Bezeuget ihm Beileid, ihr seine Nachbarn alle, und ihr alle, die ihr seinen Namen kennt! Saget: «Wie ist doch das starke Zepter zerbrochen, der prächtige Stab!»

Compadeceos de él todos los que estáis alrededor suyo; y todos los que sabéis su nombre, decid: ¿Cómo se quebró la vara de fortaleza, el báculo de hermosura?

All ye that are about him, bemoan him; and all ye that know his name, say, How is the strong staff broken, and the beautiful rod!

All you who are around him, bemoan him; and all you who know his name, say, ‘How the strong staff is broken, the beautiful rod!’
