Jeremías 44

La parole qui fut adressée à Jérémie touchant tous les Juifs qui demeuraient au pays d’Egypte, et qui habitaient à Migdol, à Taphnés, à Noph, et au pays de Patros, en disant :

PALABRA que fué á Jeremías acerca de todos los Judíos que moraban en la tierra de Egipto, que moraban en Migdol, y en Taphnes, y en Noph, y en tierra de Pathros, diciendo:

The word that came to Jeremiah concerning all the Jews which dwell in the land of Egypt, which dwell at Migdol, and at Tahpanhes, and at Noph, and in the country of Pathros, saying,

The word that came to Jeremiah concerning all the Jews who lived in the land of Egypt, who lived at Migdol, and at Tahpanhes, and at Memphis, and in the country of Pathros, saying,

Ainsi a dit l’Eternel des armées, le Dieu d’Israël : vous avez vu tout le mal que j’ai fait venir sur Jérusalem, et sur toutes les villes de Juda ; et voici elles sont aujourd’hui un désert, et personne n’y demeure ;

Así ha dicho Jehová de los ejércitos, Dios de Israel: Vosotros habéis visto todo el mal que traje sobre Jerusalem y sobre todas las ciudades de Judá: y he aquí que ellas están el día de hoy asoladas, ni hay en ellas morador;

Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Ye have seen all the evil that I have brought upon Jerusalem, and upon all the cities of Judah; and, behold, this day they are a desolation, and no man dwelleth therein,

“The LORD of Armies, the God of Israel, says: ‘You have seen all the evil that I have brought on Jerusalem, and on all the cities of Judah. Behold, today they are a desolation, and no man dwells in them,

A cause des maux qu’ils ont faits pour m’irriter, en allant faire des encensements pour servir d’autres dieux, lesquels ils n’ont point connus, ni eux, ni vous, ni vos pères.

A causa de la maldad de ellos que cometieron para hacerme enojar, yendo á ofrecer sahumerios, honrando dioses ajenos que ellos no habían conocido, vosotros, ni vuestros padres.

Because of their wickedness which they have committed to provoke me to anger, in that they went to burn incense, and to serve other gods, whom they knew not, neither they, ye, nor your fathers.

Et je vous ai envoyé tous mes serviteurs les Prophètes, me levant dès le matin, et les envoyant pour vous dire : ne commettez point maintenant cette chose abominable, laquelle je hais.

Y envié á vosotros á todos mis siervos los profetas, madrugando y enviándolos, diciendo: No hagáis ahora esta cosa abominable que yo aborrezco.

Howbeit I sent unto you all my servants the prophets, rising early and sending them, saying, Oh, do not this abominable thing that I hate.

However I sent to you all my servants the prophets, rising up early and sending them, saying, “Oh, don’t do this abominable thing that I hate.”

Mais ils n’ont point écouté, et n’ont point incliné leur oreille pour se détourner de leur malice, afin de ne faire point d’encensements à d’autres dieux.

Mas no oyeron ni inclinaron su oído para convertirse de su maldad, para no ofrecer sahumerios á dioses ajenos.

But they hearkened not, nor inclined their ear to turn from their wickedness, to burn no incense unto other gods.

But they didn’t listen and didn’t incline their ear. They didn’t turn from their wickedness, to stop burning incense to other gods.

C’est pourquoi ma fureur et ma colère s’est répandue sur eux et s’est allumée dans les villes de Juda, et dans les rues de Jérusalem, qui sont réduites en désert, et en désolation, comme il paraît aujourd’hui.

Derramóse por tanto mi saña y mi furor, y encendióse en las ciudades de Judá y en las calles de Jerusalem, y tornáronse en soledad y en destrucción, como hoy.

Wherefore my fury and mine anger was poured forth, and was kindled in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem; and they are wasted and desolate, as at this day.

Therefore my wrath and my anger was poured out, and was kindled in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem; and they are wasted and desolate, as it is today.’

