Jeremías 49

Über die Ammoniter: So hat der HERR gesprochen: »Hat denn Israel keine Söhne mehr, oder hat es keinen Erben? Wie kommt es, daß Milkom die Erbschaft in Gad angetreten und sein Volk in den dortigen Städten Wohnung genommen hat?

DE los hijos de Ammón. Así ha dicho Jehová: ¿No tiene hijos Israel? ¿No tiene heredero? ¿Por qué tomó como por heredad el rey de ellos á Gad, y su pueblo habitó en sus ciudades?

Concerning the Ammonites, thus saith the LORD; Hath Israel no sons? hath he no heir? why then doth their king inherit Gad, and his people dwell in his cities?

Of the children of Ammon. The LORD says: “Has Israel no sons? Has he no heir? Why then does Malcam possess Gad, and his people dwell in its cities?

Darum wisset wohl: es kommt die Zeit« – so lautet der Ausspruch des HERRN –, »da lasse ich gegen die Ammoniterstadt Rabba Kriegsgeschrei erschallen; sie soll dann zum Schutthaufen werden, und ihre Tochterstädte sollen in Flammen aufgehen: da soll dann Israel seine Erben wieder beerben!« – so lautet der Ausspruch des HERRN.

Por tanto, he aquí vienen días, ha dicho Jehová, en que haré oir en Rabba de los hijos de Ammón clamor de guerra; y será puesta en montón de asolamiento, y sus ciudades serán puestas á fuego, é Israel tomará por heredad á los que los tomaron á ellos, ha dicho Jehová.

Therefore, behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will cause an alarm of war to be heard in Rabbah of the Ammonites; and it shall be a desolate heap, and her daughters shall be burned with fire: then shall Israel be heir unto them that were his heirs, saith the LORD.

Therefore behold, the days come,” says the LORD, “that I will cause an alarm of war to be heard against Rabbah of the children of Ammon, and it will become a desolate heap, and her daughters will be burned with fire; then Israel will possess those who possessed him,” says the LORD.

Erhebe Wehgeschrei, Hesbon, denn Ai ist zerstört! Jammert, ihr Tochterstädte Rabbas, umgürtet euch mit Sackleinen, wehklagt und lauft in den Hürden hin und her! Denn Milkom muß in die Gefangenschaft wandern, seine Priester und Oberen allzumal!

Aulla, oh Hesbón, porque destruída es Hai; clamad, hijas de Rabba, vestíos de sacos, endechad, y rodead por los vallados, porque el rey de ellos fué en cautiverio, sus sacerdotes y sus príncipes juntamente.

Howl, O Heshbon, for Ai is spoiled: cry, ye daughters of Rabbah, gird you with sackcloth; lament, and run to and fro by the hedges; for their king shall go into captivity, and his priests and his princes together.

“Wail, Heshbon, for Ai is laid waste! Cry, you daughters of Rabbah! Clothe yourself in sackcloth. Lament, and run back and forth among the fences; for Malcam will go into captivity, his priests and his princes together.

Was prahlst du mit deinen Tälern? Dein Tal ist überströmt, du abtrünnige Tochter, die im Vertrauen auf ihre Schätze sich rühmt: »Wer sollte an mich herankommen?«

¿Por qué te glorías de los valles? Tu valle se deshizo, oh hija contumaz, la que confía en sus tesoros, la que dice: ¿Quién vendrá contra mí?

Wherefore gloriest thou in the valleys, thy flowing valley, O backsliding daughter? that trusted in her treasures, saying, Who shall come unto me?

Why do you boast in the valleys, your flowing valley, backsliding daughter? You trusted in her treasures, saying, ‘Who will come to me?’

»Wisse wohl: ich will Schrecken über dich hereinbrechen lassen von allen Seiten ringsum!« – so lautet der Ausspruch Gottes, des HERRN der Heerscharen –; »und ihr sollt weggetrieben werden, ein jeder, ohne daß er sich umzublicken vermag, und niemand soll die Flüchtigen wieder sammeln!

He aquí yo traigo sobre ti espanto, dice el Señor Jehová de los ejércitos, de todos tus alrededores; y seréis lanzados cada uno en derechura de su rostro, y no habrá quien recoja al errante.

