Esto dice el Señor: En el desierto el resto del pueblo, que quedó libre del castigo, halló gracia delante de mí; también Israel llegará a la tierra de su descanso.

Es verdad que me visitó el Señor, responde Israel, mas hace ya mucho tiempo. Te engañas, dice Dios, porque yo te he amado con perpetuo y no interrumpido amor; por eso, misericordioso, te atraje a mí.
Jehová se manifestó á mí ya mucho tiempo há, diciendo: Con amor eterno te he amado; por tanto te soporté con misericordia.

Y otra vez te renovaré y te daré nuevo ser, ¡oh virgen de Israel!; todavía saldrás acompañada del sonido de tus panderos, y caminarás rodeada de coros de música;
Aun te edificaré, y serás edificada, oh virgen de Israel: todavía serás adornada con tus panderos, y saldrás en corro de danzantes.
Again I will build thee, and thou shalt be built, O virgin of Israel: thou shalt again be adorned with thy tabrets, and shalt go forth in the dances of them that make merry.

todavía plantarás viñas en los montes de Samaria; y aquellos que las plantarán no recogerán su fruto hasta el tiempo prescrito.
Aun plantarás viñas en los montes de Samaria: plantarán los plantadores, y harán común uso de ellas.
Thou shalt yet plant vines upon the mountains of Samaria: the planters shall plant, and shall eat them as common things.

Porque tiempo vendrá en que los centinelas o jefes de mi pueblo clamarán sobre el monte de Efraín: Vamos todos, y subamos a Sión, al templo del Señor Dios nuestro.
Porque habrá día en que clamarán los guardas en el monte de Ephraim: Levantaos, y subamos á Sión, á Jehová nuestro Dios.
For there shall be a day, that the watchmen upon the mount Ephraim shall cry, Arise ye, and let us go up to Zion unto the LORD our God.
For there will be a day that the watchmen on the hills of Ephraim cry, ‘Arise! Let’s go up to Zion to the LORD our God.’”
Porque esto dice el Señor: Regocijaos y haced fiestas por amor de Jacob , y prorrumpid en gritos de júbilo al frente de las naciones; resuenen vuestros cánticos, y decid: ¡Salva, Señor, al pueblo tuyo, salva las reliquias de Israel!
Porque así ha dicho Jehová: Regocijaos en Jacob con alegría, y dad voces de júbilo á la cabeza de gentes; haced oir, alabad, y decid: Oh Jehová, salva tu pueblo, el resto de Israel.

Sabed, dice el Señor, que yo los conduciré a todos de las tierras del Norte, y los recogeré de los extremos de la tierra; entre ellos vendrán juntos el ciego y el cojo, la embarazada y la que dio a luz; grande será la muchedumbre de los que volverán acá.

Vendrán llorando de gozo, y yo, compadecido de ellos, los conduciré a la vuelta por en medio de arroyos de frescas aguas, vía recta y sin ningún tropiezo; porque padre soy yo de Israel; y Efraín es mi primogénito.
Irán con lloro, mas con misericordias los haré volver, y harélos andar junto á arroyos de aguas, por camino derecho en el cual no tropezarán: porque soy á Israel por padre, y Ephraim es mi primogénito.

Escuchad, ¡oh naciones!, la palabra del Señor, y anunciadla a las islas más remotas, y decid: Aquel mismo que dispersó a Israel, lo reunirá y lo guardará como guarda el pastor a su rebaño.
Oid palabra de Jehová, oh gentes, y hacedlo saber en las islas que están lejos, y decid: El que esparció á Israel lo juntará y guardará, como pastor á su ganado.
Hear the word of the LORD, O ye nations, and declare it in the isles afar off, and say, He that scattered Israel will gather him, and keep him, as a shepherd doth his flock.

Pues el Señor ha redimido a Jacob , y lo ha librado de las manos del prepotente.

Entonces se regocijarán las vírgenes al sonido de músicos instrumentos, y también los jóvenes a una con los ancianos. Yo cambiaré su llanto en gozo, y los consolaré, y los llenaré de alegría en cambio de su pasado dolor.
Entonces la virgen se holgará en la danza, los mozos y los viejos juntamente; y su lloro tornaré en gozo, y los consolaré, y los alegraré de su dolor.

Y saciaré el alma de los sacerdotes con otras carnes, y el pueblo mío será colmado de mis bienes, dice el Señor.

Porque esto dice el Señor: Se han oído más allá en lo alto voces de lamentos, de luto y de gemidos, y son de Raquel, que llora sus hijos, y no quiere admitir consuelo en orden a la muerte de ellos, visto que ya no existen.
Así ha dicho Jehová: Voz fué oída en Ramá, llanto y lloro amargo: Rachêl que lamenta por sus hijos, no quiso ser consolada acerca de sus hijos, porque perecieron.
Thus saith the LORD; A voice was heard in Ramah, lamentation, and bitter weeping; Rahel weeping for her children refused to be comforted for her children, because they were not.

