Jeremías 46

La parole de l’Eternel qui fut adressée à Jérémie le Prophète contre les nations.

PALABRA de Jehová que fué á Jeremías profeta, contra las gentes.

The word of the LORD which came to Jeremiah the prophet against the Gentiles;

The LORD’s word which came to Jeremiah the prophet concerning the nations.

A l’égard de l’Egypte, contre l’armée de Pharaon-Neco Roi d’Egypte, qui était auprès du fleuve d’Euphrate, à Carkémis, laquelle Nébucadnetsar Roi de Babylone défit en la quatrième année de Jéhojakim, fils de Josias Roi de Juda.

En orden á Egipto: contra el ejército de Faraón Nechâo rey de Egipto, que estaba cerca del río Eufrates en Carchêmis, al cual hirió Nabucodonosor rey de Babilonia el año cuarto de Joacim hijo de Josías, rey de Judá.

Against Egypt, against the army of Pharaoh-necho king of Egypt, which was by the river Euphrates in Carchemish, which Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon smote in the fourth year of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah.

Of Egypt: concerning the army of Pharaoh Necoh king of Egypt, which was by the river Euphrates in Carchemish, which Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon struck in the fourth year of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah, king of Judah.

Préparez le bouclier et l’écu, et approchez-vous pour la bataille.

Aparejad escudo y pavés, y venid á la guerra.

Order ye the buckler and shield, and draw near to battle.

“Prepare the buckler and shield, and draw near to battle!

Attelez les chevaux, et vous cavaliers, montez ; présentez-vous avec les casques, fourbissez les lances, revêtez les cuirasses.

Uncid caballos, y subid, vosotros los caballeros, y poneos con capacetes; limpiad las lanzas, vestíos de lorigas.

Harness the horses; and get up, ye horsemen, and stand forth with your helmets; furbish the spears, and put on the brigandines.

Harness the horses, and get up, you horsemen, and stand up with your helmets. Polish the spears, put on the coats of mail.

D’où vient que je vois ceci ? Ils sont effrayés ; ils tournent en arrière ; leurs hommes forts ont été défaits, et s’enfuient avec précipitation, sans regarder derrière eux ; la frayeur les environne, dit l’Eternel.

¿Por qué los vi medrosos, tornando atrás? y sus valientes fueron deshechos, y huyeron á más huir sin volver á mirar atrás: miedo de todas partes, dice Jehová.

Wherefore have I seen them dismayed and turned away back? and their mighty ones are beaten down, and are fled apace, and look not back: for fear was round about, saith the LORD.

Why have I seen it? They are dismayed and are turned backward. Their mighty ones are beaten down, have fled in haste, and don’t look back. Terror is on every side,” says the LORD.

Que l’homme léger à la course ne s’enfuie point, et que le fort ne se sauve point ; ils sont renversés et tombés vers l’Aquilon, auprès du rivage du fleuve d’Euphrate.

No huya el ligero, ni el valiente escape; al aquilón junto á la ribera del Eufrates tropezaron y cayeron.

Let not the swift flee away, nor the mighty man escape; they shall stumble, and fall toward the north by the river Euphrates.

“Don’t let the swift flee away, nor the mighty man escape. In the north by the river Euphrates they have stumbled and fallen.

Qui est celui-ci qui s’élève comme une rivière, et duquel les eaux sont émues comme les fleuves ?

¿Quién es éste que como río sube, y cuyas aguas se mueven como ríos?

Who is this that cometh up as a flood, whose waters are moved as the rivers?

“Who is this who rises up like the Nile, like rivers whose waters surge?

C’est l’Egypte ; elle s’élève comme une rivière, et ses eaux s’émeuvent comme les fleuves ; et elle dit : je m’élèverai, je couvrirai la terre, je détruirai les villes, et ceux qui y habitent.

Egipto como río se hincha, y las aguas se mueven como ríos, y dijo: Subiré, cubriré la tierra, destruiré la ciudad y los que en ella moran.

Egypt riseth up like a flood, and his waters are moved like the rivers; and he saith, I will go up, and will cover the earth; I will destroy the city and the inhabitants thereof.

Egypt rises up like the Nile, like rivers whose waters surge. He says, ‘I will rise up. I will cover the earth. I will destroy cities and its inhabitants.’

