Jeremías 38

Entonces Jeremías dijo a Sedequías: Si te doy la respuesta a tu pregunta, ¿no me matarás ciertamente? y si le hago una sugerencia, no le dará una audiencia.

Y Jeremías dijo á Sedechîas: Si te lo denunciare, ¿no es verdad que me matarás? y si te diere consejo, no has de escucharme.

Then Jeremiah said unto Zedekiah, If I declare it unto thee, wilt thou not surely put me to death? and if I give thee counsel, wilt thou not hearken unto me?

Then Jeremiah said to Zedekiah, “If I declare it to you, will you not surely put me to death? If I give you counsel, you will not listen to me.”
