o Senhor apareceu a nós vindo de longe, e disse a Israel: “Eu amei você, meu povo, desde a eternidade! Com muita bondade eu o trouxe para bem perto de mim.
Jehová se manifestó á mí ya mucho tiempo há, diciendo: Con amor eterno te he amado; por tanto te soporté con misericordia.

Mais uma vez você plantará videiras nos montes de Samaria; videiras que os lavradores plantarão e cujo fruto colherão.

Thou shalt yet plant vines upon the mountains of Samaria: the planters shall plant, and shall eat them as common things.

Virá o dia em que os vigias nas colinas de Efraim gritarão: ‘Vamos todos subir a Sião, à presença do Senhor, o nosso Deus!’ ”

For there shall be a day, that the watchmen upon the mount Ephraim shall cry, Arise ye, and let us go up to Zion unto the LORD our God.

Assim diz o Senhor: “Cantem de alegria por causa de Israel! Agora ela é a principal nação da terra! Cantem alegres louvores, dizendo: ‘O Senhor salvou o seu povo, o remanescente de Israel!’
Porque así ha dicho Jehová: Regocijaos en Jacob con alegría, y dad voces de júbilo á la cabeza de gentes; haced oir, alabad, y decid: Oh Jehová, salva tu pueblo, el resto de Israel.
For thus saith the LORD; Sing with gladness for Jacob, and shout among the chief of the nations: publish ye, praise ye, and say, O LORD, save thy people, the remnant of Israel.

Porque os trarei de volta da terra do norte; reunirei os que estão espalhados desde os confins da terra. Trarei com cuidado os cegos e aleijados, as mulheres grávidas e as que estão para dar à luz. Haverá grande multidão voltando para cá!

“Ouçam esta mensagem do Senhor, ó nações da terra! Anunciem estas palavras nas terras distantes: ‘Aquele que espalhou o povo de Israel pela terra vai reuni-lo e vigiá-lo como um pastor vigia o seu rebanho’.

O Senhor livrará Israel dos inimigos mais fortes do que ele.

Voltarão para a sua terra; cantarão de felicidade no alto do monte Sião, cheios de alegria pelas provas da bondade do Senhor — pelas belas colheitas de cereais e de uvas, muito vinho e azeite puro, grandes rebanhos de gado e ovelhas. A vida dos israelitas será bela e feliz como um jardim regado; para eles, a tristeza vai acabar.
Y vendrán, y harán alabanzas en lo alto de Sión, y correrán al bien de Jehová, al pan, y al vino, y al aceite, y al ganado de las ovejas y de las vacas; y su alma será como huerto de riego, ni nunca más tendrán dolor.

Então as moças dançarão de alegria, e todos, jovens e velhos, tomarão parte na alegria. Transformarei as suas lágrimas em sorrisos. Darei consolo aos israelitas e os farei esquecer a sua dor e o sofrimento, e eles serão um povo realmente feliz!
Entonces la virgen se holgará en la danza, los mozos y los viejos juntamente; y su lloro tornaré en gozo, y los consolaré, y los alegraré de su dolor.

Assim diz o Senhor: “Ouve-se um choro triste, amargo, em Ramá! Raquel está chorando pelos seus filhos. Ela não quer ser consolada, porque todos os seus filhos já não existem”.
Así ha dicho Jehová: Voz fué oída en Ramá, llanto y lloro amargo: Rachêl que lamenta por sus hijos, no quiso ser consolada acerca de sus hijos, porque perecieron.
Thus saith the LORD; A voice was heard in Ramah, lamentation, and bitter weeping; Rahel weeping for her children refused to be comforted for her children, because they were not.

Assim diz o Senhor: “Pare de chorar, enxugue as suas lágrimas! Ouvi os seus pedidos, e você verá seus filhos novamente. Eles voltarão da terra do inimigo.
Así ha dicho Jehová: Reprime tu voz del llanto, y tus ojos de las lágrimas; porque salario hay para tu obra, dice Jehová, y volverán de la tierra del enemigo.
Thus saith the LORD; Refrain thy voice from weeping, and thine eyes from tears: for thy work shall be rewarded, saith the LORD; and they shall come again from the land of the enemy.

“Ouvi Efraim gemendo e dizendo: ‘O Senhor me castigou severamente, mas eu merecia esse castigo. Sou como um bezerro indomado que precisa ser disciplinado. Mude de novo o meu coração, e eu voltarei, porque o Senhor é o meu Deus.
Escuchando, he oído á Ephraim que se lamentaba: Azotásteme, y fuí castigado como novillo indómito: conviérteme y seré convertido; porque tú eres Jehová mi Dios.
I have surely heard Ephraim bemoaning himself thus; Thou hast chastised me, and I was chastised, as a bullock unaccustomed to the yoke: turn thou me, and I shall be turned; for thou art the LORD my God.
“I have surely heard Ephraim grieving thus, ‘You have chastised me, and I was chastised, as an untrained calf. Turn me, and I will be turned, for you are the LORD my God.
De fato, eu me afastei do Senhor, mas depois me arrependi! Depois que fui castigado, reconheci o meu erro. Fiquei envergonhado e humilhado comigo mesmo, vendo as coisas horríveis que fiz quando era jovem’.
Porque después que me convertí, tuve arrepentimiento, y después que me conocí, herí el muslo: avergoncéme, y confundíme, porque llevé la afrenta de mis mocedades.
Surely after that I was turned, I repented; and after that I was instructed, I smote upon my thigh: I was ashamed, yea, even confounded, because I did bear the reproach of my youth.

Efraim ainda é meu filho querido, o filho que eu amo. Mesmo depois do castigo, eu ainda amo Efraim. O meu coração bate mais forte por causa dele. Não posso deixar de mostrar o meu amor por Efraim!”, diz o Senhor.
¿No es Ephraim hijo precioso para mí? ¿no es niño delicioso? pues desde que hablé de él, heme acordado de él constantemente. Por eso mis entrañas se conmovieron por él: apiadado, tendré de él misericordia, dice Jehová.
Is Ephraim my dear son? is he a pleasant child? for since I spake against him, I do earnestly remember him still: therefore my bowels are troubled for him; I will surely have mercy upon him, saith the LORD.
Is Ephraim my dear son? Is he a darling child? For as often as I speak against him, I still earnestly remember him. Therefore my heart yearns for him. I will surely have mercy on him,” says the LORD.
“Coloquem sinais na estrada por onde passaram rumo à terra da escravidão! Prestem bem atenção, porque vocês hão de voltar por esse mesmo caminho! Volte, ó virgem Israel! Volte para sua própria terra, cada um para sua cidade!
Establécete señales, ponte majanos altos; nota atentamente la calzada, el camino por donde viniste: vuélvete, virgen de Israel, vuélvete á estas tus ciudades.
Set thee up waymarks, make thee high heaps: set thine heart toward the highway, even the way which thou wentest: turn again, O virgin of Israel, turn again to these thy cities.
“Set up road signs. Make guideposts. Set your heart toward the highway, even the way by which you went. Turn again, virgin of Israel. Turn again to these your cities.
Até quanto você vai andar perdida, ó filha desobediente? O Senhor criou algo novo nesta terra: uma mulher protegendo um homem”.
¿Hasta cuándo andarás errante, oh hija contumaz? porque Jehová criará una cosa nueva sobre la tierra: una hembra rodeará al varón.
How long wilt thou go about, O thou backsliding daughter? for the LORD hath created a new thing in the earth, A woman shall compass a man.

Assim diz o Senhor Todo-poderoso, o Deus de Israel: “Quando eu trouxer o meu povo de volta à sua terra, o povo de Judá e de suas cidades dirá novamente: ‘O Senhor o abençoe, ó morada da justiça, ó santo monte’.
Así ha dicho Jehová de los ejércitos, Dios de Israel: Aun dirán esta palabra en la tierra de Judá y en sus ciudades, cuando yo convertiré su cautiverio: Jehová te bendiga, oh morada de justicia, oh monte santo.
Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; As yet they shall use this speech in the land of Judah and in the cities thereof, when I shall bring again their captivity; The LORD bless thee, O habitation of justice, and mountain of holiness.
The LORD of Armies, the God of Israel, says: “Yet again they will use this speech in the land of Judah and in its cities, when I reverse their captivity: ‘The LORD bless you, habitation of righteousness, mountain of holiness.’
O povo viverá em Judá e em todas as suas cidades, bem como os lavradores e os pastores com seus rebanhos. Haverá paz e segurança

