Jeremías 48

Quant à Moab ; ainsi a dit l’Eternel des armées, le Dieu d’Israël : malheur à Nébo, car elle a été saccagée ! Kiriathajim a été rendue honteuse, et a été prise ; la haute retraite a été rendue honteuse et effrayée.

ACERCA de Moab. Así ha dicho Jehová de los ejércitos, Dios de Israel: ¡Ay de Nebo! que fué destruída, fué avergonzada; Chîriathaim fué tomada; fué confusa Misgab, y desmayó.

Against Moab thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Woe unto Nebo! for it is spoiled: Kiriathaim is confounded and taken: Misgab is confounded and dismayed.

Of Moab. The LORD of Armies, the God of Israel, says: “Woe to Nebo! For it is laid waste. Kiriathaim is disappointed. It is taken. Misgab is put to shame and broken down.

Moab ne se glorifiera plus de Hesbon ; car on a machiné du mal contre elle, en disant : venez, et exterminons-la, et qu’elle ne soit plus nation ; toi aussi Madmen tu seras détruite, et l’épée te poursuivra.

No se alabará ya más Moab; contra Hesbón maquinaron mal, diciendo: Venid, y quitémosla de entre las gentes. También tú, Madmén, serás cortada, espada irá tras ti.

There shall be no more praise of Moab: in Heshbon they have devised evil against it; come, and let us cut it off from being a nation. Also thou shalt be cut down, O Madmen; the sword shall pursue thee.

The praise of Moab is no more. In Heshbon they have devised evil against her: ‘Come! Let’s cut her off from being a nation.’ You also, Madmen, will be brought to silence. The sword will pursue you.

Il y a un bruit de crierie de devers Horonajim, pillage et une grande défaite.

¡Voz de clamor de Horonaim, destrucción y gran quebrantamiento!

A voice of crying shall be from Horonaim, spoiling and great destruction.

The sound of a cry from Horonaim, desolation and great destruction!

Moab est brisé, on a fait ouïr le cri de ses petits enfants.

Moab fué quebrantada; hicieron que se oyese el clamor de sus pequeños.

Moab is destroyed; her little ones have caused a cry to be heard.

Pleurs sur pleurs monteront par la montée de Luhith, car on entendra dans la descente de Horonajim ceux qui crieront à cause des plaies que les ennemis leur auront faites.

Porque á la subida de Luhith con lloro subirá el que llora; porque á la bajada de Horonaim los enemigos oyeron clamor de quebranto.

For in the going up of Luhith continual weeping shall go up; for in the going down of Horonaim the enemies have heard a cry of destruction.

For they will go up by the ascent of Luhith with continual weeping. For at the descent of Horonaim they have heard the distress of the cry of destruction.

Fuyez, dira-t-on, sauvez vos vies ; et vous serez comme de la bruyère dans un désert.

Huid, salvad vuestra vida, y sed como retama en el desierto.

Flee, save your lives, and be like the heath in the wilderness.

Flee! Save your lives! Be like the juniper bush in the wilderness.

Car parce que tu as eu confiance en tes ouvrages, et en tes trésors, tu seras prise, et Kémos sortira pour être transporté avec ses Sacrificateurs, et ses principaux.

Pues por cuanto confiaste en tus haciendas, en tus tesoros, tú también serás tomada: y Chêmos saldrá en cautiverio, los sacerdotes y sus príncipes juntamente.

For because thou hast trusted in thy works and in thy treasures, thou shalt also be taken: and Chemosh shall go forth into captivity with his priests and his princes together.

For, because you have trusted in your works and in your treasures, you also will be taken. Chemosh will go out into captivity, his priests and his princes together.

Et celui qui fait le dégât entrera dans toutes les villes, et pas une ville n’échappera ; la vallée périra, et le plat pays sera détruit, suivant ce que l’Eternel a dit ;

Y vendrá destruidor á cada una de las ciudades, y ninguna ciudad escapará: arruinaráse también el valle, y será destruída la campiña, como ha dicho Jehová.

And the spoiler shall come upon every city, and no city shall escape: the valley also shall perish, and the plain shall be destroyed, as the LORD hath spoken.

