6Entonces tomaron a Jeremías y lo metieron en el pozo de agua de Malquías, el hijo del rey, que estaba en el patio de los vigilantes armados; y soltaron a Jeremías con cuerdas. Y en el agujero no había agua, sino tierra húmeda; y Jeremías descendió a la tierra húmeda.

6Entonces tomaron ellos á Jeremías, é hiciéronlo echar en la mazmorra de Malchîas hijo de Amelech, que estaba en el patio de la cárcel; y metieron á Jeremías con sogas. Y en la mazmorra no había agua, sino cieno; y hundióse Jeremías en el cieno.

6Then took they Jeremiah, and cast him into the dungeon of Malchiah the son of Hammelech, that was in the court of the prison: and they let down Jeremiah with cords. And in the dungeon there was no water, but mire: so Jeremiah sunk in the mire.
