Jeremías 44

Et Jérémie dit au roi : Quel tort ai-je fait à toi et à tes serviteurs, et à tout ce peuple, pour que vous me mettiez en prison ?

Mas desde que cesamos de ofrecer sahumerios á la reina del cielo, y de derramarle libaciones, nos falta todo, y á cuchillo y á hambre somos consumidos.

But since we left off to burn incense to the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto her, we have wanted all things, and have been consumed by the sword and by the famine.