Behold, I will bring a fear upon thee, saith the Lord GOD of hosts, from all those that be about thee; and ye shall be driven out every man right forth; and none shall gather up him that wandereth.

Behold, I will bring a terror on you,” says the Lord, GOD of Armies, “from all who are around you. All of you will be driven completely out, and there will be no one to gather together the fugitives.

Doch nachmals will ich das Geschick der Ammoniter wieder wenden!« – so lautet der Ausspruch des HERRN.

Y después de esto haré tornar la cautividad de los hijos de Ammón, dice Jehová.

And afterward I will bring again the captivity of the children of Ammon, saith the LORD.

“But afterward I will reverse the captivity of the children of Ammon,” says the LORD.

Über Edom: So hat der HERR der Heerscharen gesprochen: »Gibt’s denn keine Weisheit mehr in Theman? Ist denn den Verständigen die Klugheit abhanden gekommen und ihnen die Weisheit ausgegangen?

De Edom. Así ha dicho Jehová de los ejércitos: ¿No hay más sabiduría en Temán? ¿ha perecido el consejo en los sabios? ¿corrompióse su sabiduría?

Concerning Edom, thus saith the LORD of hosts; Is wisdom no more in Teman? is counsel perished from the prudent? is their wisdom vanished?

Of Edom, the LORD of Armies says: “Is wisdom no more in Teman? Has counsel perished from the prudent? Has their wisdom vanished?

Fliehet, macht euch davon, verkriecht euch in tiefe Verstecke, ihr Bewohner Dedans! Denn den Untergang lasse ich über Esau hereinbrechen, die Zeit, wo ich mit ihm abrechne.

Huid, volveos, escondeos en simas para estar, oh moradores de Dedán; porque el quebrantamiento de Esaú traeré sobre él, al tiempo que lo tengo de visitar.

Flee ye, turn back, dwell deep, O inhabitants of Dedan; for I will bring the calamity of Esau upon him, the time that I will visit him.

Flee! Turn back! Dwell in the depths, inhabitants of Dedan; for I will bring the calamity of Esau on him when I visit him.

Wenn Weingärtner bei dir einbrechen, lassen sie da nicht eine Nachlese übrig? Wenn Diebe in der Nacht (kommen), rauben sie doch nur so viel, bis sie genug haben.

Si vendimiadores vinieran contra ti, ¿no dejarán rebuscos? Si ladrones de noche, tomarán lo que hubieren menester.

If grapegatherers come to thee, would they not leave some gleaning grapes? if thieves by night, they will destroy till they have enough.

If grape gatherers came to you, would they not leave some gleaning grapes? If thieves came by night, wouldn’t they steal until they had enough?

Doch ich selbst durchsuche Esau und decke seine Schlupfwinkel auf; und will er sich verstecken, so kann er es nicht: vernichtet wird seine Nachkommenschaft samt seinen Bruderstämmen und seinen Nachbarn, so daß nichts mehr von ihm vorhanden ist.

Mas yo desnudaré á Esaú, descubriré sus escondrijos, y no podrá esconderse: será destruída su simiente, y sus hermanos, y sus vecinos; y no será.

But I have made Esau bare, I have uncovered his secret places, and he shall not be able to hide himself: his seed is spoiled, and his brethren, and his neighbours, and he is not.

But I have made Esau bare, I have uncovered his secret places, and he will not be able to hide himself. His offspring is destroyed, with his brothers and his neighbors; and he is no more.

Überlaß mir deine Waisen: ich will sie am Leben erhalten, und deine Witwen mögen auf mich vertrauen!«

Deja tus huérfanos, yo los criaré; y en mí se confiarán tus viudas.

Leave thy fatherless children, I will preserve them alive; and let thy widows trust in me.

Leave your fatherless children. I will preserve them alive. Let your widows trust in me.”

Denn so hat der HERR gesprochen: »Fürwahr, solche, die es nicht verdienten, den Becher zu trinken, haben ihn trinken müssen, und du solltest frei ausgehen? Nein, du sollst nicht ungestraft bleiben, sondern mußt unweigerlich trinken!

Porque así ha dicho Jehová: He aquí que los que no estaban condenados á beber del cáliz, beberán ciertamente; ¿y serás tú absuelto del todo? No serás absuelto, sino que de cierto beberás.