The destroyer will come on every city, and no city will escape; the valley also will perish, and the plain will be destroyed, as the LORD has spoken.

Donnez des ailes à Moab ; car certainement il s’envolera, et ses villes seront réduites en désolation, sans qu’il y ait personne qui y habite.

Dad alas á Moab, para que volando se vaya; pues serán desiertas sus ciudades hasta no quedar en ellas morador.

Give wings unto Moab, that it may flee and get away: for the cities thereof shall be desolate, without any to dwell therein.

Give wings to Moab, that she may fly and get herself away: and her cities will become a desolation, without anyone to dwell in them.

Maudit soit celui qui fera l’oeuvre de l’Eternel frauduleusement, et maudit soit celui qui gardera son épée de répandre le sang !

Maldito el que hiciere engañosamente la obra de Jehová, y maldito el que detuviere su cuchillo de la sangre.

Cursed be he that doeth the work of the LORD deceitfully, and cursed be he that keepeth back his sword from blood.

“Cursed is he who does the work of the LORD negligently; and cursed is he who keeps back his sword from blood.

Moab a été à son aise depuis sa jeunesse ; il a reposé sur sa lie ; il n’a point été vidé de vaisseau en vaisseau, et n’a point été transporté, c’est pourquoi sa saveur lui est toujours demeurée, et son odeur ne s’est point changée ;

Quieto estuvo Moab desde su mocedad, y sobre sus heces ha estado él reposado, y no fué trasegado de vaso en vaso, ni nunca fué en cautiverio: por tanto quedó su sabor en él, y su olor no se ha trocado.

Moab hath been at ease from his youth, and he hath settled on his lees, and hath not been emptied from vessel to vessel, neither hath he gone into captivity: therefore his taste remained in him, and his scent is not changed.

“Moab has been at ease from his youth, and he has settled on his dregs, and has not been emptied from vessel to vessel, neither has he gone into captivity; therefore his taste remains in him, and his scent is not changed.

Mais voici, les jours viennent, dit l’Eternel, que je lui enverrai des gens qui l’enlèveront, qui videront ses vaisseaux, et qui mettront ses outres en pièces.

Por eso, he aquí que vienen días, ha dicho Jehová, en que yo le enviaré trasportadores que lo harán trasportar; y vaciarán sus vasos, y romperán sus odres.

Therefore, behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will send unto him wanderers, that shall cause him to wander, and shall empty his vessels, and break their bottles.

Therefore behold, the days come,” says the LORD, “that I will send to him those who pour off, and they will pour him off; and they will empty his vessels, and break their containers in pieces.

Et Moab sera honteux à cause de Kémos, comme la maison d’Israël est devenue honteuse à cause de Béthel, qui était sa confiance.

Y avergonzaráse Moab de Chêmos, á la manera que la casa de Israel se avergonzó de Beth-el, su confianza.

And Moab shall be ashamed of Chemosh, as the house of Israel was ashamed of Beth-el their confidence.

Moab will be ashamed of Chemosh, as the house of Israel was ashamed of Bethel, their confidence.

Comment dites-vous : nous sommes forts et vaillants dans le combat ?

¿Cómo diréis: Somos valientes, y robustos hombres para la guerra?

How say ye, We are mighty and strong men for the war?

“How do you say, ‘We are mighty men, and valiant men for the war’?

Moab va être saccagé, et chacune de ses villes s’en va en fumée, et l’élite de ses jeunes gens va descendre pour être égorgée, dit le Roi dont le Nom est l’Eternel des armées.

Destruído fué Moab, y sus ciudades asoló, y sus escogidos mancebos descendieron al degolladero, ha dicho el Rey, cuyo nombre es Jehová de los ejércitos.

Moab is spoiled, and gone up out of her cities, and his chosen young men are gone down to the slaughter, saith the King, whose name is the LORD of hosts.

Moab is laid waste, and they have gone up into his cities, and his chosen young men have gone down to the slaughter,” says the King, whose name is the LORD of Armies.

La calamité de Moab est proche, et sa ruine s’avance à grands pas.

Cercano está el quebrantamiento de Moab para venir, y su mal se apresura mucho.

