Siehe, da hast du das ganze Land vor dir; wo dich's gut dünkt und dir gefällt, da zeuch hin.
PALABRA que fué á Jeremías de Jehová, después que Nabuzaradán capitán de la guardia le envió desde Ramá, cuando le tomó estando atado con esposas entre toda la transmigración de Jerusalem y de Judá que iban cautivos á Babilonia.
The word that came to Jeremiah from the LORD, after that Nebuzar-adan the captain of the guard had let him go from Ramah, when he had taken him being bound in chains among all that were carried away captive of Jerusalem and Judah, which were carried away captive unto Babylon.

Darum magst du kehren zu Gedalja, dem Sohn Ahikams, des Sohns Saphans, welchen der König zu Babel gesetzt hat über die Städte in Juda, und bei demselbigen unter dem Volk bleiben; oder gehe, wohin dir's wohlgefällt. Und der Hauptmann gab ihm Zehrung und Geschenke und ließ ihn gehen.
Tomó pues el capitán de la guardia á Jeremías, y díjole: Jehová tu Dios habló este mal contra este lugar;

Also kam Jeremia zu Gedalja, dem Sohn Ahikams, gen Mizpa und blieb bei ihm unter dem Volk, das im Lande noch übrig war.
Y halo traído y hecho Jehová según que había dicho: porque pecasteis contra Jehová, y no oísteis su voz, por eso os ha venido esto.

Da nun die Hauptleute, so auf dem Felde sich enthielten, samt ihren Leuten erfuhren, daß der König zu Babel hatte Gedalja, den Sohn Ahikams, über das Land gesetzt und beide, über Männer und Weiber, Kinder und die Geringen im Lande, welche nicht gen Babel geführet waren,
Y ahora yo te he soltado hoy de las esposas que tenías en tus manos. Si te está bien venir conmigo á Babilonia, ven, y yo miraré por ti; mas si no te está bien venir conmigo á Babilonia, déjalo: mira, toda la tierra está delante de ti; ve á donde mejor y más cómodo te pareciere ir.
And now, behold, I loose thee this day from the chains which were upon thine hand. If it seem good unto thee to come with me into Babylon, come; and I will look well unto thee: but if it seem ill unto thee to come with me into Babylon, forbear: behold, all the land is before thee: whither it seemeth good and convenient for thee to go, thither go.
Now, behold, I release you today from the chains which are on your hand. If it seems good to you to come with me into Babylon, come, and I will take care of you; but if it seems bad to you to come with me into Babylon, don’t. Behold, all the land is before you. Where it seems good and right to you to go, go there.”
kamen sie zu Gedalja gen Mizpa, nämlich Ismael, der Sohn Nethanjas, Johanan und Jonathan, die Söhne Kareahs, und Seraja, der Sohn Thanhumeths, und die Söhne Ephai von Netophath und Jesanja, der Sohn Maachathis, samt ihren Männern.
Y aun no se había él vuelto, cuando le dijo: Vuélvete á Gedalías hijo de Ahicam, hijo de Saphán, al cual el rey de Babilonia ha puesto sobre todas las ciudades de Judá, y vive con él en medio del pueblo: ó ve á donde te pareciere más cómodo de ir. Y dióle el capitán de la guardia presentes y dones, y despidióle.
Now while he was not yet gone back, he said, Go back also to Gedaliah the son of Ahikam the son of Shaphan, whom the king of Babylon hath made governor over the cities of Judah, and dwell with him among the people: or go wheresoever it seemeth convenient unto thee to go. So the captain of the guard gave him victuals and a reward, and let him go.
Now while he had not yet gone back, “Go back then,” he said, “to Gedaliah the son of Ahikam, the son of Shaphan, whom the king of Babylon has made governor over the cities of Judah, and dwell with him among the people; or go wherever it seems right to you to go.” So the captain of the guard gave him food and a present, and let him go.
Und Gedalja, der Sohn Ahikams, des Sohns Saphans, tat ihnen und ihren Männern einen Eid und sprach: Fürchtet euch nicht, daß ihr den Chaldäern untertan sein sollet; bleibet im Lande und seid dem Könige zu Babel untertan, so wird's euch wohlgehen.
Fuése entonces Jeremías á Gedalías hijo de Ahicam, á Mizpa, y moró con él en medio del pueblo que había quedado en la tierra.
Then went Jeremiah unto Gedaliah the son of Ahikam to Mizpah; and dwelt with him among the people that were left in the land.

