L’Eterno dice: Se un uomo ripudia la sua moglie e questa se ne va da lui e si marita a un altro, quell’uomo torna egli forse ancora da lei? Il paese stesso non ne sarebb’egli tutto profanato? E tu, che ti sei prostituita con molti amanti, ritorneresti a me? dice l’Eterno.
DICEN: Si alguno dejare su mujer, y yéndose ésta de él se juntare á otro hombre, ¿volverá á ella más? ¿no será tal tierra del todo amancillada? Tú pues has fornicado con muchos amigos; mas vuélvete á mí, dijo Jehová.
They say, If a man put away his wife, and she go from him, and become another man’s, shall he return unto her again? shall not that land be greatly polluted? but thou hast played the harlot with many lovers; yet return again to me, saith the LORD.
“They say, ‘If a man puts away his wife, and she goes from him, and becomes another man’s, should he return to her again?’ Wouldn’t that land be greatly polluted? But you have played the prostitute with many lovers; yet return again to me,” says the LORD.
Alza gli occhi verso le alture, e guarda: Dov’è che non ti sei prostituita? Tu sedevi per le vie ad aspettare i passanti, come fa l’Arabo nel deserto, e hai contaminato il paese con le tue prostituzioni e con le tue malvagità.
Alza tus ojos á los altos, y ve en qué lugar no te hayas publicado: para ellos te sentabas en los caminos, como Arabe en el desierto; y con tus fornicaciones y con tu malicia has contaminado la tierra.
Lift up thine eyes unto the high places, and see where thou hast not been lien with. In the ways hast thou sat for them, as the Arabian in the wilderness; and thou hast polluted the land with thy whoredoms and with thy wickedness.
“Lift up your eyes to the bare heights, and see! Where have you not been lain with? You have sat waiting for them by the road, as an Arabian in the wilderness. You have polluted the land with your prostitution and with your wickedness.
Perciò le grandi piogge sono state trattenute, e non v’è stata pioggia di primavera; ma tu hai avuto una fronte da prostituta, e non hai voluto vergognarti.
Por esta causa las aguas han sido detenidas, y faltó la lluvia de la tarde; y has tenido frente de mala mujer, ni quisiste tener vergüenza.

Sarà egli adirato in perpetuo? Serberà egli la sua ira sino alla fine?” Ecco, tu parli così, ma intanto commetti a tutto potere delle male azioni!
¿Guardará su enojo para siempre? ¿eternalmente lo guardará? He aquí que has hablado y hecho cuantas maldades pudiste.
Will he reserve his anger for ever? will he keep it to the end? Behold, thou hast spoken and done evil things as thou couldest.

L’Eterno mi disse al tempo del re Giosia: “Hai tu veduto quello che la infedele Israele ha fatto? E’ andata sopra ogni alto monte e sotto ogni albero verdeggiante, e quivi s’è prostituita.
Y díjome Jehová en días del rey Josías: ¿Has visto lo que ha hecho la rebelde Israel? Vase ella sobre todo monte alto y debajo de todo árbol umbroso, y allí fornica.
The LORD said also unto me in the days of Josiah the king, Hast thou seen that which backsliding Israel hath done? she is gone up upon every high mountain and under every green tree, and there hath played the harlot.
Moreover, the LORD said to me in the days of Josiah the king, “Have you seen that which backsliding Israel has done? She has gone up on every high mountain and under every green tree, and has played the prostitute there.
Io dicevo: Dopo che avrà fatto tutte queste cose, essa tornerà a me; ma non è ritornata; e la sua sorella, la perfida Giuda, l’ha visto.

E benché io avessi ripudiato l’infedele Israele a cagione di tutti i suoi adulteri e le avessi dato la sua lettera di divorzio, ho visto che la sua sorella, la perfida Giuda, non ha avuto alcun timore, ed è andata a prostituirsi anch’essa.
Que yo lo había visto; que por todas estas causas en las cuales fornicó la rebelde Israel, yo la había despedido, y dádole la carta de su repudio; y no tuvo temor la rebelde Judá su hermana, sino que también fué ella y fornicó.
And I saw, when for all the causes whereby backsliding Israel committed adultery I had put her away, and given her a bill of divorce; yet her treacherous sister Judah feared not, but went and played the harlot also.

And it came to pass through the lightness of her whoredom, that she defiled the land, and committed adultery with stones and with stocks.

e nonostante tutto questo, la sua perfida sorella non è tornata a me con tutto il suo cuore, ma con finzione, dice l’Eterno”.

And yet for all this her treacherous sister Judah hath not turned unto me with her whole heart, but feignedly, saith the LORD.

E l’Eterno mi disse: “La infedele Israele s’è mostrata più giusta della perfida Giuda”.
Y díjome Jehová: Justificado ha su alma la rebelde Israel en comparación de la desleal Judá.
And the LORD said unto me, The backsliding Israel hath justified herself more than treacherous Judah.