The calamity of Moab is near to come, and his affliction hasteth fast.

“The calamity of Moab is near to come, and his affliction hurries fast.

Vous tous qui êtes autour de lui, soyez-en émus à compassion, et vous tous qui connaissez son nom, dites : comment a été rompue cette forte verge, et ce sceptre d’honneur ?

Compadeceos de él todos los que estáis alrededor suyo; y todos los que sabéis su nombre, decid: ¿Cómo se quebró la vara de fortaleza, el báculo de hermosura?

All ye that are about him, bemoan him; and all ye that know his name, say, How is the strong staff broken, and the beautiful rod!

All you who are around him, bemoan him; and all you who know his name, say, ‘How the strong staff is broken, the beautiful rod!’

Toi qui te tiens chez la fille de Dibon, descends de ta gloire, et t’assieds dans un lieu de sécheresse ; car celui qui a saccagé Moab est monté contre toi, et a détruit tes forteresses.

Desciende de la gloria, siéntate en seco, moradora hija de Dibón; porque el destruidor de Moab subió contra ti, disipó tus fortalezas.

Thou daughter that dost inhabit Dibon, come down from thy glory, and sit in thirst; for the spoiler of Moab shall come upon thee, and he shall destroy thy strong holds.

“You daughter who dwells in Dibon, come down from your glory, and sit in thirst; for the destroyer of Moab has come up against you. He has destroyed your strongholds.

Habitante d’Haroher, tiens-toi sur le chemin, et contemple ; interroge celui qui s’enfuit, et celle qui est échappée, et dis : qu’est-il arrivé ?

Párate en el camino, y mira, oh moradora de Aroer: pregunta á la que va huyendo, y á la que escapó; dile: ¿Qué ha acontecido?

O inhabitant of Aroer, stand by the way, and espy; ask him that fleeth, and her that escapeth, and say, What is done?

Inhabitant of Aroer, stand by the way and watch. Ask him who flees, and her who escapes; say, ‘What has been done?’

Moab est rendu honteux ; car il a été mis en pièces ; hurlez et criez, rapportez dans Arnon que Moab a été saccagé ;

Avergonzóse Moab, porque fué quebrantado: aullad y clamad: denunciad en Arnón que Moab es destruído.

Moab is confounded; for it is broken down: howl and cry; tell ye it in Arnon, that Moab is spoiled,

Moab is disappointed; for it is broken down. Wail and cry! Tell it by the Arnon, that Moab is laid waste.

Et que le jugement est venu sur le plat pays, sur Holon, et sur Jathsa, et sur Mephahat,

Y que vino juicio sobre la tierra de la campiña; sobre Holón, y sobre Jahzah, y sobre Mephaath,

And judgment is come upon the plain country; upon Holon, and upon Jahazah, and upon Mephaath,

Judgment has come on the plain country— on Holon, on Jahzah, on Mephaath,

Et sur Dibon, et sur Nebo, et sur Bethdiblathajim,

Y sobre Dibón, y sobre Nebo, y sobre Beth-diblathaim,

on Kiriathaim, on Beth Gamul, on Beth Meon,

Et sur Kérijoth, et sur Botsra, et sur toutes les villes du pays de Moab éloignées et proches.

Y sobre Chêrioth, y sobre Bosra, y sobre todas las ciudades de tierra de Moab, las de lejos y las de cerca.

And upon Kerioth, and upon Bozrah, and upon all the cities of the land of Moab, far or near.

La force de Moab a été rompue, et son bras a été cassé, dit l’Eternel.

Cortado es el cuerno de Moab, y su brazo quebrantado, dice Jehová.

The horn of Moab is cut off, and his arm is broken, saith the LORD.

Enivrez-le, car il s’est élevé contre l’Eternel. Moab se vautrera dans le vin qu’il aura rendu et il deviendra aussi un sujet de moquerie.

Embriagadlo, porque contra Jehová se engrandeció; y revuélquese Moab sobre su vómito, y sea también él por escarnio.

Make ye him drunken: for he magnified himself against the LORD: Moab also shall wallow in his vomit, and he also shall be in derision.

“Make him drunk, for he magnified himself against the LORD. Moab will wallow in his vomit, and he also will be in derision.

