29E riguardo a Joiakim, re di Giuda, tu dirai: Così parla l’Eterno: Tu hai bruciato quel rotolo, dicendo: Perché hai scritto in esso che il re di Babilonia verrà certamente e distruggerà questo paese e farà sì che non vi sarà più né uomo né bestia?

29And thou shalt say to Jehoiakim king of Judah, Thus saith the LORD; Thou hast burned this roll, saying, Why hast thou written therein, saying, The king of Babylon shall certainly come and destroy this land, and shall cause to cease from thence man and beast?

29Concerning Jehoiakim king of Judah you shall say, ‘The LORD says: “You have burned this scroll, saying, ‘Why have you written therein, saying, “The king of Babylon will certainly come and destroy this land, and will cause to cease from there man and animal”?’”