Maintenant donc, ainsi a dit l’Eternel, le Dieu des armées, le Dieu d’Israël : pourquoi faites-vous ce grand mal contre vous-mêmes, pour vous faire retrancher du milieu de Juda, hommes et femmes, petits enfants, et ceux qui tètent, afin qu’on ne vous laisse aucun de reste ?

Ahora pues, así ha dicho Jehová de los ejércitos, Dios de Israel: ¿Por qué hacéis tan grande mal contra vuestras almas, para ser talados varón y mujer, niño y mamante, de en medio de Judá, sin que os quede residuo alguno;

Therefore now thus saith the LORD, the God of hosts, the God of Israel; Wherefore commit ye this great evil against your souls, to cut off from you man and woman, child and suckling, out of Judah, to leave you none to remain;

“Therefore now the LORD, the God of Armies, the God of Israel, says: ‘Why do you commit great evil against your own souls, to cut off from yourselves man and woman, infant and nursing child out of the middle of Judah, to leave yourselves no one remaining,

En m’irritant par les oeuvres de vos mains, en faisant des encensements à d’autres dieux dans le pays d’Egypte, auquel vous venez d’entrer pour y séjourner, afin que vous soyez retranchés, et que vous soyez en malédiction et en opprobre parmi toutes les nations de la terre ?

Haciéndome enojar con las obras de vuestras manos, ofreciendo sahumerios á dioses ajenos en la tierra de Egipto, adonde habéis entrado para morar, de suerte que os acabéis, y seáis por maldición y por oprobio á todas las gentes de la tierra?

In that ye provoke me unto wrath with the works of your hands, burning incense unto other gods in the land of Egypt, whither ye be gone to dwell, that ye might cut yourselves off, and that ye might be a curse and a reproach among all the nations of the earth?

in that you provoke me to anger with the works of your hands, burning incense to other gods in the land of Egypt where you have gone to live, that you may be cut off, and that you may be a curse and a reproach among all the nations of the earth?

Avez-vous oublié les crimes de vos pères, et les crimes des Rois de Juda, et les crimes de leurs femmes, et vos propres crimes, et les crimes de vos femmes, qu’elles ont commis dans le pays de Juda, et dans les rues de Jérusalem ?

¿Os habéis olvidado de las maldades de vuestros padres, y de las maldades de los reyes de Judá, y de las maldades de sus mujeres, y de vuestras maldades, y de las maldades de vuestras mujeres, que hicieron en tierra de Judá y en las calles de Jerusalem?

Have ye forgotten the wickedness of your fathers, and the wickedness of the kings of Judah, and the wickedness of their wives, and your own wickedness, and the wickedness of your wives, which they have committed in the land of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem?

Have you forgotten the wickedness of your fathers, the wickedness of the kings of Judah, the wickedness of their wives, your own wickedness, and the wickedness of your wives which they committed in the land of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem?

Jusques à ce jour ils n’ont point été affligés, ils n’ont point eu de crainte, et ils n’ont point marché en ma Loi, ni en mes ordonnances, que je vous ai proposées, et à vos pères aussi.

No se han morigerado hasta el día de hoy, ni han tenido temor, ni han caminado en mi ley, ni en mis estatutos que puse delante de vosotros y delante de vuestros padres.

They are not humbled even unto this day, neither have they feared, nor walked in my law, nor in my statutes, that I set before you and before your fathers.

C’est pourquoi ainsi a dit l’Eternel des armées, le Dieu d’Israël : voici, je m’en vais tourner ma face contre vous pour vous nuire, et pour retrancher tout Juda.

Por tanto, así ha dicho Jehová de los ejércitos, Dios de Israel: He aquí que yo pongo mi rostro en vosotros para mal, y para destruir á todo Judá.

Therefore thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will set my face against you for evil, and to cut off all Judah.

“Therefore the LORD of Armies, the God of Israel, says: ‘Behold, I will set my face against you for evil, even to cut off all Judah.

Et je prendrai le reste de ceux de Juda qui se sont préparés pour entrer au pays d’Egypte, et y séjourner, et ils seront tous consumés ; ils tomberont dans le pays d’Egypte, ils seront consumés par l’épée, et par la famine, depuis le plus petit jusqu’au plus grand ; ils mourront par l’épée, et par la famine ; et ils seront en exécration, en étonnement, en malédiction, et en opprobre.

