1Und er spricht: Wenn sich ein Mann von seinem Weibe scheidet, und sie zieht von ihm und nimmt einen andern Mann, darf er sie auch wieder annehmen? Ist's nicht also, daß das Land verunreinigt würde? Du aber hast mit vielen Buhlen gehurt; doch komm wieder zu mir; spricht der HERR.
2Hebe deine Augen auf zu den Höhen und siehe, wie du allenthalben Hurerei treibst. An den Straßen sitzest du und lauerst auf sie wie ein Araber in der Wüste und verunreinigst das Land mit deiner Hurerei und Bosheit.
3Darum muß auch der Frühregen ausbleiben und kein Spätregen kommen. Du hast eine Hurenstirn, du willst dich nicht mehr schämen
4und schreist gleichwohl zu mir: “Lieber Vater, du Meister meiner Jugend!
5willst du denn ewiglich zürnen und nicht vom Grimm lassen?” Siehe, so redest du, und tust Böses und lässest dir nicht steuern.
6Und der HERR sprach zu mir zu der Zeit des Königs Josia: Hast du auch gesehen, was Israel, die Abtrünnige tat? Sie ging hin auf alle hohen Berge und unter alle grünen Bäume und trieb daselbst Hurerei.
7Und ich sprach, da sie solches alles getan hatte: Bekehre dich zu mir. Aber sie bekehrte sich nicht. Und obwohl ihre Schwester Juda, die Verstockte, gesehen hat,
8wie ich der Abtrünnigen Israel Ehebruch gestraft und sie verlassen und ihr einen Scheidebrief gegeben habe: dennoch fürchtet sich ihre Schwester, die verstockte Juda, nicht, sondern geht hin und treibt auch Hurerei.
9Und von dem Geschrei ihrer Hurerei ist das Land verunreinigt; denn sie treibt Ehebruch mit Stein und Holz.
10Und in diesem allem bekehrt sich die verstockte Juda, ihre Schwester, nicht zu mir von ganzem Herzen, sondern heuchelt also, spricht der HERR.
11Und der HERR sprach zu mir: Die abtrünnige Israel ist fromm gegen die verstockte Juda.
12Gehe hin und rufe diese Worte gegen die Mitternacht und sprich: Kehre wieder, du abtrünnige Israel, spricht der HERR, so will ich mein Antlitz nicht gegen euch verstellen. Denn ich bin barmherzig, spricht der HERR, und ich will nicht ewiglich zürnen.
13Allein erkenne deine Missetat, daß du wider den HERRN, deinen Gott, gesündigt hast und bist hin und wieder gelaufen zu den fremden Göttern unter allen grünen Bäumen und habt meiner Stimme nicht gehorcht, spricht der HERR.
14Bekehret euch nun ihr abtrünnigen Kinder, spricht der HERR; denn ich will euch mir vertrauen und will euch holen, einen aus einer Stadt und zwei aus einem Geschlecht, und will euch bringen gen Zion
15und will euch Hirten geben nach meinem Herzen, die euch weiden sollen mit Lehre und Weisheit.
16Und es soll geschehen, wenn ihr gewachsen seid und euer viel geworden sind im Lande, so soll man, spricht der HERR, zur selben Zeit nicht mehr sagen von der Bundeslade des HERRN, auch ihrer nicht mehr gedenken noch davon predigen noch nach ihr fragen, und sie wird nicht wieder gemacht werden;
17sondern zur selben Zeit wird man Jerusalem heißen “Des HERRN Thron”, und es werden sich dahin sammeln alle Heiden um des Namens des HERRN willen zu Jerusalem und werden nicht mehr wandeln nach den Gedanken ihres bösen Herzens.
18Zu der Zeit wird das Haus Juda gehen zum Hause Israel, und sie werden miteinander kommen von Mitternacht in das Land, das ich euren Vätern zum Erbe gegeben habe.
19Und ich sagte dir zu: Wie will ich dir so viel Kinder geben und das liebe Land, das allerschönste Erbe unter den Völkern! Und ich sagte dir zu: Du wirst alsdann mich nennen “Lieber Vater!” und nicht von mir weichen.
20Aber das Haus Israel achtete mich nicht, gleichwie ein Weib ihren Buhlen nicht mehr achtet, spricht der HERR.
