Jeremías 44

Aber sie hörten nicht und sie neigten nicht ihr Ohr, daß sie umkehrten von ihrer Bosheit, daß sie anderen Göttern nicht räucherten.

Mas no oyeron ni inclinaron su oído para convertirse de su maldad, para no ofrecer sahumerios á dioses ajenos.

But they hearkened not, nor inclined their ear to turn from their wickedness, to burn no incense unto other gods.

But they didn’t listen and didn’t incline their ear. They didn’t turn from their wickedness, to stop burning incense to other gods.