kamen sie alle wieder von allen Orten, dahin sie verstoßen waren, ins Land Juda zu Gedalja gen Mizpa und sammelten ein sehr viel Weins und Sommerfrüchte.

und sprachen zu ihm: Weißt du auch, daß Baalis, der König der Kinder Ammon, gesandt hat Ismael, den Sohn Nethanjas, daß er dich soll erschlagen? Das wollte ihnen aber Gedalja, der Sohn Ahikams, nicht glauben.

Da sprach Johanan, der Sohn Kareahs, zu Gedalja heimlich zu Mizpa: Lieber, ich will hingehen und Ismael, den Sohn Nethanjas, schlagen, daß es niemand erfahren soll. Warum soll er dich erschlagen, daß alle Juden, so zu dir versammelt sind, zerstreuet werden und die noch aus Juda überblieben sind, umkommen?
Todos estos Judíos tornaron entonces de todas las partes adonde habían sido echados, y vinieron á tierra de Judá, á Gedalías en Mizpa; y cogieron vino y muy muchos frutos.

Aber im siebenten Monden kam Ismael, der Sohn Nethanjas, des Sohns Elisamas, aus königlichem Stamm, samt den Obersten des Königs und zehn Männer mit ihm zu Gedalja, dem Sohn Ahikams, gen Mizpa und aßen daselbst zu Mizpa miteinander.

And said unto him, Dost thou certainly know that Baalis the king of the Ammonites hath sent Ishmael the son of Nethaniah to slay thee? But Gedaliah the son of Ahikam believed them not.
and said to him, “Do you know that Baalis the king of the children of Ammon has sent Ishmael the son of Nethaniah to take your life?” But Gedaliah the son of Ahikam didn’t believe them.
Und Ismael, der Sohn Nethanjas, machte sich auf samt den zehn Männern, die bei ihm waren, und schlugen Gedalja, den Sohn Ahikams, des Sohns Saphans, mit dem Schwert zu Tode, darum daß ihn der König zu Babel über das Land gesetzt hatte.
Entonces Johanán hijo de Carea habló á Gedalías en secreto, en Mizpa, diciendo: Yo iré ahora, y heriré á Ismael hijo de Nethanías, y hombre no lo sabrá: ¿por qué te ha de matar, y todos los Judíos que se han recogido á ti se derramarán, y perecerá el resto de Judá?
Then Johanan the son of Kareah spake to Gedaliah in Mizpah secretly, saying, Let me go, I pray thee, and I will slay Ishmael the son of Nethaniah, and no man shall know it: wherefore should he slay thee, that all the Jews which are gathered unto thee should be scattered, and the remnant in Judah perish?
Then Johanan the son of Kareah spoke to Gedaliah in Mizpah secretly, saying, “Please let me go, and I will kill Ishmael the son of Nethaniah, and no man will know it. Why should he take your life, that all the Jews who are gathered to you should be scattered, and the remnant of Judah perish?”
Dazu alle Juden die bei Gedalja waren zu Mizpa, und die Chaldäer, die sie daselbst fanden, und alle Kriegsleute schlug Ismael.
Pero Gedalías hijo de Ahicam dijo á Johanán hijo de Carea: No hagas esto, porque falso es lo que tú dices de Ismael.
But Gedaliah the son of Ahikam said unto Johanan the son of Kareah, Thou shalt not do this thing: for thou speakest falsely of Ishmael.