21Darum hört man ein klägliches Heulen und Weinen der Kinder Israel auf den Höhen, dafür daß sie übel getan und des HERRN, ihres Gottes, vergessen haben.
22So kehret nun wieder, ihr abtrünnigen Kinder, so will ich euch heilen von eurem Ungehorsam. Siehe wir kommen zu dir; denn du bist der HERR, unser Gott.
23Wahrlich, es ist eitel Betrug mit Hügeln und mit allen Bergen. Wahrlich, es hat Israel keine Hilfe denn am HERRN, unserm Gott.
24Und die Schande hat gefressen unsrer Väter Arbeit von unsrer Jugend auf samt ihren Schafen, Rindern, Söhnen und Töchtern.
25Denn worauf wir uns verließen, das ist uns jetzt eitel Schande, und wessen wir uns trösteten, des müssen wir uns jetzt schämen. Denn wir sündigten damit wider den HERRN, unsern Gott, beide, wir und unsre Väter, von unsrer Jugend auf, auch bis auf diesen heutigen Tag, und gehorchten nicht der Stimme des HERRN, unsers Gottes.

1DICEN: Si alguno dejare su mujer, y yéndose ésta de él se juntare á otro hombre, ¿volverá á ella más? ¿no será tal tierra del todo amancillada? Tú pues has fornicado con muchos amigos; mas vuélvete á mí, dijo Jehová.
2Alza tus ojos á los altos, y ve en qué lugar no te hayas publicado: para ellos te sentabas en los caminos, como Arabe en el desierto; y con tus fornicaciones y con tu malicia has contaminado la tierra.
3Por esta causa las aguas han sido detenidas, y faltó la lluvia de la tarde; y has tenido frente de mala mujer, ni quisiste tener vergüenza.
4A lo menos desde ahora, ¿no clamarás á mí, Padre mío, guiador de mi juventud?
5¿Guardará su enojo para siempre? ¿eternalmente lo guardará? He aquí que has hablado y hecho cuantas maldades pudiste.
6Y díjome Jehová en días del rey Josías: ¿Has visto lo que ha hecho la rebelde Israel? Vase ella sobre todo monte alto y debajo de todo árbol umbroso, y allí fornica.
7Y dije después que hizo todo esto: Vuélvete á mí; mas no se volvió. Y vió la rebelde su hermana Judá,
8Que yo lo había visto; que por todas estas causas en las cuales fornicó la rebelde Israel, yo la había despedido, y dádole la carta de su repudio; y no tuvo temor la rebelde Judá su hermana, sino que también fué ella y fornicó.
9Y sucedió que por la liviandad de su fornicación la tierra fué contaminada, y adulteró con la piedra y con el leño.
10Y con todo esto, la rebelde su hermana Judá no se tornó á mí de todo su corazón, sino mentirosamente, dice Jehová.
11Y díjome Jehová: Justificado ha su alma la rebelde Israel en comparación de la desleal Judá.
12Ve, y clama estas palabras hacia el aquilón, y di: Vuélvete, oh rebelde Israel, dice Jehová; no haré caer mi ira sobre vosotros: porque misericordioso soy yo, dice Jehová, no guardaré para siempre el enojo.
13Conoce empero tu maldad, porque contra Jehová tu Dios has prevaricado, y tus caminos has derramado á los extraños debajo de todo árbol umbroso, y no oiste mi voz, dice Jehová.
14Convertíos, hijos rebeldes, dice Jehová, porque yo soy vuestro esposo: y os tomaré uno de una ciudad, y dos de una familia, y os introduciré en Sión;
15Y os daré pastores según mi corazón, que os apacienten de ciencia y de inteligencia.
16Y acontecerá, que cuando os multiplicareis y creciereis en la tierra, en aquellos días, dice Jehová, no se dirá más: Arca del pacto de Jehová; ni vendrá al pensamiento, ni se acordarán de ella, ni la visitarán, ni se hará más.
17En aquel tiempo llamarán á Jerusalem Trono de Jehová, y todas las gentes se congregarán á ella en el nombre de Jehová en Jerusalem: ni andarán más tras la dureza de su corazón malvado.
18En aquellos tiempos irán de la casa de Judá á la casa de Israel, y vendrán juntamente de tierra del aquilón á la tierra que hice heredar á vuestros padres.