Montez chevaux, agissez en furieux, venez chariots, et que les hommes forts sortent : ceux de Cus et de Put qui manient le bouclier, et les Ludiens qui manient et bandent l’arc.

Subid, caballos, y alborotaos, carros; y salgan los valientes: los de Cus y los de Phut que toman escudo, y los de Lut que toman y entesan arco.

Come up, ye horses; and rage, ye chariots; and let the mighty men come forth; the Ethiopians and the Libyans, that handle the shield; and the Lydians, that handle and bend the bow.

Go up, you horses! Rage, you chariots! Let the mighty men go out: Cush and Put, who handle the shield; and the Ludim, who handle and bend the bow.

Car c’est ici la journée du Seigneur l’Eternel des armées, journée de vengeance, pour se venger de ses adversaires. L’épée dévorera, et elle sera rassasiée et enivrée de leur sang ; car il y a un sacrifice au Seigneur l’Eternel des armées dans le pays de l’Aquilon, auprès du fleuve d’Euphrate.

Mas ese día será á Jehová Dios de los ejércitos día de venganza, para vengarse de sus enemigos: y la espada devorará y se hartará, y se embriagará de la sangre de ellos: porque matanza será á Jehová, Dios de los ejércitos, en tierra del aquilón junto al río Eufrates.

For this is the day of the Lord GOD of hosts, a day of vengeance, that he may avenge him of his adversaries: and the sword shall devour, and it shall be satiate and made drunk with their blood: for the Lord GOD of hosts hath a sacrifice in the north country by the river Euphrates.

For that day is of the Lord, GOD of Armies, a day of vengeance, that he may avenge himself of his adversaries. The sword will devour and be satiated, and will drink its fill of their blood; for the Lord, GOD of Armies, has a sacrifice in the north country by the river Euphrates.

Monte en Galaad, et prends du baume, vierge fille d’Egypte. En vain emploies-tu remède sur remède ; car il n’y a point de guérison pour toi.

Sube á Galaad, y toma bálsamo, virgen hija de Egipto: por demás multiplicarás medicinas; no hay cura para ti.

Go up into Gilead, and take balm, O virgin, the daughter of Egypt: in vain shalt thou use many medicines; for thou shalt not be cured.

Go up into Gilead, and take balm, virgin daughter of Egypt. You use many medicines in vain. There is no healing for you.

Les nations ont appris ton ignominie, et ton cri a rempli la terre ; car le fort est tombé sur le fort, et ils sont tombés tous deux ensemble.

Las gentes oyeron tu afrenta, y tu clamor hinchió la tierra: porque fuerte se encontró con fuerte, y cayeron ambos juntos.

The nations have heard of thy shame, and thy cry hath filled the land: for the mighty man hath stumbled against the mighty, and they are fallen both together.

The nations have heard of your shame, and the earth is full of your cry; for the mighty man has stumbled against the mighty, they both fall together.”

La parole que l’Eternel prononça à Jérémie le Prophète touchant la venue de Nébucadnetsar Roi de Babylone, pour frapper le pays d’Egypte :

Palabra que habló Jehová á Jeremías profeta acerca de la venida de Nabucodonosor, rey de Babilonia, para herir la tierra de Egipto:

The word that the LORD spake to Jeremiah the prophet, how Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon should come and smite the land of Egypt.

The word that the LORD spoke to Jeremiah the prophet, how that Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon should come and strike the land of Egypt:

Faites savoir en Egypte, et publiez à Migdol, à Noph, et à Taphnés ; et dites : présente-toi, et te tiens prêt ; car l’épée a dévoré ce qui est autour de toi.

Denunciad en Egipto, y haced saber en Migdol: haced saber también en Noph y en Taphnes; decid: Para, y apercíbete; porque espada ha de devorar tu comarca.

Declare ye in Egypt, and publish in Migdol, and publish in Noph and in Tahpanhes: say ye, Stand fast, and prepare thee; for the sword shall devour round about thee.

“Declare in Egypt, publish in Migdol, and publish in Memphis and in Tahpanhes; say, ‘Stand up, and prepare, for the sword has devoured around you.’