For thus saith the LORD; Behold, they whose judgment was not to drink of the cup have assuredly drunken; and art thou he that shall altogether go unpunished? thou shalt not go unpunished, but thou shalt surely drink of it.

For the LORD says: “Behold, they to whom it didn’t pertain to drink of the cup will certainly drink; and are you he who will altogether go unpunished? You won’t go unpunished, but you will surely drink.

Denn ich habe bei mir selbst geschworen« – so lautet der Ausspruch des HERRN –: »Bozra soll zum abschreckenden Beispiel, zum Gespött, zur Wüste und zum Fluchwort werden und alle zugehörigen Ortschaften zu Einöden auf ewig!« –

Porque por mí he jurado, dice Jehová, que en asolamiento, en oprobio, en soledad, y en maldición, será Bosra; y todas sus ciudades serán en asolamientos perpetuos.

For I have sworn by myself, saith the LORD, that Bozrah shall become a desolation, a reproach, a waste, and a curse; and all the cities thereof shall be perpetual wastes.

For I have sworn by myself,” says the LORD, “that Bozrah will become an astonishment, a reproach, a waste, and a curse. All its cities will be perpetual wastes.”

Eine Kunde habe ich vom HERRN her vernommen, und eine Botschaft ist unter die Völker gesandt worden: »Versammelt euch und zieht gegen Edom heran und macht euch auf zum Kampf!«

La fama oí, que de Jehová había sido enviado mensajero á las gentes, diciendo: Juntaos, y venid contra ella, y levantaos á la batalla.

I have heard a rumour from the LORD, and an ambassador is sent unto the heathen, saying, Gather ye together, and come against her, and rise up to the battle.

I have heard news from the LORD, and an ambassador is sent among the nations, saying, “Gather yourselves together! Come against her! Rise up to the battle!”

Denn wisse wohl: klein mache ich dich unter den Völkern, verachtet unter den Menschen deine Furchtbarkeit!

Porque he aquí que pequeño te he puesto entre las gentes, menospreciado entre los hombres.

For, lo, I will make thee small among the heathen, and despised among men.

“For, behold, I have made you small among the nations, and despised among men.

Betört hat dich dein vermessener Sinn, weil du in Felsenklüften wohnst und Bergeshöhen besetzt hältst. »Wenn du auch dein Nest so hoch anlegst wie der Adler: ich stürze dich doch von dort hinab!« – so lautet der Ausspruch des HERRN.

Tu arrogancia te engañó, y la soberbia de tu corazón, tú que habitas en cavernas de peñas, que tienes la altura del monte: aunque alces como águila tu nido, de allí te haré descender, dice Jehová.

Thy terribleness hath deceived thee, and the pride of thine heart, O thou that dwellest in the clefts of the rock, that holdest the height of the hill: though thou shouldest make thy nest as high as the eagle, I will bring thee down from thence, saith the LORD.

As for your terror, the pride of your heart has deceived you, O you who dwell in the clefts of the rock, who hold the height of the hill, though you should make your nest as high as the eagle, I will bring you down from there,” says the LORD.

»Und Edom soll zum Gegenstand des Erstarrens werden: jeder, der an ihm vorüberwandert, soll sich entsetzen und über alle seine Leiden zischen!

Y será Edom en asolamiento: todo aquel que pasare por ella se espantará, y silbará sobre todas sus plagas.

Also Edom shall be a desolation: every one that goeth by it shall be astonished, and shall hiss at all the plagues thereof.

“Edom will become an astonishment. Everyone who passes by it will be astonished, and will hiss at all its plagues.

Wie Sodom und Gomorrha und ihre Nachbarstädte einst von Grund aus zerstört worden sind« – so lautet der Ausspruch des HERRN –, »ebenso soll auch dort niemand mehr wohnen und kein Menschenkind sich darin aufhalten.

Como el trastornamiento de Sodoma y de Gomorra, y de sus ciudades vecinas, dice Jehová, no morará allí nadie, ni la habitará hijo de hombre.

As in the overthrow of Sodom and Gomorrah and the neighbour cities thereof, saith the LORD, no man shall abide there, neither shall a son of man dwell in it.

As in the overthrow of Sodom and Gomorrah and its neighbor cities,” says the LORD, “no man will dwell there, neither will any son of man live therein.

Fürwahr, wie ein Löwe aus dem Dickicht des Jordans zu der immergrünen Aue hinaufsteigt, so will ich Edom im Nu von dort vertreiben, und wer dazu ausersehen ist, den werde ich zum Herrn dort einsetzen. Denn wer ist mir gleich, und wer will mich zur Rechenschaft ziehen? Und wo wäre ein Völkerhirt, der es mit mir aufnehmen könnte?« –

He aquí que como león subirá de la hinchazón del Jordán contra la bella y robusta; porque muy pronto harélo correr de sobre ella, y al que fuere escogido la encargaré; porque ¿quién es semejante á mí? ¿y quién me emplazará? ¿y quién será aquel pastor que me podrá resistir?

Behold, he shall come up like a lion from the swelling of Jordan against the habitation of the strong: but I will suddenly make him run away from her: and who is a chosen man, that I may appoint over her? for who is like me? and who will appoint me the time? and who is that shepherd that will stand before me?

“Behold, he will come up like a lion from the pride of the Jordan against the strong habitation; for I will suddenly make them run away from it, and whoever is chosen, I will appoint him over it. For who is like me? Who will appoint me a time? Who is the shepherd who will stand before me?”

Darum vernehmt den Ratschluß, den der HERR über Edom gefaßt hat, und die Absichten, mit denen er sich gegen die Bewohner von Theman trägt: Fürwahr, die Hirtenbuben werden sie wegschleppen! Fürwahr, ihre eigene Trift wird sich über sie entsetzen!

Por tanto, oid el consejo de Jehová, que ha acordado sobre Edom; y sus pensamientos, que ha resuelto sobre los moradores de Temán. Ciertamente los más pequeños del hato los arrastrarán, y destruirán sus moradas con ellos.

Therefore hear the counsel of the LORD, that he hath taken against Edom; and his purposes, that he hath purposed against the inhabitants of Teman: Surely the least of the flock shall draw them out: surely he shall make their habitations desolate with them.

Therefore hear the counsel of the LORD, that he has taken against Edom, and his purposes that he has purposed against the inhabitants of Teman: Surely they will drag them away, the little ones of the flock. Surely he will make their habitation desolate over them.

Vom Gedröhn ihres Sturzes erbebt die Erde; ihr Wehgeschrei – am Schilfmeer wird sein Schall vernommen!

Del estruendo de la caída de ellos la tierra tembló, y el grito de su voz se oyó en el mar Bermejo.

The earth is moved at the noise of their fall, at the cry the noise thereof was heard in the Red sea.

The earth trembles at the noise of their fall; there is a cry, the noise which is heard in the Red Sea.

Seht, einem Adler gleich steigt (der Feind) herauf und fliegt daher und breitet seine Schwingen über Bozra aus; da wird den edomitischen Kriegern an jenem Tage zumute sein wie einem Weibe in Kindesnöten.

He aquí que como águila subirá y volará, y extenderá sus alas sobre Bosra: y el corazón de los valientes de Edom será en aquel día como el corazón de mujer en angustias.

Behold, he shall come up and fly as the eagle, and spread his wings over Bozrah: and at that day shall the heart of the mighty men of Edom be as the heart of a woman in her pangs.

Behold, he will come up and fly as the eagle, and spread out his wings against Bozrah. The heart of the mighty men of Edom at that day will be as the heart of a woman in her pangs.

Über Damaskus: Enttäuscht sind Hamath und Arpad, denn eine schlimme Kunde haben sie vernommen; sie sind verzagt, in ängstlicher Erregung wie das Meer, das nicht zur Ruhe kommen kann.

Acerca de Damasco. Confundióse Hamath, y Arphad, porque oyeron malas nuevas: derritiéronse en aguas de desmayo, no pueden sosegarse.

Concerning Damascus. Hamath is confounded, and Arpad: for they have heard evil tidings: they are fainthearted; there is sorrow on the sea; it cannot be quiet.

Of Damascus: “Hamath and Arpad are confounded, for they have heard evil news. They have melted away. There is sorrow on the sea. It can’t be quiet.

