Assim diz o SENHOR: Eis que águas sobem do norte, e se tornarão em correnteza transbordante, e inundarão a terra e sua plenitude, as cidades, e moradores delas; os homens gritarão, e todos os moradores da terra uivarão,
Así ha dicho Jehová: He aquí que suben aguas del aquilón, y tornaránse en torrente, é inundarán la tierra y su plenitud, ciudades y moradores de ellas; y los hombres clamarán, y aullará todo morador de la tierra.
Thus saith the LORD; Behold, waters rise up out of the north, and shall be an overflowing flood, and shall overflow the land, and all that is therein; the city, and them that dwell therein: then the men shall cry, and all the inhabitants of the land shall howl.
The LORD says: “Behold, waters rise up out of the north, and will become an overflowing stream, and will overflow the land and all that is therein, the city and those who dwell therein. The men will cry, and all the inhabitants of the land will wail.
Ao ruído dos cascos de seus fortes cavalos ,o tremor de suas caruagens, e o estrondo de suas rodas; os pais não olharão para os filhos por causa da fraqueza das mãos.
Por el sonido de las uñas de sus fuertes, por el alboroto de sus carros, por el estruendo de sus ruedas, los padres no miraron á los hijos por la flaqueza de las manos;
At the noise of the stamping of the hoofs of his strong horses, at the rushing of his chariots, and at the rumbling of his wheels, the fathers shall not look back to their children for feebleness of hands;

Por causa do dia que vem, para arruinar a todos os filisteus, para cortar a Tiro e a Sidom todo ajudador que restar; pois o SENHOR destruirá aos filisteus, ao resto da ilha de Caftor.
A causa del día que viene para destrucción de todos los Palestinos, para talar á Tiro, y á Sidón, á todo ayudador que quedó vivo: porque Jehová destruirá á los Palestinos, al resto de la isla de Caphtor.
Because of the day that cometh to spoil all the Philistines, and to cut off from Tyrus and Zidon every helper that remaineth: for the LORD will spoil the Philistines, the remnant of the country of Caphtor.

Veio calvície sobre Gaza; Ascalom e o resto de seu vale foram cortados fora. Até quando te ferirás com arranhões?
Sobre Gaza vino mesadura, Ascalón fué cortada, y el resto de su valle: ¿hasta cuándo te arañarás?
Baldness is come upon Gaza; Ashkelon is cut off with the remnant of their valley: how long wilt thou cut thyself?
Baldness has come on Gaza; Ashkelon is brought to nothing. You remnant of their valley, how long will you cut yourself?
Ah, espada do SENHOR! Até quando não te aquietarás? Volta-te em tua bainha, descansa, e aquieta-te.
Oh espada de Jehová, ¿hasta cuándo no reposarás? Métete en tu vaina, reposa y sosiega.
O thou sword of the LORD, how long will it be ere thou be quiet? put up thyself into thy scabbard, rest, and be still.
“‘You sword of the LORD, how long will it be before you are quiet? Put yourself back into your scabbard; rest, and be still.’
Como te aquietarias? Pois o SENHOR lhe deu mandado contra Ascalom, e contra o litoral, e ali ele a ordenou.
¿Cómo reposarás? pues que Jehová lo ha enviado contra Ascalón, y á la ribera de la mar, allí lo puso.
How can it be quiet, seeing the LORD hath given it a charge against Ashkelon, and against the sea shore? there hath he appointed it.
