Bezeugt ihm Beileid, ihr seine Umwohner insgesamt und alle, die ihr von seinem Ruhm gehört habt! Ruft aus: »Wie ist doch der starke Herrscherstab zerbrochen, das ruhmvolle Zepter!«

Compadeceos de él todos los que estáis alrededor suyo; y todos los que sabéis su nombre, decid: ¿Cómo se quebró la vara de fortaleza, el báculo de hermosura?

All ye that are about him, bemoan him; and all ye that know his name, say, How is the strong staff broken, and the beautiful rod!
