7Or l'esercito del re di Babilonia combatteva contro a Gerusalemme, e contro a tutte le città di Giuda, ch'erano rimaste, cioè, contro a Lachis, ed Azeca; perciocchè quelle sole ch'erano città forti, erano rimaste d'infra le città.

7When the king of Babylon’s army fought against Jerusalem, and against all the cities of Judah that were left, against Lachish, and against Azekah: for these defenced cities remained of the cities of Judah.