And there shall dwell in Judah itself, and in all the cities thereof together, husbandmen, and they that go forth with flocks.

porque eu dei alívio aos cansados e forças aos fracos”, diz o Senhor.
Porque habré embriagado el alma cansada, y henchido toda alma entristecida.

Então acordei e olhei ao redor e disse: “Que sonho maravilhoso o Senhor me deu!”

Mas o Senhor continuou e disse: “Virão dias em que farei aumentar o número de pessoas e de animais em Israel e Judá.
He aquí vienen días, dice Jehová, en que sembraré la casa de Israel y la casa de Judá de simiente de hombre y de simiente de animal.
Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will sow the house of Israel and the house of Judah with the seed of man, and with the seed of beast.

Como no passado fui cuidadoso em castigar Israel, destruindo suas cidades e arrancando o povo de sua terra, também serei cuidadoso em plantar e reconstruir a nação.
Y será que, como tuve cuidado de ellos para arrancar y derribar, y trastornar y perder, y afligir, así tendré cuidado de ellos para edificar y plantar, dice Jehová.
And it shall come to pass, that like as I have watched over them, to pluck up, and to break down, and to throw down, and to destroy, and to afflict; so will I watch over them, to build, and to plant, saith the LORD.
It will happen that, like as I have watched over them to pluck up and to break down and to overthrow and to destroy and to afflict, so I will watch over them to build and to plant,” says the LORD.
“Quando isso acontecer, ninguém mais vai citar o provérbio: ‘Os pais comeram uvas verdes, e os dentes dos filhos se tornaram ásperos’.
En aquellos días no dirán más: Los padres comieron las uvas agraces, y los dientes de los hijos tienen la dentera.
In those days they shall say no more, The fathers have eaten a sour grape, and the children’s teeth are set on edge.
“In those days they will say no more, “‘The fathers have eaten sour grapes, and the children’s teeth are set on edge.’
“Ao contrário, cada um morrerá pelos seus próprios pecados. Quem comer uvas verdes é que vai ter os dentes ásperos.
Sino que cada cual morirá por su maldad; los dientes de todo hombre que comiere las uvas agraces, tendrán la dentera.
But every one shall die for his own iniquity: every man that eateth the sour grape, his teeth shall be set on edge.

“Vai chegar o dia”, diz o Senhor, “em que farei uma nova aliança com o povo de Israel e de Judá.
He aquí que vienen días, dice Jehová, en los cuales haré nuevo pacto con la casa de Jacob y con la casa de Judá:
Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah:

Essa aliança será diferente da que fiz com seus antepassados, quando tomei os israelitas pela mão e tirei o meu povo do Egito. Eu tinha escolhido Israel como minha esposa, mas o povo não me quis; quebrou a minha aliança, por isso também o rejeitei”, diz o Senhor.
No como el pacto que hice con sus padres el día que tomé su mano para sacarlos de tierra de Egipto; porque ellos invalidaron mi pacto, bien que fuí yo un marido para ellos, dice Jehová:
Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the LORD:

“Esta é a aliança que farei com o povo de Israel depois daqueles dias”, diz o Senhor. “Gravarei as minhas leis no coração e na mente deles. Serei o seu Deus, e eles serão o meu povo.
Mas éste es el pacto que haré con la casa de Israel después de aquellos días, dice Jehová: Daré mi ley en sus entrañas, y escribiréla en sus corazones; y seré yo á ellos por Dios, y ellos me serán por pueblo.
But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.
“But this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days,” says the LORD: “I will put my law in their inward parts, and I will write it in their heart. I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
Já não será necessário ensinarem uns aos outros como conhecer o Senhor. Todos eles me conhecerão, tanto os grandes quanto os pequenos”, diz o Senhor. “Perdoarei todas as desobediências do meu povo e esquecerei completamente os seus pecados”.
Y no enseñará más ninguno á su prójimo, ni ninguno á su hermano, diciendo: Conoce á Jehová: porque todos me conocerán, desde el más pequeño de ellos hasta el más grande, dice Jehová: porque perdonaré la maldad de ellos, y no me acordaré más de su pecado.
And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.
They will no longer each teach his neighbor, and every man teach his brother, saying, ‘Know the LORD;’ for they will all know me, from their least to their greatest,” says the LORD, “for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.”
Assim diz o Senhor, que nos dá o sol para iluminar o dia, que marcou o tempo certo para a lua e as estrelas aparecerem no céu à noite, que agita o mar e levanta com grande barulho as ondas; o seu nome é o Senhor Todo-poderoso:
Así ha dicho Jehová, que da el sol para luz del día, las leyes de la luna y de las estrellas para luz de la noche; que parte la mar y braman sus ondas; Jehová de los ejércitos es su nombre:
Thus saith the LORD, which giveth the sun for a light by day, and the ordinances of the moon and of the stars for a light by night, which divideth the sea when the waves thereof roar; The LORD of hosts is his name:
The LORD, who gives the sun for a light by day, and the ordinances of the moon and of the stars for a light by night, who stirs up the sea, so that its waves roar— the LORD of Armies is his name, says:
“Somente se algum dia essas leis falharem diante de mim”, diz o Senhor, “deixará a descendência de Israel de ser uma nação na minha presença”.
Si estas leyes faltaren delante de mí, dice Jehová, también la simiente de Israel faltará para no ser nación delante de mí todos los días.
If those ordinances depart from before me, saith the LORD, then the seed of Israel also shall cease from being a nation before me for ever.
“If these ordinances depart from before me,” says the LORD, “then the offspring of Israel also will cease from being a nation before me forever.”
Assim diz o Senhor: “Se alguém conseguir medir os céus e explorar o interior da terra, então eu rejeitarei o povo de Israel para sempre por tudo o que eles fizeram”, diz o Senhor.
Así ha dicho Jehová: Si los cielos arriba se pueden medir, y buscarse abajo los fundamentos de la tierra, también yo desecharé toda la simiente de Israel por todo lo que hicieron, dice Jehová.
Thus saith the LORD; If heaven above can be measured, and the foundations of the earth searched out beneath, I will also cast off all the seed of Israel for all that they have done, saith the LORD.

“Vem aí o tempo”, diz o Senhor, “em que Jerusalém será reconstruída para o Senhor, desde a torre de Hananeel, a nordeste, até o portão da Esquina, a noroeste da cidade.
He aquí que vienen días, dice Jehová, y la ciudad será edificada á Jehová, desde la torre de Hananeel hasta la puerta del rincón.
Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that the city shall be built to the LORD from the tower of Hananeel unto the gate of the corner.

Os pedreiros trabalharão do morro de Garebe, a sudoeste, até Goa, a sudeste da cidade.
Y saldrá más adelante el cordel de la medida delante de él sobre el collado de Hareb, y rodeará á Goa.
And the measuring line shall yet go forth over against it upon the hill Gareb, and shall compass about to Goath.
The measuring line will go out further straight onward to the hill Gareb, and will turn toward Goah.
E toda a cidade, incluindo o cemitério e o vale onde se jogavam as cinzas, serão santos para o Senhor. O mesmo vai acontecer com os campos em direção ao riacho de Cedrom, e de lá ao portão dos Cavalos, a leste da cidade. Jerusalém nunca mais será conquistada ou destruída”.
Y todo el valle de los cuerpos muertos y de la ceniza, y todas las llanuras hasta el arroyo de Cedrón, hasta la esquina de la puerta de los caballos al oriente, será santo á Jehová: no será arrancada, ni destruída más para siempre.
And the whole valley of the dead bodies, and of the ashes, and all the fields unto the brook of Kidron, unto the corner of the horse gate toward the east, shall be holy unto the LORD; it shall not be plucked up, nor thrown down any more for ever.
