Da sagte Jeremia zu Zedekia: »So hat der HERR, der Gott der Heerscharen, der Gott Israels, gesprochen: ›Wenn du dich den Heeresobersten des Königs von Babylon ergibst, so wirst du am Leben bleiben, und diese Stadt wird nicht mit Feuer zerstört werden, und zwar wirst du samt deiner Familie das Leben behalten.
Entonces dijo Jeremías á Sedechîas: Así ha dicho Jehová Dios de los ejércitos, Dios de Israel: Si salieres luego á los príncipes del rey de Babilonia, tu alma vivirá, y esta ciudad no será puesta á fuego; y vivirás tú y tu casa:
Then said Jeremiah unto Zedekiah, Thus saith the LORD, the God of hosts, the God of Israel; If thou wilt assuredly go forth unto the king of Babylon’s princes, then thy soul shall live, and this city shall not be burned with fire; and thou shalt live, and thine house:
Then Jeremiah said to Zedekiah, “The LORD, the God of Armies, the God of Israel, says: ‘If you will go out to the king of Babylon’s princes, then your soul will live, and this city will not be burned with fire. You will live, along with your house.