Y tomaré el resto de Judá que pusieron sus rostros para entrar en tierra de Egipto para morar allí, y en tierra de Egipto serán todos consumidos, caerán á cuchillo, serán consumidos de hambre, á cuchillo y hambre morirán desde el más pequeño hasta el mayor; y serán por juramento, y por espanto, y por maldición, y por oprobio.

And I will take the remnant of Judah, that have set their faces to go into the land of Egypt to sojourn there, and they shall all be consumed, and fall in the land of Egypt; they shall even be consumed by the sword and by the famine: they shall die, from the least even unto the greatest, by the sword and by the famine: and they shall be an execration, and an astonishment, and a curse, and a reproach.

I will take the remnant of Judah that have set their faces to go into the land of Egypt to live there, and they will all be consumed. They will fall in the land of Egypt. They will be consumed by the sword and by the famine. They will die, from the least even to the greatest, by the sword and by the famine. They will be an object of horror, an astonishment, a curse, and a reproach.

Et je punirai ceux qui demeurent au pays d’Egypte, comme j’ai puni Jérusalem, par l’épée, par la famine, et par la mortalité.

Pues visitaré á los que moran en tierra de Egipto, como visité á Jerusalem, con cuchillo, y con hambre, y con pestilencia.

For I will punish them that dwell in the land of Egypt, as I have punished Jerusalem, by the sword, by the famine, and by the pestilence:

For I will punish those who dwell in the land of Egypt, as I have punished Jerusalem, by the sword, by the famine, and by the pestilence;

Et il n’y aura personne des restes de Juda d’entre ceux qui sont venus pour demeurer là, c’est-à-dire, au pays d’Egypte, pour retourner au pays de Juda, auquel ils se promettent de retourner pour y demeurer, qui échappe, et qui y reste ; car pas un ne retournera, sinon ceux qui se seront échappés des autres.

Y del resto de Judá que entraron en tierra de Egipto para morar allí, no habrá quien escape, ni quien quede vivo, para volver á la tierra de Judá, por la cual suspiran ellos por volver para habitar allí: porque no volverán sino los que escaparen.

So that none of the remnant of Judah, which are gone into the land of Egypt to sojourn there, shall escape or remain, that they should return into the land of Judah, to the which they have a desire to return to dwell there: for none shall return but such as shall escape.

so that none of the remnant of Judah, who have gone into the land of Egypt to live there, will escape or be left to return into the land of Judah, to which they have a desire to return to dwell there; for no one will return except those who will escape.’”

Mais tous ceux qui savaient que leurs femmes faisaient des encensements à d’autres dieux, et toutes les femmes qui étaient là en grande compagnie ; et tout le peuple qui demeurait dans le pays d’Egypte, à Patros, répondirent à Jérémie, en disant :

Entonces todos los que sabían que sus mujeres habían ofrecido sahumerios á dioses ajenos, y todas las mujeres que estaban presentes, una gran concurrencia, y todo el pueblo que habitaba en tierra de Egipto, en Pathros, respondieron á Jeremías, diciendo:

Then all the men which knew that their wives had burned incense unto other gods, and all the women that stood by, a great multitude, even all the people that dwelt in the land of Egypt, in Pathros, answered Jeremiah, saying,

Then all the men who knew that their wives burned incense to other gods, and all the women who stood by, a great assembly, even all the people who lived in the land of Egypt, in Pathros, answered Jeremiah, saying,

Quant à la parole que tu nous as dite au Nom de l’Eternel, nous ne t’écouterons point ;

La palabra que nos has hablado en nombre de Jehová, no oímos de ti:

As for the word that thou hast spoken unto us in the name of the LORD, we will not hearken unto thee.

“As for the word that you have spoken to us in the LORD’s name, we will not listen to you.