El Señor dice así: Cesen tus labios de prorrumpir en voces de llanto, y tus ojos de derramar lágrimas; pues por tu pena recibirás galardón, dice el Señor, y ellos volverán de la tierra enemiga.
Así ha dicho Jehová: Reprime tu voz del llanto, y tus ojos de las lágrimas; porque salario hay para tu obra, dice Jehová, y volverán de la tierra del enemigo.
Thus saith the LORD; Refrain thy voice from weeping, and thine eyes from tears: for thy work shall be rewarded, saith the LORD; and they shall come again from the land of the enemy.

Y para tus últimos días te queda la segura esperanza, dice el Señor, de que tus hijos volverán a sus hogares.

And there is hope in thine end, saith the LORD, that thy children shall come again to their own border.
There is hope for your latter end,” says the LORD. “Your children will come again to their own territory.
He escuchado con atención a Efraín, que en su cautiverio dice: Tú me has castigado, oh Señor; yo cual indómito novillo he sido corregido. Conviérteme a ti, y yo me convertiré; pues tú, ¡oh Señor!, eres mi Dios.
Escuchando, he oído á Ephraim que se lamentaba: Azotásteme, y fuí castigado como novillo indómito: conviérteme y seré convertido; porque tú eres Jehová mi Dios.
I have surely heard Ephraim bemoaning himself thus; Thou hast chastised me, and I was chastised, as a bullock unaccustomed to the yoke: turn thou me, and I shall be turned; for thou art the LORD my God.
“I have surely heard Ephraim grieving thus, ‘You have chastised me, and I was chastised, as an untrained calf. Turn me, and I will be turned, for you are the LORD my God.
Porque estoy viendo ahora que después que tú me convertiste, yo he hecho penitencia; después que me iluminaste, he herido mi muslo; y he quedado confuso y avergonzado, porque he sufrido el oprobio de mi mocedad.
Porque después que me convertí, tuve arrepentimiento, y después que me conocí, herí el muslo: avergoncéme, y confundíme, porque llevé la afrenta de mis mocedades.
Surely after that I was turned, I repented; and after that I was instructed, I smote upon my thigh: I was ashamed, yea, even confounded, because I did bear the reproach of my youth.

¿No es Efraín para mí el hijo querido, el niño que yo he criado con ternura? Desde que yo le he hablado, le traigo siempre en la memoria; por eso se han conmovido por amor suyo mis entrañas. Y tendré para con él entrañas de misericordia, dice el Señor.
¿No es Ephraim hijo precioso para mí? ¿no es niño delicioso? pues desde que hablé de él, heme acordado de él constantemente. Por eso mis entrañas se conmovieron por él: apiadado, tendré de él misericordia, dice Jehová.
Is Ephraim my dear son? is he a pleasant child? for since I spake against him, I do earnestly remember him still: therefore my bowels are troubled for him; I will surely have mercy upon him, saith the LORD.
Is Ephraim my dear son? Is he a darling child? For as often as I speak against him, I still earnestly remember him. Therefore my heart yearns for him. I will surely have mercy on him,” says the LORD.
Seas, pues, oh Efraín, a manera de un centinela: Entrégate a las amarguras de la penitencia; convierte tu corazón hacia el recto camino, por donde anduviste; vuelve, ¡oh virgen de Israel!, vuelve, ¡oh pueblo mío!, vuelve a tus ciudades.
Establécete señales, ponte majanos altos; nota atentamente la calzada, el camino por donde viniste: vuélvete, virgen de Israel, vuélvete á estas tus ciudades.
Set thee up waymarks, make thee high heaps: set thine heart toward the highway, even the way which thou wentest: turn again, O virgin of Israel, turn again to these thy cities.
“Set up road signs. Make guideposts. Set your heart toward the highway, even the way by which you went. Turn again, virgin of Israel. Turn again to these your cities.
¿Hasta cuándo estás estragándote en medio de los deleites, oh hija perdida? Pues mira, el Señor ha hecho una cosa nueva, o milagrosa, sobre la tierra: Una mujer virgen encerrará dentro de sí al Hombre Dios.
¿Hasta cuándo andarás errante, oh hija contumaz? porque Jehová criará una cosa nueva sobre la tierra: una hembra rodeará al varón.
How long wilt thou go about, O thou backsliding daughter? for the LORD hath created a new thing in the earth, A woman shall compass a man.
How long will you go here and there, you backsliding daughter? For the LORD has created a new thing in the earth: a woman will encompass a man.”
Esto dice el Señor de los ejércitos, el Dios de Israel: Todavía se oirán estas palabras en la tierra de Judá y en sus ciudades, cuando yo hubiere redimido sus cautivos: Te bendiga el Señor, ¡oh mansión hermosa de la justicia, oh monte santo de Sión!
Así ha dicho Jehová de los ejércitos, Dios de Israel: Aun dirán esta palabra en la tierra de Judá y en sus ciudades, cuando yo convertiré su cautiverio: Jehová te bendiga, oh morada de justicia, oh monte santo.
Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; As yet they shall use this speech in the land of Judah and in the cities thereof, when I shall bring again their captivity; The LORD bless thee, O habitation of justice, and mountain of holiness.
The LORD of Armies, the God of Israel, says: “Yet again they will use this speech in the land of Judah and in its cities, when I reverse their captivity: ‘The LORD bless you, habitation of righteousness, mountain of holiness.’
Y habitará allí Judá y todas sus ciudades; así aquellos que labran la tierra como los que apacientan los ganados;
Y morarán allí Judá, y también en todas sus ciudades labradores, y los que van con rebaño.
And there shall dwell in Judah itself, and in all the cities thereof together, husbandmen, and they that go forth with flocks.
Judah and all its cities will dwell therein together, the farmers, and those who go about with flocks.
porque yo embriagaré en Sión a toda alma sedienta, y hartaré a todo hambriento.
Porque habré embriagado el alma cansada, y henchido toda alma entristecida.
For I have satiated the weary soul, and I have replenished every sorrowful soul.

