Jeremías 37

Sédécias, fils de Josias, exerça la royauté à la place de Coniahou, fils de Joïakim; car Nabuchodonosor, roi de Babylone, l'avait établi roi dans le pays de Juda.?

Y REINÓ el rey Sedechîas hijo de Josías, en lugar de Conías hijo de Joacim, al cual Nabucodonosor rey de Babilonia había constituído por rey en la tierra de Judá.

And king Zedekiah the son of Josiah reigned instead of Coniah the son of Jehoiakim, whom Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon made king in the land of Judah.

Mais ni lui, ni ses serviteurs, ni le peuple du pays n'écoutèrent les paroles de l'Eternel, énoncées par l'organe du prophète Jérémie.

Mas no obedeció él, ni sus siervos, ni el pueblo de la tierra á las palabras de Jehová, que dijo por el profeta Jeremías.

But neither he, nor his servants, nor the people of the land, did hearken unto the words of the LORD, which he spake by the prophet Jeremiah.

Le roi Sédécias envoya dire au prophète Jérémie par léhoukhal, fils de Chélémia, et par Cefania, fils de Masséya, le prêtre: "De grâce, implore en notre faveur l'Eternel, notre Dieu."

Y envió el rey Sedechîas á Jucal hijo de Selemías, y á Sephanías hijo de Maasías sacerdote, para que dijesen al profeta Jeremías: Ruega ahora por nosotros á Jehová nuestro Dios.

And Zedekiah the king sent Jehucal the son of Shelemiah and Zephaniah the son of Maaseiah the priest to the prophet Jeremiah, saying, Pray now unto the LORD our God for us.

Or, Jérémie allait et venait au milieu du peuple, et on ne le tenait pas enfermé dans la prison.

Y Jeremías entraba y salía en medio del pueblo; porque no lo habían puesto en la casa de la cárcel.

Cependant l'armée de Pharaon étant sortie de l'Egypte, les Chaldéens qui cernaient Jérusalem en furent informés et ils levèrent le siège de Jérusalem.

Y como el ejército de Faraón hubo salido de Egipto, y vino la fama de ellos á oídos de los Caldeos que tenían cercada á Jerusalem, partiéronse de Jerusalem.

Then Pharaoh’s army was come forth out of Egypt: and when the Chaldeans that besieged Jerusalem heard tidings of them, they departed from Jerusalem.

C'est alors que la parole de l'Eternel fut adressée à Jérémie, le prophète, en ces termes:

Entonces fué palabra de Jehová á Jeremías profeta, diciendo:

Then came the word of the LORD unto the prophet Jeremiah, saying,

Then the LORD’s word came to the prophet Jeremiah, saying,

"Ainsi parle l'Eternel, Dieu d'Israël: Voici ce que vous direz au roi de Juda qui vous envoie à moi pour me solliciter: Cette armée de Pharaon qui s'est mise en marche pour vous secourir, elle rebrousse chemin vers son pays, l'Egypte.

Así ha dicho Jehová Dios de Israel: Diréis así al rey de Judá, que os envió á mí para que me preguntaseis: He aquí que el ejército de Faraón que había salido en vuestro socorro, se volvió á su tierra en Egipto.

Thus saith the LORD, the God of Israel; Thus shall ye say to the king of Judah, that sent you unto me to enquire of me; Behold, Pharaoh’s army, which is come forth to help you, shall return to Egypt into their own land.

“The LORD, the God of Israel, says, ‘You shall tell the king of Judah, who sent you to me to inquire of me: “Behold, Pharaoh’s army, which has come out to help you, will return to Egypt into their own land.

Aussi les Chaldéens reviendront-ils pour attaquer cette ville, ils l'emporteront de vive force et la livreront aux flammes."

Y tornarán los Caldeos, y combatirán esta ciudad, y la tomarán, y la pondrán á fuego.

And the Chaldeans shall come again, and fight against this city, and take it, and burn it with fire.

The Chaldeans will come again, and fight against this city. They will take it and burn it with fire.”’

Ainsi parle l'Eternel: "Ne vous leurrez pas vous-mêmes en disant: Assurément, les Chaldéens partiront de chez nous, car ils ne partiront pas.

