Jeremías 48

Plaignez-le, ô vous tous qui êtes ses voisins, vous tous qui connaissez son nom; dites: "Comme elle a été brisée, la verge puissante, le sceptre magnifique!"

Compadeceos de él todos los que estáis alrededor suyo; y todos los que sabéis su nombre, decid: ¿Cómo se quebró la vara de fortaleza, el báculo de hermosura?

All ye that are about him, bemoan him; and all ye that know his name, say, How is the strong staff broken, and the beautiful rod!

All you who are around him, bemoan him; and all you who know his name, say, ‘How the strong staff is broken, the beautiful rod!’
