9“Mi señor el rey, todas estas cosas terribles que estos hombres le han hecho al profeta Jeremías son malas. Lo han metido en la cisterna, y allí morirá de hambre porque ya no queda pan en la ciudad”.

9Mi señor el rey, mal hicieron estos varones en todo lo que han hecho con Jeremías profeta, al cual hicieron echar en la mazmorra; porque allí se morirá de hambre, pues no hay más pan en la ciudad.

9My lord the king, these men have done evil in all that they have done to Jeremiah the prophet, whom they have cast into the dungeon; and he is like to die for hunger in the place where he is: for there is no more bread in the city.