Así ha dicho Jehová: No engañéis vuestras almas, diciendo: Sin duda los Caldeos se han ido de nosotros: porque no se irán.

Thus saith the LORD; Deceive not yourselves, saying, The Chaldeans shall surely depart from us: for they shall not depart.

“The LORD says, ‘Don’t deceive yourselves, saying, “The Chaldeans will surely depart from us;” for they will not depart.

Et dussiez-vous même tailler en pièces toute l'armée des Chaldéens qui combat contre vous, de sorte qu'il n'en restât que quelques hommes blessés par la lance, ceux-ci se redresseraient dans leur tente et mettraient le feu à cette ville!"

Porque aun cuando hirieseis todo el ejército de los Caldeos que pelean con vosotros, y quedasen de ellos hombres alanceados, cada uno se levantará de su tienda, y pondrán esta ciudad á fuego.

For though ye had smitten the whole army of the Chaldeans that fight against you, and there remained but wounded men among them, yet should they rise up every man in his tent, and burn this city with fire.

For though you had struck the whole army of the Chaldeans who fight against you, and only wounded men remained among them, they would each rise up in his tent and burn this city with fire.’”

Alors que l'armée des Chaldéens s'éloignait de Jérusalem à cause de l'armée de Pharaon,

Y aconteció que, como el ejército de los Caldeos se fué de Jerusalem á causa del ejército de Faraón,

And it came to pass, that when the army of the Chaldeans was broken up from Jerusalem for fear of Pharaoh’s army,

When the army of the Chaldeans had withdrawn from Jerusalem for fear of Pharaoh’s army,

Jérémie se disposa à sortir de Jérusalem pour se rendre sur le territoire de Benjamin, et de là se glisser dans la foule.

Salíase de Jerusalem Jeremías para irse á tierra de Benjamín, para apartarse de allí en medio del pueblo.

Then Jeremiah went forth out of Jerusalem to go into the land of Benjamin, to separate himself thence in the midst of the people.

Mais s'étant présenté à la porte de Benjamin, il y rencontra un chef de poste du nom de Yriya, fils de Chélémia, fils de Hanania. Celui-ci arrêta le prophète Jérémie en disant: "Tu veux passer aux Chaldéens!"

Y cuando fué á la puerta de Benjamín, estaba allí un prepósito que se llamaba Irías, hijo de Selemías, hijo de Hananías, el cual prendió á Jeremías profeta, diciendo: Tú te retiras á los Caldeos.

And when he was in the gate of Benjamin, a captain of the ward was there, whose name was Irijah, the son of Shelemiah, the son of Hananiah; and he took Jeremiah the prophet, saying, Thou fallest away to the Chaldeans.

When he was in Benjamin’s gate, a captain of the guard was there, whose name was Irijah, the son of Shelemiah, the son of Hananiah; and he seized Jeremiah the prophet, saying, “You are defecting to the Chaldeans!”

Jérémie répliqua: "C'est faux! je ne passe pas aux Chaldéens!" Mais Yriya ne l'écouta point, il se saisit de Jérémie et l'amena aux officiers.

Y Jeremías dijo: Falso: no me retiro á los Caldeos. Mas él no lo escuchó, antes prendió Irías á Jeremías, y llevólo delante de los príncipes.

Then said Jeremiah, It is false; I fall not away to the Chaldeans. But he hearkened not to him: so Irijah took Jeremiah, and brought him to the princes.

Then Jeremiah said, “That is false! I am not defecting to the Chaldeans.” But he didn’t listen to him; so Irijah seized Jeremiah, and brought him to the princes.

Les officiers s'emportèrent contre Jérémie, le frappèrent et le firent incarcérer dans la maison de Jonathan, le secrétaire, transformée en prison.

Y los príncipes se airaron contra Jeremías, y azotáronle, y pusiéronle en prisión en la casa de Jonathán escriba, porque aquélla habían hecho casa de cárcel.

Wherefore the princes were wroth with Jeremiah, and smote him, and put him in prison in the house of Jonathan the scribe: for they had made that the prison.

