Jeremías 35

Palabras que el Señor dirigió a Jeremías en tiempo de Joakim, hijo de Josías, rey de Judá, diciéndole:

PALABRA que fué á Jeremías de Jehová en días de Joacim hijo de Josías, rey de Judá, diciendo:

The word which came unto Jeremiah from the LORD in the days of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah, saying,

The word which came to Jeremiah from the LORD in the days of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah, king of Judah, saying,

Anda, ve a la familia de los recabitas, y habla con ellos, y condúcelos a la casa o templo del Señor, a uno de los aposentos de los tesoros o repuestos, y preséntales vino para que beban.

Ve á casa de los Rechâbitas, y habla con ellos, é introdúcelos en la casa de Jehová, en una de las cámaras, y dales á beber vino.

Go unto the house of the Rechabites, and speak unto them, and bring them into the house of the LORD, into one of the chambers, and give them wine to drink.

“Go to the house of the Rechabites, and speak to them, and bring them into the LORD’s house, into one of the rooms, and give them wine to drink.”

Llevé, pues, conmigo a Jezonías, hijo de Jeremías, hijo de Habsanías, y a sus hermanos, y a todos sus hijos, y a la familia toda de los recabitas;

Tomé entonces á Jaazanías hijo de Jeremías, hijo de Habassinías, y á sus hermanos, y á todos sus hijos, y á toda la familia de los Rechâbitas;

Then I took Jaazaniah the son of Jeremiah, the son of Habaziniah, and his brethren, and all his sons, and the whole house of the Rechabites;

Then I took Jaazaniah the son of Jeremiah, the son of Habazziniah, with his brothers, all his sons, and the whole house of the Rechabites;

y los introduje a la casa del Señor, en el aposento llamado de los Tesoros, donde estaban los hijos de Hanán, hijo de Jegedelías, varón de Dios; aposento que estaba junto al tesoro de los príncipes, sobre la tesorería de Maasías, hijo de Sellum, el cual era el guarda del atrio del templo.

Y metílos en la casa de Jehová, en la cámara de los hijos de Hanán, hijo de Igdalías, varón de Dios, la cual estaba junto á la cámara de los príncipes, que estaba sobre la cámara de Maasías hijo de Sallum, guarda de los vasos.

And I brought them into the house of the LORD, into the chamber of the sons of Hanan, the son of Igdaliah, a man of God, which was by the chamber of the princes, which was above the chamber of Maaseiah the son of Shallum, the keeper of the door:

and I brought them into the LORD’s house, into the room of the sons of Hanan the son of Igdaliah, the man of God, which was by the room of the princes, which was above the room of Maaseiah the son of Shallum, the keeper of the threshold.

Y presenté a los hijos de la casa de los recabitas tazas y copas llenas de vino, y les dije: Bebed vino.

Y puse delante de los hijos de la familia de los Rechâbitas tazas y copas llenas de vino, y díjeles: Bebed vino.

And I set before the sons of the house of the Rechabites pots full of wine, and cups, and I said unto them, Drink ye wine.

I set before the sons of the house of the Rechabites bowls full of wine, and cups; and I said to them, “Drink wine!”

Mas ellos respondieron: No lo beberemos porque nuestro padre Jonadab, hijo de Recab, nos dejó este precepto: Nunca jamás beberéis vino, ni vosotros, ni vuestros hijos;

Mas ellos dijeron: No beberemos vino; porque Jonadab hijo de Rechâb nuestro padre nos mandó, diciendo: No beberéis jamás vino vosotros ni vuestros hijos:

But they said, We will drink no wine: for Jonadab the son of Rechab our father commanded us, saying, Ye shall drink no wine, neither ye, nor your sons for ever:

But they said, “We will drink no wine; for Jonadab the son of Rechab, our father, commanded us, saying, ‘You shall drink no wine, neither you nor your children, forever.

no edificaréis casa, ni sembraréis granos, ni plantaréis viñas, ni las poseeréis; sino que habitaréis en tiendas todos los días de vuestra vida, a fin de que viváis mucho tiempo sobre la tierra de Israel, en la cual sois vosotros peregrinos.

Ni edificaréis casa, ni sembraréis sementera, ni plantaréis viña, ni la tendréis: mas moraréis en tiendas todos vuestros días, para que viváis muchos días sobre la haz de la tierra donde vosotros peregrináis.

Neither shall ye build house, nor sow seed, nor plant vineyard, nor have any: but all your days ye shall dwell in tents; that ye may live many days in the land where ye be strangers.