19Yo empero dije: ¿Cómo te pondré por hijos, y te daré la tierra deseable, la rica heredad de los ejércitos de las gentes? Y dije: Padre mío me llamarás, y no te apartarás de en pos de mí.
20Mas como la esposa quiebra la fe de su compañero, así prevaricasteis contra mí, oh casa de Israel, dice Jehová.
21Voz sobre las alturas fué oída, llanto de los ruegos de los hijos de Israel; porque han torcido su camino, de Jehová su Dios se han olvidado.
22Convertíos, hijos rebeldes, sanaré vuestras rebeliones. He aquí nosotros venimos á ti; porque tú eres Jehová nuestro Dios.
23Ciertamente vanidad son los collados, la multitud de los montes: ciertamente en Jehová nuestro Dios está la salud de Israel.
24Confusión consumió el trabajo de nuestros padres desde nuestra mocedad; sus ovejas, sus vacas, sus hijos y sus hijas.
25Yacemos en nuestra confusión, y nuestra afrenta nos cubre: porque pecamos contra Jehová nuestro Dios, nosotros y nuestros padres, desde nuestra juventud y hasta este día; y no hemos escuchado la voz de Jehová nuestro Dios.

1They say, If a man put away his wife, and she go from him, and become another man’s, shall he return unto her again? shall not that land be greatly polluted? but thou hast played the harlot with many lovers; yet return again to me, saith the LORD.
2Lift up thine eyes unto the high places, and see where thou hast not been lien with. In the ways hast thou sat for them, as the Arabian in the wilderness; and thou hast polluted the land with thy whoredoms and with thy wickedness.
3Therefore the showers have been withholden, and there hath been no latter rain; and thou hadst a whore’s forehead, thou refusedst to be ashamed.
4Wilt thou not from this time cry unto me, My father, thou art the guide of my youth?
5Will he reserve his anger for ever? will he keep it to the end? Behold, thou hast spoken and done evil things as thou couldest.
6The LORD said also unto me in the days of Josiah the king, Hast thou seen that which backsliding Israel hath done? she is gone up upon every high mountain and under every green tree, and there hath played the harlot.
7And I said after she had done all these things, Turn thou unto me. But she returned not. And her treacherous sister Judah saw it.
8And I saw, when for all the causes whereby backsliding Israel committed adultery I had put her away, and given her a bill of divorce; yet her treacherous sister Judah feared not, but went and played the harlot also.
9And it came to pass through the lightness of her whoredom, that she defiled the land, and committed adultery with stones and with stocks.
10And yet for all this her treacherous sister Judah hath not turned unto me with her whole heart, but feignedly, saith the LORD.
11And the LORD said unto me, The backsliding Israel hath justified herself more than treacherous Judah.
12Go and proclaim these words toward the north, and say, Return, thou backsliding Israel, saith the LORD; and I will not cause mine anger to fall upon you: for I am merciful, saith the LORD, and I will not keep anger for ever.
13Only acknowledge thine iniquity, that thou hast transgressed against the LORD thy God, and hast scattered thy ways to the strangers under every green tree, and ye have not obeyed my voice, saith the LORD.
14Turn, O backsliding children, saith the LORD; for I am married unto you: and I will take you one of a city, and two of a family, and I will bring you to Zion:
15And I will give you pastors according to mine heart, which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding.
16And it shall come to pass, when ye be multiplied and increased in the land, in those days, saith the LORD, they shall say no more, The ark of the covenant of the LORD: neither shall it come to mind: neither shall they remember it; neither shall they visit it; neither shall that be done any more.
17At that time they shall call Jerusalem the throne of the LORD; and all the nations shall be gathered unto it, to the name of the LORD, to Jerusalem: neither shall they walk any more after the imagination of their evil heart.
18In those days the house of Judah shall walk with the house of Israel, and they shall come together out of the land of the north to the land that I have given for an inheritance unto your fathers.
19But I said, How shall I put thee among the children, and give thee a pleasant land, a goodly heritage of the hosts of nations? and I said, Thou shalt call me, My father; and shalt not turn away from me.
20Surely as a wife treacherously departeth from her husband, so have ye dealt treacherously with me, O house of Israel, saith the LORD.
21A voice was heard upon the high places, weeping and supplications of the children of Israel: for they have perverted their way, and they have forgotten the LORD their God.