Mais nous ferons assurément tout ce qui est sorti de notre bouche en faisant des encensements à la Reine des cieux, et lui faisant des aspersions, comme nous et nos pères, nos Rois, et les principaux d’entre nous avons fait dans les villes de Juda, et dans les rues de Jérusalem, et nous avons eu alors abondamment de pain, nous avons été à notre aise, et nous n’avons point vu de mal.

Antes pondremos ciertamente por obra toda palabra que ha salido de nuestra boca, para ofrecer sahumerios á la reina del cielo, y derramándole libaciones, como hemos hecho nosotros y nuestros padres, nuestros reyes y nuestros príncipes, en las ciudades de Judá y en las plazas de Jerusalem, y fuimos hartos de pan, y estuvimos alegres, y no vimos mal alguno.

But we will certainly do whatsoever thing goeth forth out of our own mouth, to burn incense unto the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto her, as we have done, we, and our fathers, our kings, and our princes, in the cities of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem: for then had we plenty of victuals, and were well, and saw no evil.

But we will certainly perform every word that has gone out of our mouth, to burn incense to the queen of the sky and to pour out drink offerings to her, as we have done, we and our fathers, our kings and our princes, in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem; for then we had plenty of food, and were well, and saw no evil.

Mais depuis le temps que nous avons cessé de faire des encensements à la Reine des cieux, et de lui faire des aspersions, nous avons eu faute de tout, et nous avons été consumés par l’épée et par la famine.

Mas desde que cesamos de ofrecer sahumerios á la reina del cielo, y de derramarle libaciones, nos falta todo, y á cuchillo y á hambre somos consumidos.

But since we left off to burn incense to the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto her, we have wanted all things, and have been consumed by the sword and by the famine.

But since we stopped burning incense to the queen of the sky, and pouring out drink offerings to her, we have lacked all things, and have been consumed by the sword and by the famine.”

Quand nous faisions des encensements à la Reine des cieux, et quand nous lui faisions des aspersions, lui avons-nous offert à l’insu de nos maris des gâteaux sur lesquels elle était représentée, ou lui avons-nous répandu des aspersions ?

Y cuando ofrecimos sahumerios á la reina del cielo, y le derramamos libaciones, ¿hicímosle nosotras tortas para tributarle culto, y le derramamos libaciones, sin nuestros maridos?

And when we burned incense to the queen of heaven, and poured out drink offerings unto her, did we make her cakes to worship her, and pour out drink offerings unto her, without our men?

The women said, “When we burned incense to the queen of the sky and poured out drink offerings to her, did we make her cakes to worship her, and pour out drink offerings to her, without our husbands?”

Alors Jérémie parla à tout le peuple, contre les hommes, et contre les femmes, et contre tout le peuple qui avait fait cette réponse, et leur dit :

Y habló Jeremías á todo el pueblo, á los hombres y á las mujeres, y á todo el vulgo que le había respondido esto, diciendo:

Then Jeremiah said unto all the people, to the men, and to the women, and to all the people which had given him that answer, saying,

Then Jeremiah said to all the people—to the men and to the women, even to all the people who had given him an answer, saying,

L’Eternel ne s’est-il pas souvenu des encensements que vous avez faits dans les villes de Juda, et dans les rues de Jérusalem, vous et vos pères, vos Rois et les principaux d’entre vous, et le peuple du pays, et son coeur n’en a-t-il pas été touché ?

¿No se ha acordado Jehová, y no ha venido á su memoria el sahumerio que ofrecisteis en las ciudades de Judá, y en las plazas de Jerusalem, vosotros y vuestros padres, vuestros reyes y vuestros príncipes, y el pueblo de la tierra?

The incense that ye burned in the cities of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem, ye, and your fathers, your kings, and your princes, and the people of the land, did not the LORD remember them, and came it not into his mind?

“The incense that you burned in the cities of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem, you and your fathers, your kings and your princes, and the people of the land, didn’t the LORD remember them, and didn’t it come into his mind?

En sorte que l’Eternel ne l’a pu supporter davantage, à cause de la malice de vos actions, et à cause des abominations que vous avez commises ; tellement que votre pays a été réduit en désert, et en étonnement, et en malédiction, sans que personne y habite, comme il paraît aujourd’hui.

Y no pudo sufrir más Jehová á causa de la maldad de vuestras obras, á causa de las abominaciones que habíais hecho: por tanto vuestra tierra fué en asolamiento, y en espanto, y en maldición, hasta no quedar morador, como hoy.

So that the LORD could no longer bear, because of the evil of your doings, and because of the abominations which ye have committed; therefore is your land a desolation, and an astonishment, and a curse, without an inhabitant, as at this day.

Thus the LORD could no longer bear it, because of the evil of your doings and because of the abominations which you have committed. Therefore your land has become a desolation, an astonishment, and a curse, without inhabitant, as it is today.

Parce donc que vous avez fait ces encensements, et que vous avez péché contre l’Eternel, et que vous n’avez point écouté la voix de l’Eternel, et n’avez point marché en sa Loi, ni en ses ordonnances, ni en ses témoignages, à cause de cela ce mal vous est arrivé, comme il paraît aujourd’hui.

Porque ofrecisteis sahumerios, y pecasteis contra Jehová, y no obedecisteis á la voz de Jehová, ni anduvisteis en su ley, ni en sus estatutos, ni en sus testimonios: por tanto ha venido sobre vosotros este mal, como hoy.

Because ye have burned incense, and because ye have sinned against the LORD, and have not obeyed the voice of the LORD, nor walked in his law, nor in his statutes, nor in his testimonies; therefore this evil is happened unto you, as at this day.

Because you have burned incense and because you have sinned against the LORD, and have not obeyed the LORD’s voice, nor walked in his law, nor in his statutes, nor in his testimonies; therefore this evil has happened to you, as it is today.”

Puis Jérémie dit à tout le peuple, et à toutes les femmes : vous tous ceux de Juda, qui êtes au pays d’Egypte, écoutez la parole de l’Eternel.

Y dijo Jeremías á todo el pueblo, y á todas las mujeres: Oid palabra de Jehová, todos los de Judá que estáis en tierra de Egipto:

Moreover Jeremiah said unto all the people, and to all the women, Hear the word of the LORD, all Judah that are in the land of Egypt:

Moreover Jeremiah said to all the people, including all the women, “Hear the LORD’s word, all Judah who are in the land of Egypt!

Ainsi a parlé l’Eternel des armées le Dieu d’Israël, en disant : c’est vous, et vos femmes qui ont parlé par votre bouche touchant ce que vous avez accompli de vos mains, en disant : certainement nous accomplirons nos voeux que nous avons voués, en faisant des encensements à la Reine des cieux ; et lui faisant des aspersions. Vous avez entièrement accompli vos voeux, et vous les avez effectués très exactement.

Así ha hablado Jehová de los ejércitos, Dios de Israel, diciendo: Vosotros y vuestras mujeres proferisteis con vuestras bocas, y con vuestras manos lo ejecutasteis, diciendo: Cumpliremos efectivamente nuestros votos que hicimos, de ofrecer sahumerios á la reina del cielo y de derramarle libaciones: confirmáis á la verdad vuestros votos, y ponéis vuestros votos por obra.

Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, saying; Ye and your wives have both spoken with your mouths, and fulfilled with your hand, saying, We will surely perform our vows that we have vowed, to burn incense to the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto her: ye will surely accomplish your vows, and surely perform your vows.

The LORD of Armies, the God of Israel, says, ‘You and your wives have both spoken with your mouths, and with your hands have fulfilled it, saying, “We will surely perform our vows that we have vowed, to burn incense to the queen of the sky, and to pour out drink offerings to her.” “‘Establish then your vows, and perform your vows.’

C’est pourquoi écoutez la parole de l’Eternel, vous tous ceux de Juda qui demeurez au pays d’Egypte : voici, j’ai juré par mon grand Nom, a dit l’Eternel, que mon Nom ne sera plus réclamé par la bouche d’aucun de Juda, qui dise en tout le pays d’Egypte : le Seigneur l’Eternel est vivant.