Car, ô Moab ! Israël ne t’a-t-il pas été en dérision, comme un homme qui aurait été surpris entre les larrons ? chaque fois que tu as parlé de lui, tu en as tressailli de joie.

¿Y no te fué á ti Israel por escarnio, como si lo tomaran entre ladrones? porque desde que de él hablaste, tú te has movido.

For was not Israel a derision unto thee? was he found among thieves? for since thou spakest of him, thou skippedst for joy.

For wasn’t Israel a derision to you? Was he found among thieves? For as often as you speak of him, you shake your head.

Habitants de Moab quittez les villes, et demeurez dans les rochers, et soyez comme le pigeon qui fait son nid aux côtés de l’entrée des cavernes.

Desamparad las ciudades, y habitad en peñascos, oh moradores de Moab; y sed como la paloma que hace nido detrás de la boca de la caverna.

O ye that dwell in Moab, leave the cities, and dwell in the rock, and be like the dove that maketh her nest in the sides of the hole’s mouth.

You inhabitants of Moab, leave the cities, and dwell in the rock. Be like the dove that makes her nest over the mouth of the abyss.

Nous avons appris l’orgueil de Moab le très-superbe, son arrogance et son orgueil, et sa fierté, et son coeur altier.

Oído hemos la soberbia de Moab, que es muy soberbio: su hinchazón y su orgullo, y su altivez y la altanería de su corazón.

We have heard the pride of Moab, (he is exceeding proud) his loftiness, and his arrogancy, and his pride, and the haughtiness of his heart.

“We have heard of the pride of Moab. He is very proud in his loftiness, his pride, his arrogance, and the arrogance of his heart.

J’ai connu sa fureur, dit l’Eternel ; mais il n’en sera pas ainsi ; j’ai connu ceux sur lesquels il s’appuie ; ils n’ont rien fait de droit.

Yo conozco, dice Jehová, su cólera; mas no tendrá efecto: sus mentiras no han de aprovecharle.

I know his wrath, saith the LORD; but it shall not be so; his lies shall not so effect it.

I know his wrath,” says the LORD, “that it is nothing; his boastings have done nothing.

Je hurlerai donc à cause de Moab, même je crierai à cause de Moab tout entier ; on gémira sur ceux de Kir-hérès.

Por tanto yo aullaré sobre Moab, y sobre todo Moab haré clamor, y sobre los hombres de Kir-heres gemiré.

Therefore will I howl for Moab, and I will cry out for all Moab; mine heart shall mourn for the men of Kir-heres.

Therefore I will wail for Moab. Yes, I will cry out for all Moab. They will mourn for the men of Kir Heres.

Ô vignoble de Sibmah je pleurerai sur toi du pleur de Jahzer ; tes provins ont passé au delà de la mer, ils ont atteint jusqu’à la mer de Jahzer ; celui qui fait le dégât s’est jeté sur tes fruits d’Eté, et sur ta vendange.

Con lloro de Jazer lloraré por ti, oh vid de Sibma: tus sarmientos pasaron la mar, llegaron hasta la mar de Jazer: sobre tu agosto y sobre tu vendimia vino destruidor.

O vine of Sibmah, I will weep for thee with the weeping of Jazer: thy plants are gone over the sea, they reach even to the sea of Jazer: the spoiler is fallen upon thy summer fruits and upon thy vintage.

With more than the weeping of Jazer I will weep for you, vine of Sibmah. Your branches passed over the sea. They reached even to the sea of Jazer. The destroyer has fallen on your summer fruits and on your vintage.

L’allégresse aussi, et la gaieté s’est retirée loin du champ fertile, et du pays de Moab, et j’ai fait cesser le vin des cuves ; on n’y foulera plus en chantant, et la chanson de la vendange n’y sera plus chantée.

Y será cortada la alegría y el regocijo de los campos labrados, y de la tierra de Moab: y haré cesar el vino de los lagares: no pisarán con canción; la canción no será canción.

And joy and gladness is taken from the plentiful field, and from the land of Moab; and I have caused wine to fail from the winepresses: none shall tread with shouting; their shouting shall be no shouting.

