et je pris la lettre d’achat, celle qui était scellée †selon le commandement et les statuts, et celle qui était ouverte ;

Tomé luego la carta de venta, sellada según el derecho y costumbre, y el traslado abierto.

So I took the evidence of the purchase, both that which was sealed according to the law and custom, and that which was open:
