Desde su más temprana historia, Moab ha vivido en su lugar, libre de toda invasión. Es como vino que no ha sido trasvasado y conserva su fragancia y suavidad. ¡Pero ahora será derramado en el destierro!
Quieto estuvo Moab desde su mocedad, y sobre sus heces ha estado él reposado, y no fué trasegado de vaso en vaso, ni nunca fué en cautiverio: por tanto quedó su sabor en él, y su olor no se ha trocado.
Moab hath been at ease from his youth, and he hath settled on his lees, and hath not been emptied from vessel to vessel, neither hath he gone into captivity: therefore his taste remained in him, and his scent is not changed.