Gladness and joy is taken away from the fruitful field and from the land of Moab. I have caused wine to cease from the wine presses. No one will tread with shouting. The shouting will be no shouting.

A cause du cri de Hesbon qui est parvenu jusqu’à Elhalé, ils ont jeté leurs cris jusqu’à Jahats ; même depuis Tsohar jusqu’à Horonajim, comme une génisse de trois ans ; car aussi les eaux de Nimrim seront réduites en désolation.

El clamor, desde Hesbón hasta Eleale; hasta Jaaz dieron su voz: desde Zoar hasta Horonaim, becerra de tres años: porque también las aguas de Nimrin serán destruídas.

From the cry of Heshbon even unto Elealeh, and even unto Jahaz, have they uttered their voice, from Zoar even unto Horonaim, as an heifer of three years old: for the waters also of Nimrim shall be desolate.

From the cry of Heshbon even to Elealeh, even to Jahaz they have uttered their voice, from Zoar even to Horonaim, to Eglath Shelishiyah; for the waters of Nimrim will also become desolate.

Et je ferai qu’il n’y aura plus en Moab, dit l’Eternel, aucun qui offre sur les hauts lieux, ni aucun qui fasse des encensements à ses dieux.

Y haré cesar de Moab, dice Jehová, quien sacrifique en altar, y quien ofrezca sahumerio á sus dioses.

Moreover I will cause to cease in Moab, saith the LORD, him that offereth in the high places, and him that burneth incense to his gods.

C’est pourquoi mon coeur mènera un bruit sur Moab comme des flûtes ; mon coeur mènera un bruit comme des flûtes sur ceux de Kir-hérès, parce que toute l’abondance de ce qu’il a acquis est périe.

Por tanto, mi corazón resonará como flautas por causa de Moab, asimismo resonará mi corazón á modo de flautas por los hombres de Kir-heres: porque perecieron las riquezas que había hecho.

Therefore mine heart shall sound for Moab like pipes, and mine heart shall sound like pipes for the men of Kir-heres: because the riches that he hath gotten are perished.

Therefore my heart sounds for Moab like flutes, and my heart sounds like flutes for the men of Kir Heres. Therefore the abundance that he has gotten has perished.

Car toute tête sera chauve, et toute barbe sera rasée ; et il y aura des incisions sur toutes les mains, et le sac sera sur les reins.

Porque en toda cabeza habrá calva, y toda barba será raída; sobre todas manos rasguños, y sacos sobre todos los lomos.

For every head shall be bald, and every beard clipped: upon all the hands shall be cuttings, and upon the loins sackcloth.

For every head is bald, and every beard clipped. There are cuttings on all the hands, and sackcloth on the waist.

Il y aura des lamentations sur tous les toits de Moab, et dans ses places, parce que j’aurai brisé Moab comme un vaisseau auquel on ne prend nul plaisir, dit l’Eternel.

Sobre todas las techumbres de Moab y en sus calles, todo él será llanto; porque yo quebranté á Moab como á vaso que no agrada, dice Jehová.

There shall be lamentation generally upon all the housetops of Moab, and in the streets thereof: for I have broken Moab like a vessel wherein is no pleasure, saith the LORD.

On all the housetops of Moab, and in its streets, there is lamentation everywhere; for I have broken Moab like a vessel in which no one delights,” says the LORD.

Hurlez, en disant : comment a-t-il été mis en pièces ? Comment Moab a-t-il tourné le dos tout honteux ? car Moab sera un objet de moquerie et de frayeur à tous ceux qui sont autour de lui.

Aullad: ¡Cómo ha sido quebrantado! ¡cómo volvió la cerviz Moab, y fué avergonzado! Y fué Moab en escarnio y en espanto á todos los que están en sus alrededores.

They shall howl, saying, How is it broken down! how hath Moab turned the back with shame! so shall Moab be a derision and a dismaying to all them about him.

“How it is broken down! How they wail! How Moab has turned the back with shame! So will Moab become a derision and a terror to all who are around him.”

Car ainsi a dit l’Eternel : voici il volera comme un aigle, et il étendra ses ailes sur Moab.