22Return, ye backsliding children, and I will heal your backslidings. Behold, we come unto thee; for thou art the LORD our God.
23Truly in vain is salvation hoped for from the hills, and from the multitude of mountains: truly in the LORD our God is the salvation of Israel.
24For shame hath devoured the labour of our fathers from our youth; their flocks and their herds, their sons and their daughters.
25We lie down in our shame, and our confusion covereth us: for we have sinned against the LORD our God, we and our fathers, from our youth even unto this day, and have not obeyed the voice of the LORD our God.

1“They say, ‘If a man puts away his wife, and she goes from him, and becomes another man’s, should he return to her again?’ Wouldn’t that land be greatly polluted? But you have played the prostitute with many lovers; yet return again to me,” says the LORD.
2“Lift up your eyes to the bare heights, and see! Where have you not been lain with? You have sat waiting for them by the road, as an Arabian in the wilderness. You have polluted the land with your prostitution and with your wickedness.
3Therefore the showers have been withheld and there has been no latter rain; yet you have had a prostitute’s forehead and you refused to be ashamed.
4Will you not from this time cry to me, ‘My Father, you are the guide of my youth!’?
5“‘Will he retain his anger forever? Will he keep it to the end?’ Behold, you have spoken and have done evil things, and have had your way.”
6Moreover, the LORD said to me in the days of Josiah the king, “Have you seen that which backsliding Israel has done? She has gone up on every high mountain and under every green tree, and has played the prostitute there.
7I said after she had done all these things, ‘She will return to me;’ but she didn’t return, and her treacherous sister Judah saw it.
8I saw when, for this very cause, that backsliding Israel had committed adultery, I had put her away and given her a certificate of divorce, yet treacherous Judah, her sister, had no fear, but she also went and played the prostitute.
9Because she took her prostitution lightly, the land was polluted, and she committed adultery with stones and with wood.
10Yet for all this her treacherous sister, Judah, has not returned to me with her whole heart, but only in pretense,” says the LORD.
11The LORD said to me, “Backsliding Israel has shown herself more righteous than treacherous Judah.
12Go, and proclaim these words toward the north, and say, ‘Return, you backsliding Israel,’ says the LORD; ‘I will not look in anger on you, for I am merciful,’ says the LORD. ‘I will not keep anger forever.
13Only acknowledge your iniquity, that you have transgressed against the LORD your God, and have scattered your ways to the strangers under every green tree, and you have not obeyed my voice,’” says the LORD.
14“Return, backsliding children,” says the LORD, “for I am a husband to you. I will take one of you from a city, and two from a family, and I will bring you to Zion.
15I will give you shepherds according to my heart, who will feed you with knowledge and understanding.
16It will come to pass, when you are multiplied and increased in the land in those days,” says the LORD, “they will no longer say, ‘the ark of the LORD’s covenant!’ It will not come to mind. They won’t remember it. They won’t miss it, nor will another be made.
17At that time they will call Jerusalem ‘The LORD’s Throne;’ and all the nations will be gathered to it, to the LORD’s name, to Jerusalem. They will no longer walk after the stubbornness of their evil heart.
18In those days the house of Judah will walk with the house of Israel, and they will come together out of the land of the north to the land that I gave for an inheritance to your fathers.
19“But I said, ‘How I desire to put you among the children, and give you a pleasant land, a goodly heritage of the armies of the nations!’ and I said, ‘You shall call me “My Father”, and shall not turn away from following me.’
20“Surely as a wife treacherously departs from her husband, so you have dealt treacherously with me, house of Israel,” says the LORD.
21A voice is heard on the bare heights, the weeping and the petitions of the children of Israel; because they have perverted their way, they have forgotten the LORD their God.
22Return, you backsliding children, and I will heal your backsliding. “Behold, we have come to you; for you are the LORD our God.
23Truly help from the hills, the tumult on the mountains, is in vain. Truly the salvation of Israel is in the LORD our God.
24But the shameful thing has devoured the labor of our fathers from our youth, their flocks and their herds, their sons and their daughters.
25Let us lie down in our shame, and let our confusion cover us; for we have sinned against the LORD our God, we and our fathers, from our youth even to this day. We have not obeyed the LORD our God’s voice.”