Por eso desperté yo como de un sueño, y abrí los ojos, y me saboree con mi sueño profético.

He aquí que viene el tiempo, dice el Señor, en que yo sembraré la casa de Israel y la casa de Judá de simiente de hombres y de simiente de animales.

Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will sow the house of Israel and the house of Judah with the seed of man, and with the seed of beast.

Y al modo que puse mi atención en extirparlos, y abatirlos, y disiparlos, y desparramarlos, y afligirlos de mil maneras, así no perderé tiempo ahora para restaurarlos y plantarlos, dice el Señor.
Y será que, como tuve cuidado de ellos para arrancar y derribar, y trastornar y perder, y afligir, así tendré cuidado de ellos para edificar y plantar, dice Jehová.
And it shall come to pass, that like as I have watched over them, to pluck up, and to break down, and to throw down, and to destroy, and to afflict; so will I watch over them, to build, and to plant, saith the LORD.
It will happen that, like as I have watched over them to pluck up and to break down and to overthrow and to destroy and to afflict, so I will watch over them to build and to plant,” says the LORD.
En aquellos días no se oirá más aquel dicho: Los padres comieron uvas agraces, y los hijos padecieron la dentera.

In those days they shall say no more, The fathers have eaten a sour grape, and the children’s teeth are set on edge.
“In those days they will say no more, “‘The fathers have eaten sour grapes, and the children’s teeth are set on edge.’
Sino que cada uno morirá por su propio pecado: El hombre que comiere la uva agraz, ése sufrirá la dentera.
Sino que cada cual morirá por su maldad; los dientes de todo hombre que comiere las uvas agraces, tendrán la dentera.
But every one shall die for his own iniquity: every man that eateth the sour grape, his teeth shall be set on edge.
But everyone will die for his own iniquity. Every man who eats the sour grapes, his teeth will be set on edge.
He aquí que viene el tiempo, dice el Señor, en que yo haré una nueva alianza con la casa de Israel y con la casa de Judá.
He aquí que vienen días, dice Jehová, en los cuales haré nuevo pacto con la casa de Jacob y con la casa de Judá:
Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah:
“Behold, the days come,” says the LORD, “that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah,
Alianza, no como aquella que contraje con sus padres el día que los cogí por la mano para sacarlos de la tierra de Egipto; alianza que ellos invalidaron, y por tanto ejercí sobre ellos mi soberano dominio, dice el Señor.
No como el pacto que hice con sus padres el día que tomé su mano para sacarlos de tierra de Egipto; porque ellos invalidaron mi pacto, bien que fuí yo un marido para ellos, dice Jehová:
Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the LORD:

Mas ésta será la nueva alianza que yo haré, dice el Señor, con la casa de Israel, después que llegue aquel tiempo: Imprimiré mi ley en sus entrañas, y la grabaré en sus corazones; y yo seré su Dios, y ellos serán el pueblo mío.
Mas éste es el pacto que haré con la casa de Israel después de aquellos días, dice Jehová: Daré mi ley en sus entrañas, y escribiréla en sus corazones; y seré yo á ellos por Dios, y ellos me serán por pueblo.
But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.

