Ich schauete das Land an, siehe, das war wuste und ode, und den Himmel, und er war finster.

Miré la tierra, y he aquí que estaba asolada y vacía; y los cielos, y no había en ellos luz.

I beheld the earth, and, lo, it was without form, and void; and the heavens, and they had no light.
