods, O Judah.
“But where are your gods that you have made for yourselves? Let them arise, if they can save you in the time of your trouble, for you have as many gods as you have towns, O Judah.
Pourquoi me prenez-vous à partie? Tous, vous m'avez été infidèles, dit l'Eternel.
¿Por qué porfías conmigo? Todos vosotros prevaricasteis contra mí, dice Jehová.
Wherefore will ye plead with me? ye all have transgressed against me, saith the LORD.
“Why will you contend with me? You all have transgressed against me,” says the LORD.
C'est en vain que j'ai frappé vos enfants: ils n'ont pas accepté de réprimande; votre glaive a dévoré vos prophètes, tel un lion exerce ses ravages.
Por demás he azotado vuestros hijos; no han recibido corrección. Cuchillo devoró vuestros profetas como león destrozador.
In vain have I smitten your children; they received no correction: your own sword hath devoured your prophets, like a destroying lion.
“I have struck your children in vain. They received no correction. Your own sword has devoured your prophets, like a destroying lion.
O génération ingrate, considérez donc la parole de l'Eternel: Ai-je été un désert pour Israël ou une terre ténébreuse? Pourquoi mon peuple dit-il: "Nous sommes nos maîtres, nous n'irons plus à toi?"
¡Oh generación! ved vosotros la palabra de Jehová. ¿He sido yo á Israel soledad, ó tierra de tinieblas? ¿Por qué ha dicho mi pueblo: Señores somos; nunca más vendremos á ti?
O generation, see ye the word of the LORD. Have I been a wilderness unto Israel? a land of darkness? wherefore say my people, We are lords; we will come no more unto thee?
Generation, consider the LORD’s word. Have I been a wilderness to Israel? Or a land of thick darkness? Why do my people say, ‘We have broken loose. We will come to you no more’?
Une vierge oublie-t-elle sa parure, une fiancée ses atours? Et mon peuple m'a oublié depuis des jours sans nombre!
¿Olvídase la virgen de su atavío, ó la desposada de sus sartales? mas mi pueblo se ha olvidado de mí por días que no tienen número.
Can a maid forget her ornaments, or a bride her attire? yet my people have forgotten me days without number.
“Can a virgin forget her ornaments, or a bride her attire? Yet my people have forgotten me for days without number.
Comme tu savais rendre attrayante ta tenue, quand tu étais en quête d'amour! A la vérité, même les pires pratiques tu les as adoptées comme des habitudes.
¿Por qué abonas tu camino para hallar amor, pues aun á las malvadas enseñaste tus caminos?
Why trimmest thou thy way to seek love? therefore hast thou also taught the wicked ones thy ways.
How well you prepare your way to seek love! Therefore you have even taught the wicked women your ways.
Jusque sur les bords de tes vêtements, il se trouve du sang, celui des pauvres, victimes innocentes, que tu n'avais pas surprises en pleine effraction. Et en dépit de tout cela,
Aun en tus faldas se halló la sangre de las almas de los pobres, de los inocentes: no la hallé en excavación, sino en todas estas cosas.
Also in thy skirts is found the blood of the souls of the poor innocents: I have not found it by secret search, but upon all these.
Also the blood of the souls of the innocent poor is found in your skirts. You didn’t find them breaking in, but it is because of all these things.
tu oses dire: "Oui, je suis exempte de fautes, il est juste que sa colère se détourne de moi!" Mais voici que je t'appelle en justice pour avoir dit: "Je n'ai point failli."
Y dices: Porque soy inocente, de cierto su ira se apartó de mí. He aquí yo entraré en juicio contigo, porque dijiste: No he pecado.
Yet thou sayest, Because I am innocent, surely his anger shall turn from me. Behold, I will plead with thee, because thou sayest, I have not sinned.
“Yet you said, ‘I am innocent. Surely his anger has turned away from me.’ “Behold, I will judge you, because you say, ‘I have not sinned.’
Qu'as-tu à te presser de la sorte pour changer ta direction? Tu seras couverte de honte du fait de l'Egypte comme tu l'as été du fait de l'Assyrie.
¿Para qué discurres tanto, mudando tus caminos? También serás avergonzada de Egipto, como fuiste avergonzada de Asiria.
Why gaddest thou about so much to change thy way? thou also shalt be ashamed of Egypt, as thou wast ashamed of Assyria.
Why do you go about so much to change your ways? You will be ashamed of Egypt also, as you were ashamed of Assyria.
Tu t'en retireras également, les mains sur la tête; car le Seigneur repousse ceux en qui tu mets ta confiance, et tu n'as rien à gagner avec eux.
También saldrás de él con tus manos sobre tu cabeza: porque Jehová deshechó tus confianzas, y en ellas no tendrás buen suceso.
Yea, thou shalt go forth from him, and thine hands upon thine head: for the LORD hath rejected thy confidences, and thou shalt not prosper in them.
You will also leave that place with your hands on your head; for the LORD has rejected those in whom you trust, and you won’t prosper with them.
