Jeremías 48

Tiens-toi sur le chemin, et regarde, habitante d’Aroër! Interroge le fuyard, le réchappé, Demande: Qu’est-il arrivé?

Párate en el camino, y mira, oh moradora de Aroer: pregunta á la que va huyendo, y á la que escapó; dile: ¿Qué ha acontecido?

O inhabitant of Aroer, stand by the way, and espy; ask him that fleeth, and her that escapeth, and say, What is done?

Inhabitant of Aroer, stand by the way and watch. Ask him who flees, and her who escapes; say, ‘What has been done?’