You shall not build a house, sow seed, plant a vineyard, or have any; but all your days you shall dwell in tents, that you may live many days in the land in which you live as nomads.’

Hemos, pues, obedecido a la voz de nuestro padre Jonadab, hijo de Recab, en todo cuanto nos dejó mandado, y por eso no bebemos vino en toda nuestra vida nosotros, ni nuestras mujeres, ni los hijos, ni las hijas;

Y nosotros hemos obedecido á la voz de Jonadab nuestro padre, hijo de Rechâb, en todas las cosas que nos mandó, de no beber vino en todos nuestros días, nosotros, ni nuestras mujeres, ni nuestros hijos, ni nuestras hijas;

Thus have we obeyed the voice of Jonadab the son of Rechab our father in all that he hath charged us, to drink no wine all our days, we, our wives, our sons, nor our daughters;

We have obeyed the voice of Jonadab the son of Rechab, our father, in all that he commanded us, to drink no wine all our days, we, our wives, our sons, or our daughters;

ni construimos casas para nuestra habitación, ni tenemos viñas, ni campos, ni sementeras;

Y de no edificar casas para nuestra morada, y de no tener viña, ni heredad, ni sementera.

Nor to build houses for us to dwell in: neither have we vineyard, nor field, nor seed:

and not to build houses for ourselves to dwell in. We have no vineyard, field, or seed;

sino que habitamos en tiendas de campaña, y hemos sido obedientes a todos los preceptos que nos dejó Jonadab, nuestro padre.

Moramos pues en tiendas, y hemos obedecido y hecho conforme á todas las cosas que nos mandó Jonadab nuestro padre.

But we have dwelt in tents, and have obeyed, and done according to all that Jonadab our father commanded us.

but we have lived in tents, and have obeyed, and done according to all that Jonadab our father commanded us.

Pero habiendo entrado Nabucodonosor, rey de Babilonia, en nuestra tierra, hemos dicho: Vámonos y retirémonos a Jerusalén , para huir del ejército de los caldeos y del ejército de la Siria; y por eso nos estamos en Jerusalén .

Sucedió, empero, que cuando Nabucodonosor rey de Babilonia subió á la tierra, dijimos: Venid, y entrémonos en Jerusalem, de delante del ejército de los Caldeos y de delante del ejército de los de Siria: y en Jerusalem nos quedamos.

But it came to pass, when Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon came up into the land, that we said, Come, and let us go to Jerusalem for fear of the army of the Chaldeans, and for fear of the army of the Syrians: so we dwell at Jerusalem.

But when Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came up into the land, we said, ‘Come! Let’s go to Jerusalem for fear of the army of the Chaldeans, and for fear of the army of the Syrians; so we will dwell at Jerusalem.’”

Entonces el Señor habló a Jeremías, diciendo:

Y fué palabra de Jehová á Jeremías, diciendo:

Then came the word of the LORD unto Jeremiah, saying,

Then the LORD’s word came to Jeremiah, saying,

Esto dice el Señor de los ejércitos, el Dios de Israel: Anda y di al pueblo de Judá, y a los habitantes de Jerusalén : ¿Es posible que no habéis de tomar ejemplo para obedecer a mis palabras, dice el Señor?

Así ha dicho Jehová de los ejércitos, Dios de Israel: Ve, y di á los varones de Judá, y á los moradores de Jerusalem: ¿No recibiréis instrucción para obedecer á mis palabras? dice Jehová.

Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Go and tell the men of Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem, Will ye not receive instruction to hearken to my words? saith the LORD.

“The LORD of Armies, the God of Israel, says: ‘Go and tell the men of Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem, “Will you not receive instruction to listen to my words?” says the LORD.

Las palabras con que Jonadab, hijo de Recab, comunicó a sus hijos que no bebieran vino, han sido tan fielmente observadas que no lo han bebido hasta el día de hoy, obedeciendo el precepto de su padre; mas yo os he hablado a vosotros de continuo y a todas horas, y no me habéis obedecido.

Fué firme la palabra de Jonadab hijo de Rechâb, el cual mandó á sus hijos que no bebiesen vino, y no lo han bebido hasta hoy, por obedecer al mandamiento de su padre; y yo os he hablado á vosotros, madrugando y hablando, y no me habéis oído.

The words of Jonadab the son of Rechab, that he commanded his sons not to drink wine, are performed; for unto this day they drink none, but obey their father’s commandment: notwithstanding I have spoken unto you, rising early and speaking; but ye hearkened not unto me.

“The words of Jonadab the son of Rechab that he commanded his sons, not to drink wine, are performed; and to this day they drink none, for they obey their father’s commandment; but I have spoken to you, rising up early and speaking, and you have not listened to me.