Y no tendrá ya el hombre que hacer de maestro de su prójimo, ni el hermano de su hermano, diciendo: Conoce al Señor. Pues todos me conocerán, desde el más pequeño hasta el más grande, dice el Señor, porque yo perdonaré su iniquidad, y no me acordaré más de su pecado.
Y no enseñará más ninguno á su prójimo, ni ninguno á su hermano, diciendo: Conoce á Jehová: porque todos me conocerán, desde el más pequeño de ellos hasta el más grande, dice Jehová: porque perdonaré la maldad de ellos, y no me acordaré más de su pecado.
And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.
They will no longer each teach his neighbor, and every man teach his brother, saying, ‘Know the LORD;’ for they will all know me, from their least to their greatest,” says the LORD, “for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.”
Esto dice el Señor, aquel Señor que envía el sol para dar luz al día, y ordena el curso de la luna y de los astros para esclarecer la noche; el que alborota el mar, y al instante braman sus olas; el que se llama Señor de los ejércitos.
Así ha dicho Jehová, que da el sol para luz del día, las leyes de la luna y de las estrellas para luz de la noche; que parte la mar y braman sus ondas; Jehová de los ejércitos es su nombre:
Thus saith the LORD, which giveth the sun for a light by day, and the ordinances of the moon and of the stars for a light by night, which divideth the sea when the waves thereof roar; The LORD of hosts is his name:
The LORD, who gives the sun for a light by day, and the ordinances of the moon and of the stars for a light by night, who stirs up the sea, so that its waves roar— the LORD of Armies is his name, says:
Cuando estas leyes, dice el Señor, establecidas por mi providencia vinieren a faltar, entonces podrá faltar también el linaje de Israel, y dejar de ser nación perdurable a mi presencia.
Si estas leyes faltaren delante de mí, dice Jehová, también la simiente de Israel faltará para no ser nación delante de mí todos los días.
If those ordinances depart from before me, saith the LORD, then the seed of Israel also shall cease from being a nation before me for ever.
“If these ordinances depart from before me,” says the LORD, “then the offspring of Israel also will cease from being a nation before me forever.”
Esto dice todavía el Señor: Cuando alguno pudiere medir allá arriba los cielos, y escudriñar allá abajo los cimientos de la tierra, entonces podré yo reprobar a todo el linaje de Israel por sus fechorías, dice el Señor.
Así ha dicho Jehová: Si los cielos arriba se pueden medir, y buscarse abajo los fundamentos de la tierra, también yo desecharé toda la simiente de Israel por todo lo que hicieron, dice Jehová.
Thus saith the LORD; If heaven above can be measured, and the foundations of the earth searched out beneath, I will also cast off all the seed of Israel for all that they have done, saith the LORD.
The LORD says: “If heaven above can be measured, and the foundations of the earth searched out beneath, then I will also cast off all the offspring of Israel for all that they have done,” says the LORD.
Sabed que llega el tiempo, añade el Señor, en que será edificada por el Señor la ciudad desde la torre de Hananeel hasta la puerta llamada del Rincón.
He aquí que vienen días, dice Jehová, y la ciudad será edificada á Jehová, desde la torre de Hananeel hasta la puerta del rincón.
Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that the city shall be built to the LORD from the tower of Hananeel unto the gate of the corner.
“Behold, the days come,” says the LORD, “that the city will be built to the LORD from the tower of Hananel to the gate of the corner.
Y la línea de la demarcación se tirará más adelante en frente de esa puerta sobre el collado de Gareb, y seguirá dando vuelta por el Goata,
Y saldrá más adelante el cordel de la medida delante de él sobre el collado de Hareb, y rodeará á Goa.
And the measuring line shall yet go forth over against it upon the hill Gareb, and shall compass about to Goath.
The measuring line will go out further straight onward to the hill Gareb, and will turn toward Goah.
y por todo el Valle de los cadáveres y de la ceniza, y por todo el sitio de los ajusticiados, hasta el torrente de Cedrón y hasta la esquina de la puerta de los Caballos que está al oriente. El santuario del Señor nunca jamás será arrancado ni destruido.
Y todo el valle de los cuerpos muertos y de la ceniza, y todas las llanuras hasta el arroyo de Cedrón, hasta la esquina de la puerta de los caballos al oriente, será santo á Jehová: no será arrancada, ni destruída más para siempre.
And the whole valley of the dead bodies, and of the ashes, and all the fields unto the brook of Kidron, unto the corner of the horse gate toward the east, shall be holy unto the LORD; it shall not be plucked up, nor thrown down any more for ever.
