Cuando el ejército del faraón Hofra apareció en la frontera sur de Judá para ayudar a la sitiada ciudad de Jerusalén, el ejército babilonio se retiró de Jerusalén para hacer frente a los egipcios.

Y como el ejército de Faraón hubo salido de Egipto, y vino la fama de ellos á oídos de los Caldeos que tenían cercada á Jerusalem, partiéronse de Jerusalem.

Then Pharaoh’s army was come forth out of Egypt: and when the Chaldeans that besieged Jerusalem heard tidings of them, they departed from Jerusalem.

Pharaoh’s army had come out of Egypt; and when the Chaldeans who were besieging Jerusalem heard news of them, they withdrew from Jerusalem.
