Jeremías 38

Da erwiderte der König Zedekia dem Jeremia: »Ich fürchte, daß man mich den Judäern, die schon zu den Chaldäern übergegangen sind, ausliefern wird und daß diese sich an mir vergreifen.«

Y dijo el rey Sedechîas á Jeremías: Témome á causa de los Judíos que se han adherido á los Caldeos, que no me entreguen en sus manos y me escarnezcan.

And Zedekiah the king said unto Jeremiah, I am afraid of the Jews that are fallen to the Chaldeans, lest they deliver me into their hand, and they mock me.

Zedekiah the king said to Jeremiah, “I am afraid of the Jews who have defected to the Chaldeans, lest they deliver me into their hand, and they mock me.”
