14“As palavras de Jonadabe, filho de Recabe, que ele ordenou a seus filhos, para não beberem vinho, são cumpridas; e até o dia de hoje eles não bebem nenhum, pois obedecem ao mandamento de seu pai; mas eu tenho falado a vocês, madrugando e falando, e vocês não me deram ouvidos.

14Fué firme la palabra de Jonadab hijo de Rechâb, el cual mandó á sus hijos que no bebiesen vino, y no lo han bebido hasta hoy, por obedecer al mandamiento de su padre; y yo os he hablado á vosotros, madrugando y hablando, y no me habéis oído.

14The words of Jonadab the son of Rechab, that he commanded his sons not to drink wine, are performed; for unto this day they drink none, but obey their father’s commandment: notwithstanding I have spoken unto you, rising early and speaking; but ye hearkened not unto me.