Pourquoi chacun de tes vaillants hommes a-t-il été emporté ? il n’a pu tenir ferme, parce que l’Eternel l’a poussé.

¿Por qué ha sido derribado tu fuerte? no se pudo tener, porque Jehová lo rempujó.

Why are thy valiant men swept away? they stood not, because the LORD did drive them.

Why are your strong ones swept away? They didn’t stand, because the LORD pushed them.

Il en a terrassé un grand nombre, et même chacun est tombé sur son compagnon, et ils ont dit : lève-toi, retournons à notre peuple, et au pays de notre naissance, loin de l’épée de l’oppresseur.

Multiplicó los caídos, y cada uno cayó sobre su compañero, y dijeron: Levántate y volvámonos á nuestro pueblo, y á la tierra de nuestro nacimiento, de delante de la espada vencedora.

He made many to fall, yea, one fell upon another: and they said, Arise, and let us go again to our own people, and to the land of our nativity, from the oppressing sword.

He made many to stumble. Yes, they fell on one another. They said, ‘Arise! Let’s go again to our own people, and to the land of our birth, from the oppressing sword.’

Ils ont crié là, Pharaon Roi d’Egypte n’est que bruit ; il a laissé passer le temps assigné.

Allí gritaron: Faraón rey de Egipto, rey de revuelta: dejó pasar el tiempo señalado.

They did cry there, Pharaoh king of Egypt is but a noise; he hath passed the time appointed.

They cried there, ‘Pharaoh king of Egypt is but a noise; he has let the appointed time pass by.’

Je suis vivant, dit le Roi dont le Nom est l’Eternel des armées, que comme Tabor est entre les montagnes, et comme Carmel est dans la mer, ainsi viendra-t-il.

Vivo yo, dice el Rey, cuyo nombre es Jehová de los ejércitos, que como Tabor entre los montes, y como Carmelo en la mar, así vendrá.

As I live, saith the King, whose name is the LORD of hosts, Surely as Tabor is among the mountains, and as Carmel by the sea, so shall he come.

“As I live,” says the King, whose name is the LORD of Armies, “surely like Tabor among the mountains, and like Carmel by the sea, so he will come.

Ô fille habitante de l’Egypte, équipe-toi pour déloger, car Noph sera désolée, et rendue déserte, sans qu’il y ait plus d’habitants.

Hazte vasos de transmigración, moradora hija de Egipto; porque Noph será por yermo, y será asolada hasta no quedar morador.

O thou daughter dwelling in Egypt, furnish thyself to go into captivity: for Noph shall be waste and desolate without an inhabitant.

You daughter who dwells in Egypt, furnish yourself to go into captivity; for Memphis will become a desolation, and will be burned up, without inhabitant.

L’Egypte est une très belle génisse ; mais la destruction vient, elle vient de l’Aquilon.

Becerra hermosa Egipto; mas viene destrucción, del aquilón viene.

Egypt is like a very fair heifer, but destruction cometh; it cometh out of the north.

“Egypt is a very beautiful heifer; but destruction out of the north has come. It has come.

Même les gens de guerre qu’elle entretient chez elle à ses gages, sont comme des veaux engraissés, car aussi ont-ils tourné le dos ; ils s’en sont fuis ensemble, ils n’ont point tenu ferme, parce que le jour de leur calamité, le temps de leur punition est venu sur eux.

Sus soldados también en medio de ella como engordados becerros: que también ellos se volvieron, huyeron todos sin pararse: porque vino sobre ellos el día de su quebrantamiento, el tiempo de su visitación.

Also her hired men are in the midst of her like fatted bullocks; for they also are turned back, and are fled away together: they did not stand, because the day of their calamity was come upon them, and the time of their visitation.

Elle sifflera comme un serpent, car ils marcheront avec une puissante armée, et ils viendront contre elle avec des cognées, comme des bûcherons.

Su voz saldrá como de serpiente; porque con ejército vendrán, y con hachas vienen á ella como cortadores de leña.

The voice thereof shall go like a serpent; for they shall march with an army, and come against her with axes, as hewers of wood.

Its sound will go like the serpent, for they will march with an army, and come against her with axes, as wood cutters.