Pues os he enviado todos mis siervos los profetas de antemano y con mucha solicitud, y os envié a decir por su boca: Conviértase cada uno de vosotros de su pésima vida, y rectificad vuestros afectos, y no andéis tras los dioses ajenos, ni les deis culto; y así habitaréis en la tierra que yo di a vosotros y a vuestros padres; pero vosotros no habéis querido obedecerme ni escucharme.

Y envié á vosotros á todos mis siervos los profetas, madrugando y enviándolos á decir: Tornaos ahora cada uno de su mal camino, y enmendad vuestras obras, y no vayáis tras dioses ajenos para servirles, y viviréis en la tierra que dí á vosotros y á vuestros padres: mas no inclinasteis vuestro oído, ni me oísteis.

I have sent also unto you all my servants the prophets, rising up early and sending them, saying, Return ye now every man from his evil way, and amend your doings, and go not after other gods to serve them, and ye shall dwell in the land which I have given to you and to your fathers: but ye have not inclined your ear, nor hearkened unto me.

I have sent also to you all my servants the prophets, rising up early and sending them, saying, ‘Every one of you must return now from his evil way, amend your doings, and don’t go after other gods to serve them. Then you will dwell in the land which I have given to you and to your fathers;’ but you have not inclined your ear, nor listened to me.

Así, pues, los hijos de Jonadab, hijo de Recab, han observado constantemente el precepto que les dejó su padre; mas ese pueblo no me ha obedecido a mí.

Ciertamente los hijos de Jonadab, hijo de Rechâb, tuvieron por firme el mandamiento que les dió su padre; mas este pueblo no me ha obedecido.

Because the sons of Jonadab the son of Rechab have performed the commandment of their father, which he commanded them; but this people hath not hearkened unto me:

The sons of Jonadab the son of Rechab have performed the commandment of their father which he commanded them, but this people has not listened to me.”’

Por tanto, esto dice el Señor de los ejércitos, el Dios de Israel: Yo voy a descargar sobre Judá, y sobre todos los habitantes de Jerusalén , todas las tribulaciones con que les he amenazado; puesto que yo les he hablado, y no han querido escucharme; los he llamado, y no han querido responderme.

Por tanto, así ha dicho Jehová Dios de los ejércitos, Dios de Israel: He aquí traeré yo sobre Judá y sobre todos los moradores de Jerusalem todo el mal que contra ellos he hablado: porque les hablé, y no oyeron; llamélos, y no han respondido.

Therefore thus saith the LORD God of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will bring upon Judah and upon all the inhabitants of Jerusalem all the evil that I have pronounced against them: because I have spoken unto them, but they have not heard; and I have called unto them, but they have not answered.

“Therefore the LORD, the God of Armies, the God of Israel, says: ‘Behold, I will bring on Judah and on all the inhabitants of Jerusalem all the evil that I have pronounced against them, because I have spoken to them, but they have not heard; and I have called to them, but they have not answered.’”

Pero a la familia de los recabitas le dijo Jeremías: Esto dice el Señor de los ejércitos, el Dios de Israel: Por cuanto vosotros habéis obedecido el mandamiento de vuestro padre Jonadab, y habéis observado todas sus órdenes, y cumplido todo cuanto os prescribió;

Y dijo Jeremías á la familia de los Rechâbitas: Así ha dicho Jehová de los ejércitos, Dios de Israel: Porque obedecisteis al mandamiento de Jonadab vuestro padre, y guardasteis todos sus mandamientos, é hicisteis conforme á todas las cosas que os mandó;

And Jeremiah said unto the house of the Rechabites, Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Because ye have obeyed the commandment of Jonadab your father, and kept all his precepts, and done according unto all that he hath commanded you:

Jeremiah said to the house of the Rechabites, “The LORD of Armies, the God of Israel, says: ‘Because you have obeyed the commandment of Jonadab your father, and kept all his precepts, and done according to all that he commanded you,’

por tanto, esto dice el Señor de los ejércitos, el Dios de Israel: No faltará varón de la estirpe de Jonadab, hijo de Recab, que asista en mi presencia todos los días.

Por tanto, así ha dicho Jehová de los ejércitos, Dios de Israel: No faltará varón de Jonadab, hijo de Rechâb, que esté en mi presencia todos los días.

Therefore thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Jonadab the son of Rechab shall not want a man to stand before me for ever.

therefore the LORD of Armies, the God of Israel, says: ‘Jonadab the son of Rechab will not lack a man to stand before me forever.’”