Por tanto, oid palabra de Jehová, todo Judá que habitáis en tierra de Egipto: He aquí he jurado por mi grande nombre, dice Jehová, que mi nombre no será más invocado en toda la tierra de Egipto por boca de ningún hombre Judío, diciendo: Vive el Señor Jehová.

Therefore hear ye the word of the LORD, all Judah that dwell in the land of Egypt; Behold, I have sworn by my great name, saith the LORD, that my name shall no more be named in the mouth of any man of Judah in all the land of Egypt, saying, The Lord GOD liveth.

“Therefore hear the LORD’s word, all Judah who dwell in the land of Egypt: ‘Behold, I have sworn by my great name,’ says the LORD, ‘that my name will no more be named in the mouth of any man of Judah in all the land of Egypt, saying, “As the Lord GOD lives.”

Voici, je veille contre eux pour leur mal, et non pour leur bien ; et tous les hommes de Juda qui sont au pays d’Egypte seront consumés par l’épée, et par la famine, jusqu’à ce qu’il n’y en ait plus aucun.

He aquí que yo velo sobre ellos para mal, y no para bien; y todos los hombres de Judá que están en tierra de Egipto, serán consumidos á cuchillo y de hambre, hasta que perezcan del todo.

Behold, I will watch over them for evil, and not for good: and all the men of Judah that are in the land of Egypt shall be consumed by the sword and by the famine, until there be an end of them.

Behold, I watch over them for evil, and not for good; and all the men of Judah who are in the land of Egypt will be consumed by the sword and by the famine, until they are all gone.

Et ceux qui seront échappés de l’épée retourneront du pays d’Egypte au pays de Juda en fort petit nombre, et tout le reste de ceux de Juda qui seront entrés au pays d’Egypte pour y séjourner, saura quelle est la parole qui s’accomplira, la mienne, ou la leur.

Y los que escaparen del cuchillo, volverán de tierra de Egipto á tierra de Judá, pocos hombres; sabrán pues todas las reliquias de Judá, que han entrado en Egipto á morar allí la palabra de quién ha de permanecer, si la mía, ó la suya.

Yet a small number that escape the sword shall return out of the land of Egypt into the land of Judah, and all the remnant of Judah, that are gone into the land of Egypt to sojourn there, shall know whose words shall stand, mine, or theirs.

Those who escape the sword will return out of the land of Egypt into the land of Judah few in number. All the remnant of Judah, who have gone into the land of Egypt to live there, will know whose word will stand, mine or theirs.

Et ceci vous sera pour signe, dit l’Eternel, que je vous punirai en ce lieu-ci, afin que vous sachiez que mes paroles seront infailliblement accomplies contre vous en mal.

Y esto tendréis por señal, dice Jehová, de que en este lugar os visito, para que sepáis que de cierto permanecerán mis palabras para mal sobre vosotros.

And this shall be a sign unto you, saith the LORD, that I will punish you in this place, that ye may know that my words shall surely stand against you for evil:

“‘This will be the sign to you,’ says the LORD, ‘that I will punish you in this place, that you may know that my words will surely stand against you for evil.’

Ainsi a dit l’Eternel : voici, je m’en vais livrer Pharaon-Hophrah Roi d’Egypte en la main de ses ennemis, et en la main de ceux qui cherchent sa vie, comme j’ai livré Sédécias Roi de Juda en la main de Nébucadnetsar Roi de Babylone son ennemi, et qui cherchait sa vie.

Así ha dicho Jehová: He aquí que yo entrego á Faraón Hophra rey de Egipto en mano de sus enemigos, y en mano de los que buscan su alma, como entregué á Sedechîas rey de Judá en mano de Nabucodonosor rey de Babilonia, su enemigo, y que buscaba su alma.

Thus saith the LORD; Behold, I will give Pharaoh-hophra king of Egypt into the hand of his enemies, and into the hand of them that seek his life; as I gave Zedekiah king of Judah into the hand of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon, his enemy, and that sought his life.

The LORD says, ‘Behold, I will give Pharaoh Hophra king of Egypt into the hand of his enemies and into the hand of those who seek his life, just as I gave Zedekiah king of Judah into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, who was his enemy and sought his life.’”