C'est ainsi que Jérémie fut confiné dans la chambre souterraine, qui servait de dépôt, et il y demeura de longs jours.

Entró pues Jeremías en la casa de la mazmorra, y en las camarillas. Y habiendo estado allá Jeremías por muchos días,

When Jeremiah was entered into the dungeon, and into the cabins, and Jeremiah had remained there many days;

When Jeremiah had come into the dungeon house and into the cells, and Jeremiah had remained there many days,

Or, le roi Sédécias l'envoya chercher et l'interrogea secrètement en son palais en lui disant: "Y a-t-il une communication de la part de l'Eternel?" Jérémie répondit: "Il y en a;" il ajouta: "Tu seras livré aux mains du roi de Babylone."

El rey Sedechîas envió, y sacóle; y preguntóle el rey escondidamente en su casa, y dijo: ¿Hay palabra de Jehová? Y Jeremías dijo: Hay. Y dijo más: En mano del rey de Babilonia serás entregado.

Then Zedekiah the king sent, and took him out: and the king asked him secretly in his house, and said, Is there any word from the LORD? And Jeremiah said, There is: for, said he, thou shalt be delivered into the hand of the king of Babylon.

then Zedekiah the king sent and had him brought out. The king asked him secretly in his house, “Is there any word from the LORD?” Jeremiah said, “There is.” He also said, “You will be delivered into the hand of the king of Babylon.”

Jérémie dit encore au roi Sédécias: "Quel crime ai-je commis contre toi, tes serviteurs et ce peuple, que vous m'ayez enfermé dans la maison de détention?

Dijo también Jeremías al rey Sedechîas: ¿En qué pequé contra ti, y contra tus siervos, y contra este pueblo, para que me pusieseis en la casa de la cárcel?

Moreover Jeremiah said unto king Zedekiah, What have I offended against thee, or against thy servants, or against this people, that ye have put me in prison?

Moreover Jeremiah said to King Zedekiah, “How have I sinned against you, against your servants, or against this people, that you have put me in prison?

Où sont donc vos prophètes qui vous ont fait cette prédiction: Jamais le roi de Babylone ne marchera contre vous et contre ce pays?

¿Y dónde están vuestros profetas que os profetizaban, diciendo: No vendrá el rey de Babilonia contra vosotros, ni contra esta tierra?

Where are now your prophets which prophesied unto you, saying, The king of Babylon shall not come against you, nor against this land?

Now where are your prophets who prophesied to you, saying, ‘The king of Babylon will not come against you, nor against this land’?

Et maintenant écoute, de grâce, ô Seigneur roi, et laisse ma supplication arriver jusqu'à toi: Ne me fais pas rentrer dans la maison de Jonathan, le secrétaire, sans cela, ma mort est certaine."

Ahora pues, oye, te ruego, oh rey mi señor: caiga ahora mi súplica delante de ti, y no me hagas volver á casa de Jonathán escriba, porque no me muera allí.

Therefore hear now, I pray thee, O my lord the king: let my supplication, I pray thee, be accepted before thee; that thou cause me not to return to the house of Jonathan the scribe, lest I die there.

Now please hear, my lord the king: please let my supplication be presented before you, that you not cause me to return to the house of Jonathan the scribe, lest I die there.”

Le roi Sédécias donna des ordres, à la suite desquels on mit Jérémie sous garde dans la cour de la geôle; et chaque jour on lui fournissait une miche de pain de la rue des boulangers, jusqu'au moment où le pain vint à manquer tout à fait dans la ville. Jérémie demeura donc dans la cour de la geôle.

Entonces dió orden el rey Sedechîas, y depositaron á Jeremías en el patio de la cárcel, haciéndole dar una torta de pan al día, de la plaza de los Panaderos, hasta que todo el pan de la ciudad se gastase. Y quedó Jeremías en el patio de la cárcel.

Then Zedekiah the king commanded that they should commit Jeremiah into the court of the prison, and that they should give him daily a piece of bread out of the bakers’ street, until all the bread in the city were spent. Thus Jeremiah remained in the court of the prison.