Damaskus ist mutlos geworden, hat sich zur Flucht gewandt, und Zittern hat es ergriffen; Angst und Krämpfe haben es erfaßt wie ein Weib in Kindesnöten.

Desmayóse Damasco, volvióse para huir, y tomóle temblor: angustia y dolores le tomaron, como de mujer que está de parto.

Damascus is waxed feeble, and turneth herself to flee, and fear hath seized on her: anguish and sorrows have taken her, as a woman in travail.

Damascus has grown feeble, she turns herself to flee, and trembling has seized her. Anguish and sorrows have taken hold of her, as of a woman in travail.

Wie ist sie doch so ganz verlassen, die ruhmreiche Stadt, die Burg meiner Wonne!

¡Cómo dejaron á la ciudad de alabanza, ciudad de mi gozo!

How is the city of praise not left, the city of my joy!

How is the city of praise not forsaken, the city of my joy?

»Darum werden ihre jungen Männer auf ihren Straßen fallen und alle kriegstüchtigen Männer an jenem Tage umkommen!« – so lautet der Ausspruch des HERRN der Heerscharen –;

Por tanto, sus mancebos caerán en sus plazas, y todos los hombres de guerra morirán en aquel día, ha dicho Jehová de los ejércitos.

Therefore her young men shall fall in her streets, and all the men of war shall be cut off in that day, saith the LORD of hosts.

»und ich werde Feuer an die Mauern von Damaskus legen, das die Paläste Benhadads verzehren soll!«

Y haré encender fuego en el muro de Damasco, y consumirá las casas de Ben-hadad.

And I will kindle a fire in the wall of Damascus, and it shall consume the palaces of Ben-hadad.

“I will kindle a fire in the wall of Damascus, and it will devour the palaces of Ben Hadad.”

Über Kedar und über die Königreiche von Hazor, die Nebukadnezar, der König von Babylon, besiegte, hat der HERR so gesprochen: »Auf! Zieht gegen Kedar zu Felde und überwältigt die Söhne des Ostens!

De Cedar y de los reinos de Hasor, los cuales hirió Nabucodonosor rey de Babilonia. Así ha dicho Jehová: Levantaos, subid contra Cedar, y destruid los hijos de oriente.

Concerning Kedar, and concerning the kingdoms of Hazor, which Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon shall smite, thus saith the LORD; Arise ye, go up to Kedar, and spoil the men of the east.

Of Kedar, and of the kingdoms of Hazor, which Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon struck, The LORD says: “Arise, go up to Kedar, and destroy the children of the east.

Ihre Zelte und ihre Herden raube man ihnen, ihre Zeltbehänge und ihren gesamten Hausrat, auch ihre Kamele nehme man ihnen weg und rufe über sie aus: ›Grauen ringsum!‹

Sus tiendas y sus ganados tomarán: sus cortinas, y todos sus vasos, y sus camellos, tomarán para sí; y llamarán contra ellos miedo alrededor.

Their tents and their flocks shall they take away: they shall take to themselves their curtains, and all their vessels, and their camels; and they shall cry unto them, Fear is on every side.

They will take their tents and their flocks. they will carry away for themselves their curtains, all their vessels, and their camels; and they will cry to them, ‘Terror on every side!’

Fliehet, macht euch eilends davon, verkriecht euch in tiefe Verstecke, ihr Bewohner von Hazor!« – so lautet der Ausspruch des HERRN –; »denn Nebukadnezar, der König von Babylon, hat es auf euch abgesehen und einen Anschlag gegen euch ersonnen.

Huid, trasponeos muy lejos, meteos en simas para estar, oh moradores de Hasor, dice Jehová; porque tomó consejo contra vosotros Nabucodonosor rey de Babilonia, y contra vosotros ha formado designio.

Flee, get you far off, dwell deep, O ye inhabitants of Hazor, saith the LORD; for Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon hath taken counsel against you, and hath conceived a purpose against you.

Flee! Wander far off! Dwell in the depths, you inhabitants of Hazor,” says the LORD; “for Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon has taken counsel against you, and has conceived a purpose against you.