Porque así ha dicho Jehová: He aquí que como águila volará, y extenderá sus alas á Moab.

For thus saith the LORD; Behold, he shall fly as an eagle, and shall spread his wings over Moab.

For the LORD says: “Behold, he will fly as an eagle, and will spread out his wings against Moab.

Kérijoth a été prise, et on s’est saisi des forteresses, et le coeur des hommes forts de Moab sera en ce jour-là comme le coeur d’une femme qui est en travail.

Tomadas son las ciudades, y tomadas son las fortalezas; y será aquel día el corazón de los valientes de Moab como el corazón de mujer en angustias.

Kerioth is taken, and the strong holds are surprised, and the mighty men’s hearts in Moab at that day shall be as the heart of a woman in her pangs.

Kerioth is taken, and the strongholds are seized. The heart of the mighty men of Moab at that day will be as the heart of a woman in her pangs.

Et Moab sera exterminé, tellement qu’il ne sera plus peuple, parce qu’il s’est élevé contre l’Eternel.

Y Moab será destruído para dejar de ser pueblo: porque se engrandeció contra Jehová.

And Moab shall be destroyed from being a people, because he hath magnified himself against the LORD.

Moab will be destroyed from being a people, because he has magnified himself against the LORD.

Habitant de Moab, la frayeur, la fosse, et le filet sont sur toi, dit l’Eternel.

Miedo y hoyo y lazo sobre ti, oh morador de Moab, dice Jehová.

Fear, and the pit, and the snare, shall be upon thee, O inhabitant of Moab, saith the LORD.

Terror, the pit, and the snare are on you, inhabitant of Moab,” says the LORD.

Celui qui s’enfuira à cause de la frayeur, tombera dans la fosse ; et celui qui remontera de la fosse, sera pris au filet ; car je ferai venir sur lui, c’est-à-savoir sur Moab, l’année de leur punition, dit l’Eternel.

El que huyere del miedo, caerá en el hoyo; y el que saliere del hoyo, será preso del lazo: porque yo traeré sobre él, sobre Moab, año de su visitación, dice Jehová.

He that fleeth from the fear shall fall into the pit; and he that getteth up out of the pit shall be taken in the snare: for I will bring upon it, even upon Moab, the year of their visitation, saith the LORD.

“He who flees from the terror will fall into the pit; and he who gets up out of the pit will be taken in the snare, for I will bring on him, even on Moab, the year of their visitation,” says the LORD.

Ils se sont arrêtés en l’ombre de Hesbon, voulant éviter la force ; mais le feu est sorti de Hesbon, et la flamme du milieu de Sihon, qui dévorera un canton de Moab, et le sommet de la tête des gens bruyants.

A la sombra de Hesbón se pararon los que huían de la fuerza; mas salió fuego de Hesbón, y llama de en medio de Sihón, y quemó el rincón de Moab, y la mollera de los hijos revoltosos.

They that fled stood under the shadow of Heshbon because of the force: but a fire shall come forth out of Heshbon, and a flame from the midst of Sihon, and shall devour the corner of Moab, and the crown of the head of the tumultuous ones.

“Those who fled stand without strength under the shadow of Heshbon; for a fire has gone out of Heshbon, and a flame from the middle of Sihon, and has devoured the corner of Moab, and the crown of the head of the tumultuous ones.

Malheur à toi, Moab ! le peuple de Kémos est perdu ; car tes fils ont été enlevés pour être emmenés captifs, et tes filles pour être emmenées captives.

¡Ay de ti, Moab! pereció el pueblo de Chêmos: porque tus hijos fueron presos para cautividad, y tus hijas para cautiverio.

Woe be unto thee, O Moab! the people of Chemosh perisheth: for thy sons are taken captives, and thy daughters captives.

Woe to you, O Moab! The people of Chemosh are undone; for your sons are taken away captive, and your daughters into captivity.

Toutefois je ramènerai et mettrai en repos les captifs de Moab, aux derniers jours, dit l’Eternel. Jusqu’ici est le jugement de Moab.

Empero haré tornar el cautiverio de Moab en lo postrero de los tiempos, dice Jehová. Hasta aquí es el juicio de Moab.