Va’, proclama queste parole verso il settentrione, e di’: Torna, o infedele Israele, dice l’Eterno; io non vi mostrerò un viso accigliato, giacché io son misericordioso, dice l’Eterno, e non serbo l’ira in perpetuo.
Ve, y clama estas palabras hacia el aquilón, y di: Vuélvete, oh rebelde Israel, dice Jehová; no haré caer mi ira sobre vosotros: porque misericordioso soy yo, dice Jehová, no guardaré para siempre el enojo.
Go and proclaim these words toward the north, and say, Return, thou backsliding Israel, saith the LORD; and I will not cause mine anger to fall upon you: for I am merciful, saith the LORD, and I will not keep anger for ever.

Soltanto riconosci la tua iniquità: tu sei stata infedele all’Eterno, al tuo Dio, hai vòlto qua e là i tuoi passi verso gli stranieri, sotto ogni albero verdeggiante, e non hai dato ascolto alla mia voce, dice l’Eterno.
Conoce empero tu maldad, porque contra Jehová tu Dios has prevaricado, y tus caminos has derramado á los extraños debajo de todo árbol umbroso, y no oiste mi voz, dice Jehová.

e vi darò dei pastori secondo il mio cuore, che vi pasceranno con conoscenza e con intelligenza.

E quando sarete moltiplicati e avrete fruttato nel paese, allora, dice l’Eterno, non si dirà più: “L’arca del patto dell’Eterno!” non vi si penserà più, non la si menzionerà più, non la si rimpiangerà più, non se ne farà un’altra.
Y acontecerá, que cuando os multiplicareis y creciereis en la tierra, en aquellos días, dice Jehová, no se dirá más: Arca del pacto de Jehová; ni vendrá al pensamiento, ni se acordarán de ella, ni la visitarán, ni se hará más.

Allora Gerusalemme sarà chiamata “il trono dell’Eterno”; tutte le nazioni si raduneranno a Gerusalemme nel nome dell’Eterno, e non cammineranno più secondo la caparbietà del loro cuore malvagio.
En aquel tiempo llamarán á Jerusalem Trono de Jehová, y todas las gentes se congregarán á ella en el nombre de Jehová en Jerusalem: ni andarán más tras la dureza de su corazón malvado.
At that time they shall call Jerusalem the throne of the LORD; and all the nations shall be gathered unto it, to the name of the LORD, to Jerusalem: neither shall they walk any more after the imagination of their evil heart.

In quei giorni, la casa di Giuda camminerà con la casa d’Israele, e verranno assieme dal paese del settentrione al paese ch’io detti in eredità ai vostri padri.
En aquellos tiempos irán de la casa de Judá á la casa de Israel, y vendrán juntamente de tierra del aquilón á la tierra que hice heredar á vuestros padres.
In those days the house of Judah shall walk with the house of Israel, and they shall come together out of the land of the north to the land that I have given for an inheritance unto your fathers.

Io avevo detto: “Oh qual posto ti darò tra i miei figliuoli! Che paese delizioso ti darò! la più bella eredità delle nazioni!” Avevo detto: “Tu mi chiamerai: Padre mio! e non cesserai di seguirmi”.

Ma, proprio come una donna è infedele al suo amante, così voi mi siete stati infedeli, o casa d’Israele! dice l’Eterno.

Una voce s’è fatta udire sulle alture; sono i pianti, le supplicazioni de’ figliuoli d’Israele, perché hanno pervertito la loro via, hanno dimenticato l’Eterno, il loro Dio.
Voz sobre las alturas fué oída, llanto de los ruegos de los hijos de Israel; porque han torcido su camino, de Jehová su Dios se han olvidado.
A voice was heard upon the high places, weeping and supplications of the children of Israel: for they have perverted their way, and they have forgotten the LORD their God.

Sì, certo, vano è il soccorso che s’aspetta dalle alture, dalle feste strepitose sui monti; sì, nell’Eterno, nel nostro Dio, sta la salvezza d’Israele.
Ciertamente vanidad son los collados, la multitud de los montes: ciertamente en Jehová nuestro Dios está la salud de Israel.
Truly in vain is salvation hoped for from the hills, and from the multitude of mountains: truly in the LORD our God is the salvation of Israel.
Truly help from the hills, the tumult on the mountains, is in vain. Truly the salvation of Israel is in the LORD our God.
Quella vergogna, che son gl’idoli, ha divorato il prodotto della fatica de’ nostri padri fin dalla nostra giovinezza, le loro pecore e i loro buoi, i loro figliuoli e le loro figliuole.
Confusión consumió el trabajo de nuestros padres desde nuestra mocedad; sus ovejas, sus vacas, sus hijos y sus hijas.