Auf! Zieht zu Felde gegen das sorglose Volk, das in Sicherheit lebt!« – so lautet der Ausspruch des HERRN –, »das weder Tore noch Riegel hat: für sich allein wohnen sie.

Levantaos, subid á gente pacífica, que vive confiadamente, dice Jehová, que ni tienen puertas ni cerrojos, que viven solitarios.

Arise, get you up unto the wealthy nation, that dwelleth without care, saith the LORD, which have neither gates nor bars, which dwell alone.

Arise! Go up to a nation that is at ease, that dwells without care,” says the LORD; “that has neither gates nor bars, that dwells alone.

Ihre Kamele sollen zur Beute und ihre vielen Herden zum Raube werden; und ich will sie, die sich das Haupthaar an der Schläfe stutzen, in alle Winde zerstreuen und von allen Seiten her Verderben über sie hereinbrechen lassen!« – so lautet der Ausspruch des HERRN.

Y serán sus camellos por presa, y la multitud de sus ganados por despojo; y esparcirélos por todos vientos, echados hasta el postrer rincón; y de todos sus lados les traeré su ruina, dice Jehová.

And their camels shall be a booty, and the multitude of their cattle a spoil: and I will scatter into all winds them that are in the utmost corners; and I will bring their calamity from all sides thereof, saith the LORD.

Their camels will be a booty, and the multitude of their livestock a plunder. I will scatter to all winds those who have the corners of their beards cut off; and I will bring their calamity from every side of them,” says the LORD.

»Da wird dann Hazor eine Behausung für Schakale werden, eine Einöde für ewige Zeiten; niemand wird mehr dort wohnen und kein Menschenkind sich darin aufhalten!«

Y Hasor será morada de chacales, soledad para siempre: ninguno morará allí, ni la habitará hijo de hombre.

And Hazor shall be a dwelling for dragons, and a desolation for ever: there shall no man abide there, nor any son of man dwell in it.

Hazor will be a dwelling place of jackals, a desolation forever. No man will dwell there, neither will any son of man live therein.”

Das Wort, das über Elam an den Propheten Jeremia im Anfang der Regierung des judäischen Königs Zedekia erging, lautet folgendermaßen:

So hat der HERR der Heerscharen gesprochen: »Fürwahr, ich zerbreche den Bogen Elams, den Hauptteil seiner Kraft,

Así ha dicho Jehová de los ejércitos: He aquí que yo quiebro el arco de Elam, principio de su fortaleza.

Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Behold, I will break the bow of Elam, the chief of their might.

“The LORD of Armies says: ‘Behold, I will break the bow of Elam, the chief of their might.

und lasse die vier Winde von den vier Enden des Himmels über die Elamiter hereinbrechen und zerstreue sie nach allen diesen Windrichtungen hin, so daß es kein Volk geben soll, zu dem nicht elamitische Flüchtlinge gelangen werden!

Y traeré sobre Elam los cuatro vientos de los cuatro puntos del cielo, y aventarélos á todos estos vientos; ni habrá gente adonde no vengan extranjeros de Elam.

And upon Elam will I bring the four winds from the four quarters of heaven, and will scatter them toward all those winds; and there shall be no nation whither the outcasts of Elam shall not come.

I will bring on Elam the four winds from the four quarters of the sky, and will scatter them toward all those winds. There will be no nation where the outcasts of Elam will not come.

Und ich will den Elamitern bange Angst vor ihren Feinden einflößen und vor denen, die ihnen ans Leben wollen, und verhänge Unglück über sie, die Glut meines Zorns!« – so lautet der Ausspruch des HERRN –, »und ich lasse das Schwert hinter ihnen herfahren, bis ich sie ausgerottet habe!

Y haré que Elam se intimide delante de sus enemigos, y delante de los que buscan su alma; y traeré sobre ellos mal, y el furor de mi enojo, dice Jehová; y enviaré en pos de ellos espada hasta que los acabe.

For I will cause Elam to be dismayed before their enemies, and before them that seek their life: and I will bring evil upon them, even my fierce anger, saith the LORD; and I will send the sword after them, till I have consumed them:

I will cause Elam to be dismayed before their enemies, and before those who seek their life. I will bring evil on them, even my fierce anger,’ says the LORD; ‘and I will send the sword after them, until I have consumed them.