Ils couperont sa forêt, dit l’Eternel, quoiqu’on n’en pût compter les arbres ; parce que leur armée sera en plus grand nombre que les sauterelles, et on ne saurait la compter.

Cortaron su bosque, dice Jehová, porque no podrán ser contados; porque serán más que langostas, ni tendrán número.

They shall cut down her forest, saith the LORD, though it cannot be searched; because they are more than the grasshoppers, and are innumerable.

La fille d’Egypte est rendue honteuse, elle est livrée entre les mains du peuple de l’Aquilon.

Avergonzóse la hija de Egipto; entregada será en mano del pueblo del aquilón.

The daughter of Egypt shall be confounded; she shall be delivered into the hand of the people of the north.

The daughter of Egypt will be disappointed; she will be delivered into the hand of the people of the north.”

L’Eternel des armées, le Dieu d’Israël, a dit : voici, je m’en vais punir le grand peuple de No, et Pharaon, et l’Egypte, et ses dieux, et ses Rois, tant Pharaon, que ceux qui se confient en lui.

Jehová de los ejércitos, Dios de Israel, ha dicho: He aquí que yo visito el pueblo de Amón de No, y á Faraón y á Egipto, y á sus dioses y á sus reyes; así á Faraón como á los que en él confían.

The LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, saith; Behold, I will punish the multitude of No, and Pharaoh, and Egypt, with their gods, and their kings; even Pharaoh, and all them that trust in him:

The LORD of Armies, the God of Israel, says: “Behold, I will punish Amon of No, and Pharaoh, and Egypt, with her gods and her kings, even Pharaoh, and those who trust in him.

Et je les livrerai entre les mains de ceux qui cherchent leur vie, entre les mains, dis-je, de Nébucadnetsar Roi de Babylone, et entre les mains de ses serviteurs ; mais après cela elle sera habitée comme aux temps passés, dit l’Eternel.

Y entregarélos en mano de los que buscan su alma, y en mano de Nabucodonosor rey de Babilonia, y en mano de sus siervos: mas después será habitada como en los días pasados, dice Jehová.

And I will deliver them into the hand of those that seek their lives, and into the hand of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon, and into the hand of his servants: and afterward it shall be inhabited, as in the days of old, saith the LORD.

Et toi Jacob mon serviteur, ne crains point, et ne t’épouvante point, toi Israël ; car voici, je m’en vais te délivrer du pays éloigné ; et ta postérité, du pays de leur captivité ; et Jacob retournera, et sera en repos et à son aise, et il n’y aura personne qui lui fasse peur.

Y tú no temas, siervo mío Jacob, y no desmayes, Israel; porque he aquí que yo te salvo de lejos, y á tu simiente de la tierra de su cautividad. Y volverá Jacob, y descansará y será prosperado, y no habrá quien lo espante.

But fear not thou, O my servant Jacob, and be not dismayed, O Israel: for, behold, I will save thee from afar off, and thy seed from the land of their captivity; and Jacob shall return, and be in rest and at ease, and none shall make him afraid.

“But don’t you be afraid, Jacob my servant. Don’t be dismayed, Israel; for, behold, I will save you from afar, and your offspring from the land of their captivity. Jacob will return, and will be quiet and at ease. No one will make him afraid.

Toi donc, Jacob mon serviteur, ne crains point, dit l’Eternel ; car je suis avec toi ; et même je consumerai entièrement toutes les nations parmi lesquelles je t’aurai chassé ; mais je ne te consumerai point entièrement, et je te châtierai par mesure ; toutefois je ne te tiendrai pas tout à fait pour innocent.

Tú, siervo mío Jacob, no temas, dice Jehová; porque yo soy contigo: porque haré consumación en todas las gentes á las cuales te habré echado; mas en ti no haré consumación, sino que te castigaré con juicio, y no te talaré del todo.

Fear thou not, O Jacob my servant, saith the LORD: for I am with thee; for I will make a full end of all the nations whither I have driven thee: but I will not make a full end of thee, but correct thee in measure; yet will I not leave thee wholly unpunished.

Don’t be afraid, O Jacob my servant,” says the LORD, “for I am with you; for I will make a full end of all the nations where I have driven you, but I will not make a full end of you, but I will correct you in measure, and will in no way leave you unpunished.”
